Bought from dutch company (kookgigant), was received in a white box that is significantly less decorative vs black box advertised.
The etch is significantly lighter than advertised and you really need to angle the blade to see it well. So do not expect the same or similar as shown on photos.
The knife is sharp and abit blade heavy on balance but think that is normal on this type of knife.
My initial look at the knife vs shown images felt disappointing as you need to angle the knife to even see the pattern vs shown images. I am no expert but will try a couple more tests to confirm, will update review if the knife impresses me.
As far as i can tell it seems to be real and not etched on so happy with the knife even if not as advertised. I would advise them to reach out to suppliers to update their marketing photos.

The knife is beautiful. Perfectly balanced and incredibly sharp. I ordered it as a last minute Xmas gift to myself and I couldn’t be happier. I loved it so much I made a custom sheath for it the next day.

Brilliant customer service, beautiful knife
The customer service was absolutely brilliant, the knife i ordered unfortunately got stolen, all I had was a message from UPS telling me the package had been opened and the item.had gone, I didn't know what to do, UPS are impossible to get hold of so I sent an email to the company I purchased the knife from and without any question Lara immediately sent me a replacement, the order was put through immediately and I received my purchase a few days later. The knife is brilliant and has helped me greatly with my chopping, which is just what I needed.

Knife is excellent
Knife is excellent. Only thing to be aware of is in uk you get hit with import fee, however after contacting customer service they refunded the money.
But knife is good value.

Very, very shiny silver
Knives seem good quality although the blades are far more shiny silver (blingy) than they appear in the images. We also purchased a magnetic knive block which is great, would have preferred the blades not to be so shiny.
