Just. Terrible.

Just. Terrible.
Bought an expensive item. The Company I bought it from unfortunately only uses DHL for their UK deliveries .
Waited in for the delivery with respect to the 1 hr delivery window as per the email and text message from DHL. Got an update just before the window expired saying the delivery was cancelled and would be re-attempted the next working day. As I was not available for the next day delivery, (Working!) I re-arranged the delivery for a specific date a few days later. Again, I was given a 1 hour window. I took time off work and waited at home.... still no delivery.
What is the point of having 'delivery windows' and 're-delivery options' if none of it works. Impossibly bad courier service.

Truly terrible delivery service.

Ordered a battery online in the early am with next day delivery, so ample time to get the order dispatched and out by the next working day.
Unlike most other companies, there's no tracking number and the delivery notification simply says 'between 8am and 6pm'. Took time off work and waited in ALL DAY, but no battery turned up. I phoned up the company and was told there was no way of knowing what had happened or why it had not turned up.
The call handler said the company had recently changed their phone system, and could no longer tell me details of why the item did not turn up or what had gone wrong, as they were not in contact with the regional branch - in fact, they could not tell me where my nearest branch was or where the item was dispatched from. They also told me that 'no promise had been made' to deliver the item next day, and that the email notification with a delivery date and time was just 'an automated reply', despite me paying extra for express delivery.
Another call handler told me they prioritise trade orders and consequently de-prioritise customers with one off orders etc. A simple tracking service would go a long way to helping with this situation if something does go wrong with the delivery - you can then change plans and accommodate a re-delivery time.
Awful service.

Very poor communication and poor service.


Arranged a re-delivery for my parcel over the phone with APC customer service. Re-delivery was arranged for an AM slot 3 days later. I was told I'd get texted with a 2 hr window on the new delivery date, 3 days away, I even double checked to see they had my phone number attached correctly.

Waited in on the new delivery day but the parcel never arrived. No emails or texts arrived either.
Phoned customer service early PM and was told it could arrive 'any time up to 4pm'. I was then advised to ring the local depot for more up-to-date info. When I rang the local depot they said they had nothing on their system saying a re-delivery had even been organised! No phone number attached to the delivery or any communication with head office about the updated delivery had been inputted onto their system. Then I went to the depot in person to pick up the parcel to avoid further delays.
Upon inspection the parcel was damaged - expensive items damaged in transit despite the 'fragile' info clearly presented on the outer packaging.
One star review! Awful courier service.

Totally rubbish!

Totally rubbish!
It's really gone down hill in the last 18 months, and it wasn't very good before then.
Very filthy showers and changing rooms, nothing gets cleaned properly so everything is caked in grease and dirt (enviromental health should pay a visit to this place as it's disgusting - especially the showers).
They close the facilities 15-30 mins earlier than the advertised time, in which time one of the desk staff just hoses down the communal areas just before it shuts. They do this to ensure that they don't have the pay the desk staff a minute longer, and they won't pay for professional cleaning staff to come in and clean the place properly. It's not worth the membership at all, not to mention being a health hazard and
needs sorting out immediately.
