1. Damaged Product: I received a physically bent/damaged knife in the "Damascus Print 15-piece Knife set" (Order #063731).
2. Total Communication Blackout: This is the MAIN issue. I have sent multiple detailed emails to the official customer service address, requesting a simple return address and instructions for the faulty item. I have received ZERO responses. Not even an acknowledgment.
3. Pre-sale Ignorance: Even before the order arrived, my questions about product specifications went unanswered.
This is my official return request. Please, someone from Shinrai Knives, CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY at my email address and provide:
1. The correct warehouse return address.
2. Confirmation that return shipping for this damaged item will be covered by you.
If I do not receive a response via email within the next 5 business days, I will have no choice but to:
1. Initiate a credit card chargeback for a defective, non-returnable product.
2. File a formal complaint with the relevant European Consumer Centre / trading standards body.
3. Update this review to reflect the complete lack of resolution.
I am being honest and constructive: fix your customer service. A great product is meaningless if you abandon the customer the moment something goes wrong.

Non arrival of ordered items to the value of over £100 . Have spoken to Royal Mail as a tracking number had been provided they have told me this must be a scam as the item relating to the tracking number is the weight of an envelope, definitely not my heavy items ordered. I've reached out via email to no response, what a surprise. Do I now have to go the bother of cancelling my payment card too?? You bet I will! Would be interested in a response or even actually receiving the items I have bought and paid for... Over to you Shinrai knives. My daughter is going to be somewhat disappointed when it comes to Christmas I'm afraid. Hoping this review can stop someone else being caught!

My first order seemed to have gone astray but within a couple of days another was dispatched and arrived very quickly. It’s a lovely knife block. Great quality and the magnets work really well and enough room for 10 large knives.

The quality is very good with very reasonable price

Not happy that I had to pay almost the same as the sharpening stone cost to DPD to clear customs before item could be delivered. Too expensive to send back but not a happy customer. 😡
If it had been a knife I may have been more understanding but it was just a piece of stone!!

We have just returned from Japan and was unable to buy a knife set.
These knives are a dream to use !

quality of knives purchased is bad and same knives can be purchased of aliexpress for third of the price.Pictures in description doesn't match actual item received.Don't know about higher priced sets but one purchased is just rebranded cheap Chinese set.would gladly return this for refund but items needs to be sent back to Netherlands or where ever it came from so can't be bothered.

Beautifully crafted razor sharp knives, the best I've ever used. Bought a set of three at a great price and just used the third for the first time today and I would recommend them to anyone!

Ordered the knives, no mention of import fees. They asked me to pay and promised to reimburse me but 8 weeks on and no refund.
Returned the knives and had to chase for the knife refund which I eventually got.
Still no refund for import fees so going legal.
Absolute useless company, would avoid.

Asked for order to be cancelled and refunded, advised the order was still coming. Order lost, so chased up with company on an email trail titled ‘cancel and refund order’ and the person on the other end instead of cancelling and refunding my order reissued it for me despite me no longer wanting the item. Very very frustrating and annoying. Order is still being resent and I’ll have to cover the cost of returning it. Wish I was given the option instead of it being reissued for me. Frustrating.

Excellent quality and detailed information on products.

Good product but very poor delivery experience. I was told to expect delivery one day but the UPS tracker indicated it was still a couple of days away!

Great. The cut is so smooth, precise, clean and effortless it has me falling back in love with food and the cooking I do. I am a head chef of 4 years total and have been a chef for almost 12 years now and this is the best knife I’ve ever used in my whole career I will be purchasing more from your range as they are fantastic. I will update in a year and tell you if the blade is making me feel the same way

Lovely Knives, my Kitchen feels more like a Chef’s Kitchen now which makes me cook more. Now I’ll be gaining weight instead of losing, just kidding! Really, my wife and I are really enjoying our Shinrai collection. Stop thinking and just buy them!!!👏🏻👍🏽

We have had issues with your carrier who have failed to deliver our chopping board. They keep saying they have attempted delivery, but we have been in no effort has been made.

All was good as expected…
