Absolutely love the quality and design of my Shinrai knife. It feels perfectly balanced, very sharp, and makes cooking much more enjoyable. You can really tell great care went into making it. Highly recommended!

The walnut feels so substantial and luxurious, and its nice to know that it's better for my knifes than plastic or most other woods.

I ordered a magnetic knife block and it's perfect. The delivery took a little longer than expected but I only realised later that it's shipped from outside the UK. Nonetheless, it arrived in great condition, looks fab and works exactly as I hoped.

Exactly what I was looking for in a knife, something I could use both at home or in work and a brilliant edition to my already growing collection. Will 100% back to buy another, also loved the way they give you a plaster with your knife!...never seen this before

I can’t comment on the knife itself because I still haven’t received it. However, I can say that both the customer service and the shipping have been terrible.

Update: I’ve received the knife, but it doesn’t look like it does in the pictures. In reality, it resembles an average IKEA knife. I placed the order on 23.02 (the listing stated fast delivery within 1–3 days), and it only arrived today, 4.03. I just hope it’s actually made of VG-10 steel, as advertised, because it doesn’t appear to be — though I’m not a metallurgist.

The experience with this company was very good first class service very quick the knife is made really lovely. The only small thing I would’ve liked was some Japanese stamping which I do like not Justin etched name. But still beautiful Knife. And the only thing is when you buy Knife from the Netherlands if you live in the UK you do get hit where they import charge which for me was £17.30 which was a bit annoying but the Knife is worth it. I would recommend this company to anybody looking for these type types of knives they are finished really lovely.

I asked my daughter what she wanted for her birthday and she said 'a chopping board'. Well, I thought I'd better make it a special one then! After a bit of searching, I found this one and she was very pleased with it. Very nicely presented in its box and fits in her kitchen nicely. A bit of a problem with delivery but it was the courier companies fault. Shinrai sent out another at no extra cost which arrived promptly

Misled by using the word 'print' instead of 'not genuine' These are not Damascus steel knives. £150 is a lot for these. Came in huge packing boxes and the return costs have to be paid for by you. I tried to cancel my order but was told it was already shipped. I can't help having doubts that it had been. I couldn't be bothered with the expense and hassle of trying to return them which I guess is what they hoped for. Now just an expensive ornament which I don't want to use

Easy to find the product I wanted ( a double-sided magnetic knife board in wood). I liked the look of it and when it arrived I was not disappointed at all.
It seems very good quality and looks good on our worktop.
