A once thriving company destroyed

A once thriving company Bodycare has been destroyed. All stores have closed by the end of September. New branches were opened but fixtures and fittings were not paid for. It broke our hearts to loose our jobs, we were a close knit team who looked after each other, a job and company we loved. Its devastating.

From November 2024 stock became low. Kept telling us that no one will loose their jobs and deliveries will pick up. When the company went into administration 5th September there was no money to pay our wages. In 2 months we have been paid just 2 weeks pay. They have destroyed us and set up a new company as of February this year. We had just 3 days notice and closed the door on our branch for the last time 19th September 2025. We had to stay to the end after administration else we would have lost our redundancy, notice period for service and 4 weeks 5 days pay.

For those with a long service 12 years and more have 2 options, wait 12 weeks for the notice period to finish and get paid for that or get a job and it stops. We have had to apply through the government for back pay, redundancy and notice period.

People and companies like this will carry on destroying lives and companies until the government does something.

Wanted a basic cheapish phone

Wanted a basic cheapish phone, this was perfect. Until 32 days after purchase. The phone is now useless, won't charge even though charge sign is on. Had to purchase a replacement phone different company. Waste of hard earned money.

Poor attitudes

Since the payrise the drivers received and the increase in fares the attitude off many drivers has been dismal. Mistakes they make they don't apologise for or hold themselves to account, when there's a problem passengers are not informed and left sitting for ages
It's not hard to be friendly.

Fed up of West Midlands travel

Fed up of West Midlands travel, but it's the only way many can travel. So many drivers are so rude giving attitude. Unless you are willing to stand in the middle of the road and wave like crazy they just go straight past. Why have you chosen to change to swift on phones, unless you have the latest phone you can't use a swift card to read it on the scanner. So worried about paying on this app for the amount of people having so much trouble. When you are paying hard earned money onto this and doesn't work it doesn't say much good about your company. I'm left waiting most nights in Birmingham city centre for over 30 minutes for a number 12 or 13 bus to turn up. So few buses a double decker is standing room only before Morrisons at 5 ways. It takes just about 1 hour in the morning to get to work yet nearly 2 hours to get home. Your company is a joke, its got so much worse since the numbers were changed from the originals.

Great

After a glitch due to these bad times the latest items bought from Sports direct have been brilliant. Having local click and collect is great. Love shopping with the company. Such good prices, customer service has been helpful. Postage has been pretty fast, arriving in just a few days.
