Modern day highway robbers

It is shameful that this company gets away with shameful activities without any action being taken against them. How many people must suffer at the hands of these unscrupulous individuals before something is done. My sister in law worked for her company for 22 years before BAAJ Capital bought the company out and then made her redundant with tens of thousands of pounds owed to her which has not been paid!! Are they really beyond the law of this land?

Royal Mail called at 7.30 in the…

Royal Mail called at 7.30 in the morning and I didn’t get to the door quick enough as on 3rd floor. Now got to get to sorting office to collect.

Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear of the inconvenience caused to you.

Royal Mail do start making deliveries at 7:00am in the morning it does depend upon the region/location what time delivery is made.

On this occasion it seems Royal Mail have not attempted to make delivery at your nominated safe place and have taken the delivery back to the local depot for collection.

You can either arrange re-delivery or collect the parcel from your local depot.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to you.

Product and people great but processes let them down

I ordered a reasonably priced Fridge Freezer which was delivered the following morning. The ordering process was very easy and I was impressed with the speed of delivery. However, the product arrived with damaged outer packaging but the product was not unpacked by the delivery man who could not get away quick enough. I opened the packaging where it was damaged to find a dent in the front door of the freezer. I called ao who offered me a discount to keep the product but I did not want a fridge/freezer in my kitchen with a dent in the front.
Ao could not deliver the following day (Thursday) so I had to wait until Saturday for the next delivery but I was given an am delivery slot (free of charge!). On Friday evening I received a call to tell me the only other product of the type I ordered in the warehouse was also damaged. I would now have to wait until the following Wednesday for delivery but again would be given a 'free' am delivery slot! I lost the purchaser of my old unit as a result!
On Saturday morning at 7am I received a text to tell me that on that afternoon they would be collecting the damaged unit. I called to tell them that I would not be home so they said they would collect on Wednesday when then delivered the new one. However, just as we were leaving home at 2pm on Saturday their driver turned up to collect the damaged unit.
On Wednesday I received an early wake-up call (6.30am) from ao with a recorded message stating that my new unit would be delivered before 9am (which I knew from a text they had already sent saying delivery would be between 7-9am). I therefore got up, got ready and waited - until 9.30 for the delivery when it came.
Great customer focussed people Ao; great product range and prices but please review your processes in order that you recognised damaged goods before they are delivered and co-ordinate your depts together so that they don't clash i.e. timed delivery for Sat morning cancelled but collection arranged without customer liaison for Sat afternoon.

I am pleased to hear that you are happy with our ordering process. Despite this, I am very sorry for the issues that you have experienced. I can appreciate how disappointing this must be.

I can see that your order was originally placed on Sunday 2 November 2014. Although the drivers tried to deliver the original Samsung fridge freezer on Wednesday 5 November, the fridge freezer did not fit in to your kitchen.

I am saddened to learn that the Lec fridge freezer was delivered damaged. All of the vans are loaded during the night. Although we will always try our best to ensure that the appliances arrive in perfect condition, it is possible that the damage was not noticed at the time when the van was being loaded.

Ideally, we would have been able to deliver a replacement fridge freezer the very next day. Unfortunately, if the appliance was out of stock it would not have been possible for us to organise this.

When something goes wrong, we will update our customers as soon as it is possible for us to do so. We would always make the decision to be honest with our customers and therefore made you aware that the second appliance was sent to us damaged. The damaged Lec fridge freezer was collected on Saturday 8 November 2014 as the agent that was dealing with this did not cancel the original collection. I am extremely sorry for this mistake.

Our drivers are normally friendly and helpful so it is surprising to read that the driver was unable to get away quick enough. We take feedback like this extremely seriously and I can assure you that this issue will be investigated.

The experience that you have had does not reflect our usual high level of service and I would like to apologise for the inconvenience that you have experienced.
