As usual, online trade as POA didn't work but telephone assistance was excellent. Didn't mind having to call me back as our trade was interrupted by our heating oil being delivered, which I had to deal with at our home. Picked up where we left off without any difficulty. Very helpful assistant - most appreciated.

DELAYED/ Incompetent SERVICE
Sent a duly signed LOI on Thur with tracked delivery, Fri documents have arrived at GATWICK mail centre. Monday i called Equiniti in regards to progress. Staff said they haven't received docs. Called ROYAL MAIL & they said its a contract that EQUINITI is supposed to collect it from GATWICK MAIL CENTRE. Absolutely shocked me, it is Tuesday now & 0% progress in terms of LOI.

Trying to login
had about 6/7 goes with 3 different Staff to log in over a 2-week period they all struggled but got there in end all polite and friendly . More than i cab say for the system they use, but all good in the end

Slow service
Left between a rock and a hard place. Shareview tell me my certificate is valid but the when trying to deposit it I'm told it is invalid. It was suggested I take a photocopy and post it to Shareview HQ - how in this day and age they can't do this online or give me a letter or some form of validation to give to my share providor I dont know. Spent an hour online chatting!

Extremely disappointing service and unacceptable pension delays
My experience with Equiniti has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. My pension was due to begin in March 2026, yet as of 20 July 2026 I have still received no payments due to what I have been told was an administrative mistake.
The most concerning part has been the lack of urgency and the very poor communication throughout this entire process. Despite repeated enquiries, I have received little meaningful action or clear information. The people I speak to appear limited to simply following up on calls, with no real ability to resolve the issue. Too often, conversations feel focused on offering reassurance and trying to calm the situation rather than actually fixing the problem.
A pension payment is not a minor administrative matter — it is money that people rely on. A delay of this length, caused by an internal error, should have been treated as a priority. Instead, I have been left waiting, chasing updates, and receiving no satisfactory resolution.
The level of service, communication, and accountability shown by Equiniti has been completely unacceptable. I would strongly urge the company to review its processes and take responsibility for the impact these failures have on customers.

The lady who dellt with me was good, but the faffing about I've had to go through to still trying to get into my portfolio is rubbish......For example, I now have to restart my getting in and send in all the same stuff that I have sent in and has been accepted. I've been phoning your numbers for the past month trying to get in. Rubbish.
