March 20 Update-
I did not receive a response to my request for a replacement frame despite being assured I would hear back this past week and sending a reminder email. We are well past a month of back and forth with long gaps in between. It is riding season and I would have built another bike if I had known this would not have materialized in time for an upcoming trip to Utah next week.
March 13 Update-
Customer service offered cash settlement and I dispose of frame(distance too great to ship economically). I have asked for a replacement frame.
March 10 Update-
Finally received email from customer service stating, “We changed our cusotmer contact system a few weeks ago”. They requested documentation, pictures, etc. again after already saying it was received nearly 1 month ago. I sent info again and will post any relevant updates.

Original Post-
I would have given this company 5 stars before they just stopped returning my emails. It has been nearly 4 weeks since I heard from Customer Service regarding my broken frame. The last communication received was, “ I'm on with our supplier and will come back to you as soon as possible.” February 13, 2026. 4 emails have been sent since receiving that and no reply.
I will revise this review when we reach a resolution on this Lifetime Warranty frame.

One of my products was faulty or not greatly made but honestly for the cost I don’t feel I have a right to complain.

Helpful lads to swap out the handlebar with one not listed in the options. Legend.

I've had quite a few planet X bikes and I've always been happy with them. Great value for money and really capable bikes. The build and shipping was super quick and a quick spec change was sorted for me.

First of all, the ordering process was a breeze, and communication from Tom was first class. the Courier company were great.

The bike itself is top draw (for me), the build was straightforward and first ride out was astounding.

The downsides were the 2 month wait, despite the "expected dispatch" time of 14 days, and all of the frame mount bolts were loose. if I hadn't checked they would have probably shook loose and fell off on the first ride!
But all in all, I am very pleased with my bike, for the price point I don't think it could be beaten and if I was in the market for another bike I think I would use them again.

I recently order some cycling shoes and ordered extra pairs as I was unsure on size. These came super quick and then the refund was processed timely. Specifically Ben was brilliant with supporting me! Will definitely use again and recommend to others.

I recently purchased some winter road boots form Planet X. There was a slight issue with one of the boots, not enough to return the boots but maybe just to have a spare part sent out to me.

All I can say is that Tom went over and above in terms of customer service to ensure that the item I purchased had the fault rectified (further than I would have expected).

Based on this experience, I will be using Planet X again in the future

The process of exploring the website and getting my bike was seamless, complemented by outstanding updates on the build timeline. As for the bike, I'm overjoyed with it!

Hard to beat for layering and a good price.

Although I make my purchases when there is a sale or special offers the components/clothing/shoes I have ordered are all excellent. The orders are fulfilled quickly, efficiently and all queries dealt without delay and politely.
The only problem I have had is with delivery company.
My recent purchase was excellent using Yodal.

Planet X generally responds promptly and does their best to answer questions thoroughly. At times, responses can be a bit short, but overall they’re very helpful and make an effort to address concerns even when they are very busy.

Bought 4 pairs of merino wool socks for a Tenner .Secret Santa present for a mate he’s going to be well impressed and think I spent a fortune.Nice

I always get great service from Planet X . My latest order was 2 Carnac short sleeved base layers which are keeping me snug and warm this winter . The fit is superb and the quality is great for the price. You always get good communications from them with tracking information.
As for their returns policy , i wouldn't know , as i've never been unhappy with anything from them . I've had bike parts , tools and clothing from them over the years and ALL of it is still going strong ! KEEP IT UP !

I bought a pair of Carnac Arcus Evo Waterproof Overshoes.
Good value at £14.99.
I ordered Large as I have size 44 shoes.
However they are a very small fit and impossible to put over my shoes.
The customer pays the return postage.
It's not possible to exchange for a larger size. Instead a credit is issued and you must re order. The postage is £4.99
The sizing chart on the Planet X website isn't accurate for these overshoes.
Make sure to order two sizes larger than you normally use.
