Don’t fall into this money trap, compare first.
Awful company, they’ll charge you what they like and your premium goes up even if you don’t claim.
I made a complaint that my second dog wasn’t added to my policy (which I found out after 2 years and only because I called) which led to a further complaint that my price had more than doubled.
They took 7 weeks to get back to me with a response and they said, we can’t find a record of your call from 2 years ago to add your second dog... no I’m iré you can’t because companies don’t keep recordings that long, because they couldn’t find a record they refused to do anything about it.

Beginning with whether the increases in premium at each renewal were reasonable, I considered the policy started from the 7th September, 2012 at £234.02 (after deduction of an introductory discount). Picking up again from 2016, renewal was invited at £316.12, £362.13, £420.07, £487.28, and more recently £574.99 in 2020. Having looked into this further, I was satisfied that each invitation was calculated as it should have been, and in an equitable way.
I’m not only disgusted at the way my complaint was dealt with, I’m discussing with the company, they’d rather lose a customer then reduce my fees, but they’ll happily pocket the £500 per year they’ve taken already and see me on my way.
It’s worth noting that you can go on comparison sites, I found a like for like comparison with all the exact same cover for £4 per month per dog, £48 per year, £500 less than PetPlan!
