Absolutely shocking experience with these morons. Useless customer service, driver cant find an address 4 times because he cant understand signs, cant ring me to come and meet at an easy (for him) location.

To the new CEO of DHL eCommerce
The new CEO of DHL eCommerce, really needs to take a long, hard look at the feedback here.
Drivers appear to be run ragged due to unachievable delivery targets and then leaving the customer to collect their parcels from less than adequate 'Delivery Stations' such as Convenience Stores.
When you have poor leadership right at the top of an organisation, by default, that example will trickle down to every part of your business and then, examplared by the reviews here, it is the customer who has to deal with the fallout! Every time!
A question for the CEO of Evri (as Evri now owns DHL) and the CEO of DHL eCommerce - 'How do you justify the terrible service you deliver to your customers and still believe, in the longer term, customers will continue to accept it'?
A reply would be appropriate, as so far, I have had neither the professional courtesy of an acknowledgement nor a reply to my emails to both the CEO of DHL eCommerce or their Executive Escaltions Team in over a week regarding my Formal Complaint about the disgusting service I was on the receiving end of on 17th and 18th March 2026.

Waited in for the delivery with respect to the 1 hr delivery window as per the email and text message from DHL. Got an update just before the window expired saying the delivery was cancelled and would be re-attempted the next working day. As I was not available for the next day delivery, (Working!) I re-arranged the delivery for a specific date a few days later. Again, I was given a 1 hour window. I took time off work and waited at home.... still no delivery.
What is the point of having 'delivery windows' and 're-delivery options' if none of it works. Impossibly bad courier service.

I would give this zero stars if I could. I wish I’d had read the reviews on here first. I always heard DHL was really reliable but seems this e-commerce one is different? Paid for the pick up next day and deliver the day after that. Parcel didn’t get picked up on the day it was supposed to but nobody bothered to tell us they weren’t coming so waited in all day. Then the parcel when it was delivered went to a wrong address and they had the cheek to say it was delivered and accepted by me??!! Have tried to contact them and they have been totally useless. Avoid at all costs!!!!

My experience seems to be the norm. Not that I chose this company as it was the retailers decision to use them leaving me to be messed around and ultimately let down. I have contacted the retailer but they don't appear concerned that the customer is dissatisfied as the package was delivered and received.
My email to English Whisky;
'Having placed an order over the weekend, for what to me was a not insignificant sum, I received an email on Monday from you and from DHL that the delivery would be on Tuesday The email specifically stated 'We require someone to be at home to accept the parcel so if there's no-one available please select from one of the available rearrange options'. Taking this message at its word I knew that there would be no one at home on Tuesday so I looked at how I could amend my schedule and freed up Thursday and changed the delivery day to Thursday as I didn't want to get carded and rearrange. So on Thursday I was now going to be working from home all day and would be able to sign for the package. Thursday morning and another DHL email 'WE'RE ON OUR WAY Your parcel from English Whisky Co. Ltd is with your DHL eCommerce UK driver for delivery today between 16:00 and 17:00. We require someone to be at home to accept the parcel so if there's no-one available please select from one of the available rearrange options'. I was at home so all would be well. I pencilled in the time slot 16:00 to 17:00 to aim to be finished by then so that I wouldn't be trapped on a call when the delivery driver knocked. Then 14:56 and an email dropped 'YOUR PARCEL HAS BEEN DELIVERED Your parcel from English Whisky Co. Ltd has been delivered today at 14:55 and has been accepted at the delivery address by surname'. I rushed down to check that it was there and had been tucked behind my food waste bin with my plastics/cans recycling bag sat on top. So it had been delivered but no attempt had been made to knock for a signature and to say that it 'has been accepted at the delivery address by surname' is completely false. Seems that I changed my schedule for Tuesday and Thursday and for today for no good reason as the driver had no intention of attempting to get a signature. I had felt a certain amount of assurance because a signature was going to be required and now feel that DHL left me vulnerable to theft and all the hassle that that would have entailed to resolve. It wasn't that the driver was running late either. The slot was 16:00 to 17:00 and the email time was 14:56 so just over one hour early.'
Perhaps it is a good thing that DHL don't seem to go in for one of those 'How did we do?' emails!
I will not be placing any future orders with English Whisky, as much as I enjoy their products. I will have to find it in a store or an alternate online supplier. I have had my WELCOME10 discount so I guess that ship has sailed!
Nor will I order with any other retailer who discloses that DHL are their chosen delivery 'partner'.
I did get my delivery but not without a lot if unnecessary messing about due to their mis-information.
Absolutely pathetic company
Absolutely pathetic company, ordered a phone that i needed and they didnt even bother trying to leave it at my address, adding another 3 days on top of the 2 on to my delivery. Couldnt even speak to a human on the customer service line. Useless.
The driver was rude and took my parcel away to be difficult.

Cant contact them as they use AI and block you form speaking to a person. My advice is dont use DHL if you can avoid it.
Terrible Service
Gave me a delivery slot but tried delivering an hour before my slot so I wasn’t home & there was no attempt to deliver it within my slot that I was given as I would have been home then. No way to make contact as it is all robots & then when I tried to make a complaint they said I contacted DHL in Spain & I need to contact the UK but there was no other contact option so I feel they were just deflecting!!
Avoid at all costs
I had the misfortune of mistaking this abysmal company for the real DHL, I wish I had known what I know now. I would not touch them with a barge pole. I wanted to send a package from the UK to the USA, I presently have no idea where it is or if it will ever arrive. There is no way of tracking it and when you try to speak to anyone they are the rudest people I have ever dealt with, considering I worked in customer service this is really saying something. I would caution anyone having anything to do with this rotten company, absolutely shameful service.

my package ordered to my workplace KNOWING 100% someone is there at reception BUT delivery was attempted 2-3 hours before stated time normally that is a good thing but then DHL have tried to deliver to a empty loading bay took a picture and left !!!! FUNNY thing is DHL had to walked past reception to get picture of attempted delivery. how stupid or lazy do you have to do this. and when trying to contacted DHL to complain you get a machine that kicks you off the call. worst ever delivery company/driver

This is the second time I’ve had issues with DHL failing to deliver a parcel.
On 16/03, the driver buzzed my flat but was unable to communicate in English. I literally ran downstairs, the driver couldn’t drive off quick enough.
I rearranged delivery for 20/03, giving five days’ notice and making sure I was available all day. I have now checked the tracking and, without any attempt to contact me, it states the delivery was has been rescheduled.
I have stayed home specifically for this delivery, and it’s extremely frustrating to see repeated failures with no clear explanation or accountability.
Very poor service!!!

2 Days later "PARCEL DELAYED" and has been for over a month!

Refrain from using dhl-ecom as a courier , lied about making delivery attempts, took 4 days to deliver my parcel to a collection point. Customer service are so rude also …lady shouted at me for keep asking to have my parcel withheld at a depo for collection, AVOID AT ALL COSTS OR BE MENTALLY DRAINED !

I just can't believe how bad they are and how they can still take on business from retailers. I will make this a rule for myself. If DHL is the delivery company, I will stop buying from that company.
So far 2 out of 3 deliveries either didn't arrive (with tracking shows I wasn't home to accept the parcel- big lie) or delivered to a wrong address (I mean very wrong address, like different street). And today's issue is them failing to show up for a collection for a return. No way of contacting them to figure out what's happening. The expectation is I have to be home 7/24 and hope for them to show up.

Not fit for purpose
I arranged and paid for DHL to collect a parcel. They said they would come between 8am and 6pm. I stayed at home all day but they did not come. They then texted me the next day to say they would come that day. They didn't. No texts or emails from them. I gave up and used Evri instead. Aside from not collecting the parcel, they are impossible to communicate with or complain to. Customer service is just a useless bot that gives answers that don't relate to your question. If I would give no stars I would.
