Visited the restaurant in Harrogate with my son for the first time. Gosh, where do I start !...were the only ones in there but still waited at least 20 minutes before any meat came out, my son was filling himself up from the salad bar as he was hungry (can't help but think this was there intention). A waitress sat us down then that was it, we never saw her again. I asked for tap water and she brought me a bottle of sparking water which she'd opened so made it difficult to return but I did and got the tap water. The meat came out in dribs and drabs...at least 10 minutes between each visit. The rump was tough and the pork belly was too sweet which wasn't nice. Never got offered drinks. Flagged the waiter/manager down for fries...this took another 10 minutes then he only brought one portion out so had to ask for more of which the look on his face I may as well have asked for money out of the till ! I'd got myself a pot of peppercorn sauce which was cold by the time he brought more fries out then the lack of meat meant we were eating everything separately. Really horrid experience, we'll be in no rush to go back. The bill came to £54...they'd even charged for the tap water can you believe ! I think this was because they'd had to throw the bottled sparkling water away so charged for it. Not a nice experience for neither us nor my bank account. The most expensive salad and french baguette i've ever had. Will be going back to Fazenda in Leeds in future.
