Lovely meal at Estábulo Doncaster, very good food and friendly and experienced staff. Pleasant and chilled atmosphere, will definitely return

Went for lunch in Darlington on a Friday. Staff were very friendly and knew what they were talking about. The meat was beautifully cooked and melt in your mouth. The salad was fresh. The toilets were clean. Recommend it.

I had my after wedding dinner in August, in Barnsley. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice and responsive. I would recommend to everyone.

Visited the restaurant in Harrogate with my son for the first time. Gosh, where do I start !...were the only ones in there but still waited at least 20 minutes before any meat came out, my son was filling himself up from the salad bar as he was hungry (can't help but think this was there intention). A waitress sat us down then that was it, we never saw her again. I asked for tap water and she brought me a bottle of sparking water which she'd opened so made it difficult to return but I did and got the tap water. The meat came out in dribs and drabs...at least 10 minutes between each visit. The rump was tough and the pork belly was too sweet which wasn't nice. Never got offered drinks. Flagged the waiter/manager down for fries...this took another 10 minutes then he only brought one portion out so had to ask for more of which the look on his face I may as well have asked for money out of the till ! I'd got myself a pot of peppercorn sauce which was cold by the time he brought more fries out then the lack of meat meant we were eating everything separately. Really horrid experience, we'll be in no rush to go back. The bill came to £54...they'd even charged for the tap water can you believe ! I think this was because they'd had to throw the bottled sparkling water away so charged for it. Not a nice experience for neither us nor my bank account. The most expensive salad and french baguette i've ever had. Will be going back to Fazenda in Leeds in future.

We went to this estabulo in Doncaster 17 July 2022 our table was booked for 12,30, on arrival we was seated them they started to bring out the meat it was covered in salt looked and tasted like it was leftovers from last night, I wouldn’t feed a dog on what they tried to pass off as food, after 20 minutes of have this garbage brought to the table, I asked for the bill and was charged £50 this included service charge for what amounted to 20 minutes of dining , I complained to the manager who didn’t seam interested. Been there on numerous ovations won’t be going again

We came to the Barnsley location for my partners birthday - was greeted with a lovely young lady, professional and polite. Explained everything to us (first time dining here). Food was incredible, meats came out regular, lots of choice on the salad bar too. 10/10 recommend!

I also noted the restaurant was extremely clean and well maintained.

Estábulo Harrogate is absolutely top class.
Ive been meaning to review for a while, ive now visited here 6 times over the past few years and i dont have a bad word to say about them.
The meat is amazing, cooked to perfection and the salad bar is always fully stocked and fresh, the managers and staff are so very welcoming, they always come round to make sure you’re enjoying yourself and have everything you need, truly giving you the I dependant restaurant feel to a chain.

Really disappointed and certainly not worth £150

Went with family of 5, bank holiday Monday, place was empty, hardly anything on the buffet, they advertise 15 cuts of meat on an evening, we was offered 5, then the same over and over. Requested gammon and pineapple 3 times and after 30 mins still none. Added £13 tip on to bill, then when I paid cash they didn’t even give me change. Felt like I’ve been robbed.

WILL NOT RETURN

This restaurant is truly amazing. The food is delicious and the staff are really lovely. Please, you must try this place in Darlington it is awesome

Disappointed really. Nice restaurant, miserable servers didn't seem like the majority of the servers wanted to be there. Annoyed that they added a £17 tip onto the bill. Expensive cocktails. Never got offered 15 meats more like 9 on a rotation. Wouldn't go again. £181 for 4 people would rather have had eaten elsewhere. Waiters kept dripping fat into drinks whilst serving. There were a couple of nice people, but honestly couldn't believe the other servers attitudes, ruined the experience.

I’m not the type to leave reviews, especially bad ones but wanted to bring awareness regarding this. My partner and I decided to dine here (Estabula Leeds) for his birthday, however, the manager then came over and to our surprise started accusing us of smelling like weed which I was really confused about because we’re not smokers (I’ve never once smoked in my life), he continued suggesting that we should step outside ‘for some fresh air and come back in afterwards’’. I responded by saying that what he’s actually spelling is ‘’ Dior Sauvage perfume which I don’t believe smells like such, my partner continued asking him would he approach everyone in the restaurant if to his belief smelled of such? Or even asked to step out if they smelled bad or smelled like cigarettes?. He was embarrassed and later realised that he was mistaken and apologies, I told him it was okay because I was uncomfortable when truly it wasn’t. We were so traumatised, still am of such an experience, especially coming directly from a manager himself, couldn’t move we barely ate anything. Nevertheless, the manager covered the bill which we appreciate but such an experience can’t compare to just sorting out a bill. I've visited this place many times but as nice as the food was, we won’t be coming back to experience such discrimination.

We visited the Darlington restaurant Saturday lunchtime after a recommendation from a friend.
After being shown to our table, Tom came over and explained how service works. First we visited to salad bar - amazing choice and so much more than I expected! Then the servers started bringing out all the different meats on offer. These were all cooked to perfection (although if you don't like medium rare it's probably not for you).
After we had finished, Tom was back to make sure we had enjoyed our meal. He really seemed to care that each customer had enjoyed their visit. All the servers were very friendly and polite.
We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and can't wait to go back soon.

Came to the Estábulo in Beverley on Saturday 4th March 2022. I had heard it was good but it far exceeded my expectations. The salad bar alone was amazing but the meat was to die for. More meat than i could eat but tried my hardest. I came with my friend and we were both very impressed and the waiting staff were so good and there was no limit on the meat on offer...it just kept coming. I'd like to that Eddie who served us as he was extremely helpful and defiantly a asset to your team and company. I'll be back again soon. Pete x

Fabulous valentines evening with the husband. Naz our waitress was amazing and couldn’t do enough, it was very busy as you can imagine on valentines evening and she was just brilliant. We had never been before and would 100% go back. Thank you for a fabulous evening Naz x

Estabulo Norwich, sadly won’t be returning.

We arrived for the Valentine’s meal and everything started well, we were served Prosecco and had a brief, pleasant introduction into how the service worked with the red/green cards etc. Sadly this is when the food service stopped.

Although we cannot fault the food which was absolutely fantastic, the service was absolutely appalling (despite having at least 10 waiters I’d estimate) as throughout of meal (which we finished in the first 45 minutes) we were not offered any drinks, nor did we have anyone come round to check if everything was okay with our meal. Once we had finished we tried to flag down one of the waiters but still ended up waiting a further 30 minutes just before our plates had been cleared…. We had a dessert to share which was edible, however after waiting a further 20 minutes for the bill and no waiters in sight we ended up getting all of our stuff together and paid a waiter at the door as we were sick of waiting at this point.

It is a real shame that there was no customer service because the food was top notch and really let the experience down. I appreciate that people don’t like to be rushed in a restaurant like this, but frankly not being offered drinks whilst you are there (and having empty glasses) is exceptionally poor.

I think the food is worth the price tag…but we will not be going back unless can afford to spend 2 and a half hours doing not much.

Excellent customer service, the most divine meats, cooked to absolute perfection. Staff very attentive and courteous. My favourite place to eat out!!

Good food, friendly staff, only reason not to give 5 was it seemed a bit disorganised

Personal experience was rubbish!!!
Had a much better meal at Favella in same town. Exactly same restaurant style, same price!
Nothing good to say about Estabulo, sorry!!
