They have had my review flagged and taken off saying its defamatory???? It's factual. They took our pension contributions out of our wages and didn't pay them into nest. We are still trying to get the money back. They didn't pay us and we had to claim money owed off the government. Terrible people

Baaj Capital and Duncan Ross came in and took over the company I worked for in 2024.

Never paid PAYE, NI and committed lots of fraud. Made redundant with no redundancy payment or notice.

Still going through the tribunal process to get what we deserve, the worst of the worst. Stay clear.

I worked for Bodycare for 18 years. 3 years ago it got taken over. We went into administration beginning of September then closed down 18th. September. We last got paid beginning of August but got told to carry on working. Money for are pensions in August got taken out are wages but never went into are pension pot. We are still trying to sort it. We had to apply to the Government for help for loss of wages and redundancy pay. We were just the next victim and we wont be the last unfortunately.

They are flagging everyone reviews to try to get out of what they have done do not deal with them and believe me they are the worst company and will fail this year

A once thriving company Bodycare has been destroyed. All stores have closed by the end of September. New branches were opened but fixtures and fittings were not paid for. It broke our hearts to loose our jobs, we were a close knit team who looked after each other, a job and company we loved. Its devastating.

From November 2024 stock became low. Kept telling us that no one will loose their jobs and deliveries will pick up. When the company went into administration 5th September there was no money to pay our wages. In 2 months we have been paid just 2 weeks pay. They have destroyed us and set up a new company as of February this year. We had just 3 days notice and closed the door on our branch for the last time 19th September 2025. We had to stay to the end after administration else we would have lost our redundancy, notice period for service and 4 weeks 5 days pay.

For those with a long service 12 years and more have 2 options, wait 12 weeks for the notice period to finish and get paid for that or get a job and it stops. We have had to apply through the government for back pay, redundancy and notice period.

People and companies like this will carry on destroying lives and companies until the government does something.

Do not go anywhere near this company !!!! They took over the company I worked for and absolutely crushed it. Refused to pay suppliers, refused credits to customers, kept pension money and expenses. The majority of us are out of pocket due to these people. Wages were constantly wrong. They have absolutely no morals.
I am just hoping one day they get their comeuppance. I find it shocking they are allowed to get away with what they do. It is so wrong on so many levels. I loved my job and the people I worked with and they took it all. The stress this company cause is damaging. If they take over a company you work for take my advice and leave and soon as you can.

Would give a 0 if I could. The company I worked for was acquired by Baaj. After around a year of continuing to work there, I knew morally I had to leave. There were multiple pension payments taken from my pay slip and never put into my account. To this day, I have still not received it. The company that was paying me was liquidated according to Companies House and then a new company were paying us. I think Jas did this so he did not have to pay us the pension. No response to any emails from anyone when asking about this to this day.

Baaj also own In The Style and after seeing what some of the influencers were saying about not being paid for their work, I knew I had to go. Nothing Jas does it legal or morally right yet somehow gets away with it.

Jas buys businesses, makes hundred of staff redundant without proper redundancy pay, then expects the little remaining staff to be able to pick up the pieces. He has no care to the actual businesses he buys and does nothing to help them grow yet it easy to to blame the remaining staff when no profit is made. He truly only cares about his own money. He has some very hard working and loyal staff that he does not care about or respect.

Baaj capital were a majority shareholder in our company, and quickly turned out to be as dodgy and underhand as all of the rest of the reviews describe.

They did not pay pension contributions taken out of salaries into pension funds, liquidated payroll companies and TUPEd people without their consent/knowledge multiple times and created a hostile working environment at every area they touched.

Their business model is based upon buying businesses for cheap in order to skim the profit off of buying stock at reduced price. They will not reinvest in your brand, they do not care about your brand growth. They will drive your business into the ground, wind it up and then move on to the next vulnerable business.

Do not sell your business to these people, nor work for any business that they are affiliated with. You will regret it.

Vile excuse for Humans !!! Let's hope eventually that these people get the comeuppance they deserve if your Company ever gets taken over by these start looking for another Job it's never going to end well !!!

This company are charlatans who seem to rescue type deals for companies dont invest then put them into administration. Their latest victim happened today joining the ranks of multiple others they purchased who have has the same happen to them.
Being a liability company not liable for any debts occurred. I can 1000% say what their next move will be around the latest victim of theirs watch this space
UPDATE! Baaj capital also known as jds50 jds51 jds52 allegedly along with another company who I won't name loaned the company he owned Bodycare £7 million by way of a debenture google this word it tells you all you need to know about these crooked singh brothers especially as it states on companies house this was done on the 26th August less than 2 weeks before administration. Also baaj are registered as a limited liability company again google this also .Any review you see with rating over 2 is probably written by a friend or relative

Baaj capital brought Vale Brothers in October 2023.
Having read the reviews on this company we new that we were in for a rough ride.
On the 17th June 2025 we were TUPE over to Serali Ltd, on the 30th June 2025 we was put on lay off due to no orders.
Despite working till the 30th we received no salary and to date 17.09 we still have not recived a penny from them.
In fact Serali is a boarded up building in Manchester covered in graffiti (obviously not used for some time).
Like others before us they took pension money and taxes from our salaries and not paid in.
Some have us have many continuous years service 45 plus
These crooks should be brought to justice.

Another victim of these people they brought Amscan from administration in July 2024 , At the time I thought I was fortunate as was one of the employees that I got TUPE over after working for 14 years at Amscan with all my existing terms and conditions of employment , Baaj Capital originally brought the business through administration deal . But once they took over things was very clear they was just intending to sell all the stock and shut it down . They changed the company to JDS64 LTD , made us all redundant on 30th June 2025 no notice period given no consultation period was done , just made the 35 warehouse staff redundant but have failed to pay any redundancy monies to date . With some staff being there longer than me ! Now the only way is to take them to court , they also failed to pay 5 months of my pension contributions during the nearly 12 months worked under these crooks and there dodgy 5/6 consultants . They kept the office staff and transferred them to another company of there’s and set up new offices in MK1 1FB.
These bunch of people are just out to rip people off and buy up busted companies and then asset strip them . The government need to seek action against these people as failing to pay people there redundancy money is illegal !
I believe these people are involved with lots of other companies and this has happened to many staff across there businesses , failing to pay redundancy and pension contributions !!

I have put 1 star but it is actually 0. If this company takes over your place of work get out quick. They have taken pension money out of my partners wages for months but not been paying it into his pension. This is theft but he has got away with it many times. Now having to claim redundancy and loss of earnings from the goverment ie tax payers. Disappointing they are not held accountable and just carry on investing in other companies to run them into the ground.

It is shameful that this company gets away with shameful activities without any action being taken against them. How many people must suffer at the hands of these unscrupulous individuals before something is done. My sister in law worked for her company for 22 years before BAAJ Capital bought the company out and then made her redundant with tens of thousands of pounds owed to her which has not been paid!! Are they really beyond the law of this land?

I can not believe how many people have been affected by these individuals. Also I can no believe how this can go with no repercussions whatsoever against them . They should be behind bars because of everything they have caused to inocent , hard working people that were just trying to to get some help . We were over 20 people affected by this and unfortunately nothing has been done against them or to stop them . They will go ahead and open a new entity and do it again and again . Something needs to be done to stop them.

Jaswinder Singh from Wakefield, 32a Albion st, Castleford has been doing this for 15 years since I have known of him. He used to be an importer under Kirens international, now he seems to have gone into full time scamming and this is just another outfit of his. Dalwinder is his brother who's another absolute chancer.

They think by renaming a company on companies house you can just DO LEGAL FRAUD MAYBE EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS ?

Please let’s all set up a page or something to get this sorted they can’t keep getting away with this I’m at a point where I’m happy to go to there office get arrested & then il tell the police & the courts EXACLY why and see what they do then as I’ve had enough of these type of scum bags thinking they can just hide behind legal stupid loop holes if the system is broken then something must be done

This is not allowed in our country & it needs to be STOPPED now they are just stealing hard working people’s life savings ! It’s beyond evil please please help us spread the word the POLICE & all legal people ie FCA & so on will be informed suppose they wont care as it’s the aim market but something needs doing there not going to get away with just stealing money & doing this blatant fraud it’s disturbing to say the least this happens in 2024 in the uk

Unethical company run by scandalous people who break every employment law and bully their way through.
On the surface they claim to be reputable but looking into their business practices proves that they are completely dishonest.
Beware and don’t get caught out by them.
