I have been trying for many months to gain access to my stock trading portfolio: Shareview, Equiniti, Aberdeen.
To verify my identity I must take some pictures of myself. The system does not allow that. I have tried many many times but I have not succeeded to have my identity verified. There is no route for help with LexisNexis: they only referred me to a help phone at Shareview, where are the operators do not have the ability to help with this. I have left a similar review for LexisNexis, with no response. In June I had finally received confirmation that all my information was submitted to LexisNexis. But login attempts are still stopped for lack of identity Recently I have tried the link to this again with the website promises to send me a verification code to start the process - it did not come on 3 attempts. `
Reply to Shareview response: the response is totally unhelpful. This is the same issue that had come up with previous customers: a response that promised to check the problem, but this was obviously not done. It looks like a response done by a bot, not a person. This is the same problem I indicated in my letter in January. I do not see any planned solution, nor any way to access my account. My review of many share responses so that the problems persist and promises to improve are not followed.
Please reply with a solution :
1. What is my next step to gain access?
2. Exactly why am I locked out, even after LexisNexis confirmed receipt of my information?
3.Is there another route to solve problem? I have spent time on transatlantic phone calls, with no help.
3. Is there any email contact I could use to troubleshoot this issue?
4. My identity had been confirmed in a previous account and is already in your records. Those shares were moved to this new account. Why was my identity verification was not moved with the shares?

Decided to register for the online account management and I was a bit late paying in one dividend and used the customer chat and Lucy was very helpful and re-issuing my unclaimed dividend.
I also decided to get dividends paid directly to my bank but was a little confused with the SOF check - if I had to provide extra details etc - but no it's their internal checks money laundering etc basic checks to see if details match - and I will sign up for that also.

I dealt with a chatbot at first with my query, I was then put through to an actual assistant called Lucy, she was both patient and helpful towards my enquiry.
I’m certainly not the easiest person to deal with and had a convoluted query that needed sorting.
She managed to help me with her patience and knowledge.

In this day and age of internet banking / mobile banking, it feels very antiquated that it’s so hard to get the standing order details to be able to make payments - I left the company on 30 June and the letter was dated 8 July but I didn’t receive it until 18 July which I responded to immediately but I’ve missed the 20 July deadline already for August 1st payment and have to wait upto 10 days for the details - seems ridiculous

I have to say i dont find much to admire about Equiniti. The dealing charges are grossly excessive among other issues. The Chat Bot is grimly poor. Today the site has been unavailable for the best part of 10 hours so far due to maintenance, which is fine, but cant the Company just go that bit further, like other companies, and indicate when it will be back on line

Excellent website, the easiest page I have used to change my address. I wish all sites were as easy as this one.

They came back to me very fast and was able to answer what my query was instantly

I approached the chat with almost impossible situation and was a bit frustrated at first that the agent was just quoting policies, but in the end was able to offer a solution and handed me over to another agent so my experience is leaving hopefull that my situation is not a dead-end.
