A delivery driver with a very bad attitude.
Abysmal
DHLecommerce claims they tried to deliver, but i was here all day waiting. Nothing. The really aggravating part is that there is literally no way to get in touch and talk to a human being, if you are the recipient. The phone number is another chat bot and hangs up on you. The online option to reschedule a delivery didn't work either. I rang DHL who told me there was simply no number in existence for DHLecommerce! Eventually i got through on an international number, who gave me a UK number, which turned out to be for businesses and had a long phone queue. To add insult to injury, when i finally got to talk to someone i was chastised for taking up the time of the person on the phone. She promised to message the depot and ring me back. That was many hours ago. This is not customer service. It's willfully obstructionist. Avoid at all costs.

Parcel not delivered because apparently…
Parcel not delivered because apparently they can't access my easily accessible address. I can't get through to anyone either. Number is for WhatsApp chat bot that just tells me delivery was attempted and when I ring the number and put in my tracking number they tell me again the same thing. No option to actually speak to a person. I've been home all day waiting. Have had no issues with other delivery companies accessing my address.

I would give 0 stars if that was possible. They have one job to do and they simply can’t do that. Incompetence on an Olympic level. A completely awful performance. I will never order from a company that uses DHL. They simply do not know what they are doing, it’s mind boggling how useless they are. Should be shut down.

I made a purchase from QVC the item was sent straight from supplier. The supplier uses DHL e-commerce. This item was to be delivered 20th February 2026. I had a message on that day that the item had been delayed. The item was to be delivered on 23rd February 2026 as a result of that delay. I was at home and let in the courier from DHL into the property. He came to my door. I saw him he took the item back. He then gave QVC the excused that the item was too heavy so he has to take it back. This goes to show the untruth. If an item is heavy, perhaps one will not increase the journey handle the item. It shows a level of disrespect and apparent disdain for the customers use of the item, the customer purchased! Quite frankly! In a conversation with QVC it was confirmed the courier didn't deliver the item because it was too heavy. I reordered the item. The item was to be delivered 4th March which is today. I have just seen a message on the DHL page that there is no access to property. This is so dishonest. Yet DHL was at my home took the item back to the supplier because according to the courier the item was too heavy! DHL has delivered to me on the 18th February 2026. I have not had any problems it seems to me. There are certain employee to DHL whose sole purpose in life is to do their best to be discriminatory, unkind and deceptive; as it appears just because they can. I suspect, it's, particularly, because there are no checks and balances couriers can do anything. The courier was in a secure area in the property; at my door yet he took the item back. There should be a lot of worrying thoughts by DHL management, by such behaviour. Particularly, when there is no risk of any accusation about non delivery by customers given modern technology and tracking. Every courier is fitted with a tracker. This courier has never asked my name, address, postcode nothing. He simply took the item back. The reordered item has not come out at all. There are clearly some employees of DHL who are above exercising the requisite amount of decency required to complete an effective human interaction where delivery are concern. There is absolutely no way DHL, should seek to keep in its employment, individuals who set out in this way to harass customers by simply just not appropriately delivering the items, customers have purchased and relying on its use. I think this outrageous behaviour which has been consistent has affected the delivery of my item. It now seems that there must be a crucial look at honesty and integrity of that courier. I am still waiting to receive my item since February 20th 2026. There is one individual who has cause my delivery not to be delivered. DHL; there should not be any individuals that are employed to DHL enjoying this sort of harassment of customers. I honestly believe that has a company this must be urgently addressed! There doesn't appear to be an understanding particularly in this courier case what his job role is. He currently, think it is to annoy custom. harass customers; by not delivering items, and lie about the reason for non delivery. Since the 28th February 2026. I have had deliveries from, amazon, Evri, Royal Mail, DPD, DPX, yodel, Relay, DHL on the 18th February 2026, none of these couriers have made the claims the DHL couriers has made on the 23rd February 2026. None has received my item from the supplier. Instead of delivering the item, lies about not having access to the property. This is outrageous behaviour. There has been zero assist from Customer Services. This is the tracking. 31503652649275. I never had an out for delivery message. Appalling.
Extremely poor service and zero…
Extremely poor service and zero customer support.
I paid to send a parcel from the UK to Italy with an estimated delivery time of 4 working days. The parcel was addressed to someone in prison and I provided all the available information from the beginning.
During customs clearance they asked to speak directly with the receiver, which is obviously impossible when the person is in prison. I contacted customer service multiple times, explained the situation clearly and offered to provide any additional documents or information needed. Instead of helping or proposing a solution, they were completely unhelpful.
The parcel was never delivered and after many delays it was simply returned to the UK. To make things worse, when I requested a refund for a service that clearly failed, they refused and claimed it was not their responsibility.
So basically: no delivery, no assistance, and no refund.
Very unprofessional handling of a situation that could have easily been managed with proper customer support. I would strongly advise people to think twice before using this service.

Day 1 update (Tue): They lie about not being able to gain access. I've been home the whole of the delivery slot and no one has attempted to "gain access". They told me that "We're sorry but we haven’t been able to deliver your shipment as our driver was unable to gain access to the delivery address", which is a blatant lie. Now I will have to wait at home tomorrow too, for their next attempt.
Day 2 update (Wed): With 4 hours notice of their 1 hour delivery window, they said they'd deliver the next day, but exactly the same thing happened. Their map showed the van near my address for about 1 hour, but it wasn't there when I went into the street to find it.
Day 3 update (Thu): At 10:24 I received an SMS message giving me a delivery window between 14:19 and 15:19. At the start of the day I could see the courier getting closer to my property, then by 15:00 the website said that the courier was "unable to gain access" and the expected delivery date has been pushed to tomorrow. I'm now thinking that something is broken with their IT system.
Day 4 update (Fri): Pretty much the same thing happened today. I received an SMS message in the morning giving me a 1 hour delivery window in the afternoon. Before the delivery window had even started the website said that the "driver was unable to gain access to the delivery address", which is rubbish. Their map of the location of their delivery van seems to be broken as whenever I look at it always shows the van in my street.
Day 5 and 6 update (Mon & Tues): No SMS messages and no attempted delivery. Since Friday their website has said "We expect to deliver on the next working day".
Final update: The courier company returned the item to the sender (Boots) with no explanation of why they couldn't deliver it to me.
I'll also say that it's impossible to contact anyone at the company. All the methods of contact are automated and a waste of time.

Waited in all evening for a delivery that never arrived. Now tracking is showing as delivering today at 7pm. No human to speak to. I guess by the other reviews this is a terrible company to use.
Failure to follow instructions…
Having left instructions concerning the delivery of a small piece of perishable furniture the item was left outside my property in the pouring rain. Despite efforts to complain and speak to a human being I found myself going round and round in circles with limited bot options. It’s almost as if DHL are not interested in customer service.
The difficulty is that the retailer chooses the delivery company but it’s the customer that suffers the appalling service!

I waited ar home for my parcel to be collected between 16:53-17:53. Then the driver deceided not to come and collect. Now they say tomorrow, time is not communicated. Terrible service, it seems like I need to spend my life at home for the parcel to be collected. Ridiculuous.
Unhelpful and deliberately obfuscatory automated customer service.
DHL failed to pick up my package on the date as agreed - after I had paid. I tried to ring and also use whatsapp to query this but neither system even accepted my query, asking me for information I did not have. Their automated - non-human - customer service system is not designed to offer customer service but simply to block customer service because it's too expensive to process.
Absolutely shocking service
Absolutely shocking service. My brand new phone was supposedly “delivered” to a neighbour, with the courier even taking a photo and uploading it as proof. Moments later, he took the parcel back claiming he’d made a mistake — yet instead of walking 20 metres to actually deliver it to me, he simply drove off.
This was raised immediately with DHL eCommerce, who claimed they would “look into it.” Over the course of a week, I made multiple calls chasing an update. Every single time, I was told that they still hadn’t managed to get hold of the local depot. Completely unacceptable.
Due to the total lack of communication, I asked on three separate occasions to speak to the Line Manager. Each time I was told they were “busy” and would call me back within three hours. Not one of them called back. These managers were Steffanie, Enisitine and Jessica — all of whom failed to follow through on the most basic responsibility of returning a customer’s call.
This complete failure of Customer Service goes directly against DHL eCommerce’s own Complaints Process Charter. Even worse, this Charter claims that DHL eCommerce UK is a registered full member of the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman — which is simply not true.
The entire experience has been an absolute sham. At no point did anyone take ownership, communicate properly, or provide any meaningful support to resolve what is effectively the theft of my brand new phone.
DHL eCommerce has shown zero accountability, zero urgency, and zero respect for its customers.
No-one should use this courier service
Twice now I've had DHL drivers fail to come in the time that was supposedly allotted. And when calling to find out what's happening on both occasions the company and/or driver have lied and said they came and no-one was in. No card was left and both times I was at home waiting. Its nigh impossible to find a way to contact them, and when you do the system is archaic. The company is totally untrustworthy, outdated and unprofessional.
Unfit to trade
Unfit to trade. An utterly incompetent company. They have had the item since 3rd March and have revised the estimated date for delivery at least twice. No actual functioning customer service that’s of any vague use - just an automated recorded response which actually contradicted the info on their tracking.

A truly dreadful experience.
Awful experience. Automated system that just lies. I was expecting a package delivery in the morning time slot, this time went by and then the delivery page said "Sorry we're running late". No problem, I thought - I will wait in. Then 3 hours later I get an email saying I have missed delivery. No note, nothing on our front door camera. I looked at the proof of visit and it isn't even in our street, and the photo is just blank. Tried to get in touch with someone but there's only an automated phoneline and a WhatsApp, both of which just say "Attempted Delivery has been missed." Unfortunately it seems as though this is a common occurrence from the reviews here, but I wanted to share as I would avoid buying from any retailer who uses them.
