bought a U7H tv

bought a U7H tv, tv works but remote funtions when it wants. called hisense, they refuse to help, claiming that I cant provide them a receipt. bought this thing at costco.com so no, I dont have a paper printout from a register! I PDF'ed what I had they keep saying its not good enough. thank goodness costco has a customer service dept. if they cant help this POS is going to the nearest costco for a refund.

Don't buy a Toshiba TV - customer service/management is horrible

I had a Toshiba FireTV that the internal panel blew out on. It was within the original warranty period. After a month of requests for a warranty call - the Field Tech came out and destroyed the tv - and then took it with him. I still have no replacement or refund for my warrantied tv and have yet to have anyone from Toshiba/Hisense contact me. When requesting to speak with managment - I get a run-around and always "you will be contacted by management within 24 hours to resolve your issue." This has been for 3 weeks now and no contact from anyone at the company. I will NEVER again purchase a Toshiba or Hisense product and recommend that no one else does either if you want a solid product and an honest company.

Elderly Abuse and Harassment of an 83 yr. old Woman!!!

My 83-year-old mother purchased a Hisense refrigerator from Lowes, NC on Aug. 14th!! On Aug. 16th the refrigerator would not stay cool at the manufactures recommended temp. of 40 degrees! When a thermometer was place inside the refrigerator the temperature read 49degree's! There was water build up due to condensation and bugs were flying around in the refrigerator. She contacted Lowes who told her to contact Hisense! Hisense refuse to replace or refund the cost of the refrigerator instead they insisted on repairing a the brand-new refrigerator! Hisense continued to give us the run around for the past two weeks! Every time we called them, they keep telling us it's a 48hr. management review! They constantly apologize and say we understand. If was the case, then why haven't Hisense resolved the issue! My mother had to throw away over $300 plus worth of groceries! I consider this Harassment as well as elderly abuse!!

DO NOT BUY A HISENSE FREEZER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

I bought my Hisense freezer in December of 2020. I picked it up on December 4, 2020. Stupid me, I thought that it would last more than a year and half. So, I didn't buy the protection plan. After all, it didn't cost much but you do get what you pay for. Last Friday, on August 5, 2022, it stopped working completely. So, I called Hisense. I know how to repair appliances. Well, they considered it old and couldn't find the parts list. Old at a year and a half? They still sell this at Lowe's. So, I couldn't repair it. They were supposedly looking for the parts list but I checked back today, one week later, and they had closed my ticket. Wow! They really don't care do they?

Then, it is not tight at all. It leaked all over my floor everyday for a week. And I kept putting lots of ice in it but it would melt in a day. No insulation. Why would you want insulation in a freezer?

So, I advise you not to buy a Hisense freezer. Instead, find a nice Frigidaire. That's what I am replacing mine with. They state that if their freezers fail, the food will stay frozen for 48 hours. What a concept, huh? An actual airtight freezer. I will bet that they even have insulation inside of them. And it didn't even cost me much more. Live and learn. Go Frigidaire. Stay away from Hisense.

2 of 3 Portable AC Units Failed in 4 years.

I have purchased 3 of the most expensive HiSense Portable Air Conditioners over the past 4 years. Over this timeframe, 2 of the units just stopped cooling. Fortunately, 1 of the units was replaced under warranty in the 2nd year. Another 1 just stopped cooling now in it's 3rd year and this is the least used unit in my house! I tried working with their customer service team but they told me they could not do anything because it was past it's 2 year warranty. They were also not willing to work with me or escalate my issue any further. I would absolutely welcome someone with authority from HiSense to contact me to discuss and I would be happy to amend this review if they show some good faith. BTW, I am in the market for 2 to 3 more AC's for another house. Won't be HiSense.

DO NOT buy a Hisense product - learn from the rest of us

Why didn't I read these reviews before I bought my refrigerator? I could have saved myself a couple of thousand dollars.

Like another reviewer, I wish we were allowed to get negative stars in these reviews. I would absolutely do so.

My fridge has not worked for a year now. I have called NUMEROUS times to get Customer Service to assist. They either hang up on you, put you on hold indefinitely (and then hang up) or give you the run-around.

I cannot even begin to tell you how ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS the refrigerator AND Hisense's Customer Service is.

I have told everyone I know to steer clear of them. And, it appears I'm in the majority, as pretty much every review here says the same.

I don't know how this company survives with the lack of quality and service they provide.

I wish I'd never heard of Hisense - and will continue to tell everyone I know of my experience, so they don't make the same mistake I did.

BEWARE and SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Lasts about 2 years

Lasts about 2 years. Really disappointed with this product. Bought it because it was “affordable”. Learned my lesson. Won’t turn on anymore and Hisense manufacturer was no help after a year. Spend the money on a better quality television. KEEP THE RECEIPT

I would give it a zero, but...
Bought a Hisense refrigerator. Powered on but never cooled. Started calling them within 24hrs of plugging it in.... then had 8 weeks of stonewalling and gaslighting from them until they said "We don't cover that. Call the store." By then, the store warranty had expired (30 days for large appliances.) Even the store called Hisense and had the same experience. The store made an exception and refunded my money. Will NEVER buy from Hisense again.

First and last time buying Hisense…

First and last time buying Hisense products!
Bought a Hisense 60” UHD 4K android TV . I don’t use that much as one a week and regretted for no keeping the box .
No matter how cheap you can find but don’t buy it .
YouTube playing and repeating the same video by itself or sometimes sound only not image . Google chrome cast build in never could connect. And can’t even use the HDMI or Optical as audio output .

Don't buy Hisense 50 Roku 4K UHD Smart…

I bought Hisense 50 Roku 4K UHD Smart TV had to return it next day, picture was bad. Exchanged for another same TV. Now 10 months later it is broken. Won't power up or turn on. You think this is good buy for the $ but it won't last long. Take this $ plus another $100. and buy a better quality TV. One that will last 5-7 years, not less then 12 months. DON'T BUY THIS TV.

I just don't get it , this was a huge splurge for us. Everytime I turn it on, I have to reconnect it to the internet.90% of the time the error message says the internet is not available. That's odd ( I had to purchase a firestik) it always has an internet connection. I've read blogs online I've done everything they tell me to do and it still does it. Spend the extra money and get you another brand avoid this one

I purchased Hisense 7020 Dehumidifier…

I purchased Hisense 7020 Dehumidifier from Costco and quickly found out that it is defective. It included a label stating to not return the product and instead call their support. Hisense tech support said the product was defective and they will exchange it. They asked me to send the photo of serial number and cut the power cord. That sounded weird so I asked them few times why to cut the power cord but they just said it's their policy for exchange. So after I cut the cable and send them all photos a week later they told me they cannot accept the exchange because the product name on Costco receipt was not accurate and now I need to go back to Costco to return it. Of course Costco will not take it back with the cord cut so the only solution is to put it in trash and get a product from another company. It seems like a systemic scam to rip people off with the service, so if you come across this please be aware to not cut the cord and just return this junk to your seller.

BEWARE

We bought a 55" Hisense H9F TV from Walmart. A label on the outside of the box and the internal documentation say to grip the TV by its edges to lift it out of the box. However, the plastic bag the TV came wrapped in says to lift the TV out of the box using the holes cut in the plastic bag. Confused, I contacted Hisense support asking for clarification regarding the contradictory unboxing instructions. A week later I received an email from Hisense USA saying, "Unfortunately we do not assist with the unboxing process for this unit." Concerned the flimsy plastic bag would rip, my wife and I opted to follow the instructions printed on the box and internal documentation and lifted the TV out of the box by griping the edges with one hand and while supporting the bottom of the TV with the other. When we plugged the TV in, we discovered the screen was cracked along the edge where we gripped the TV to lift it out of the box. I contacted Walmart who told us to contact Hisense USA to have the TV replaced or repaired. Per Hisense USA's instructions, we filed a warranty claim that was rejected on the basis the TV was damaged during shipping and not covered under warranty. When I explained that my wife and I damaged the TV during unboxing because of the contradictory unboxing instructions and because of Hisense's refusal to provide unboxing assistance, Hisense USA continued to refuse our warranty claim. I later discovered the instructions printed on the box and internal documentation are for a TV with a bezel. Because the H9F has a "bezel-less" design, these instructions do not apply to the H9F and are therefore in error. Ergo, when we lifted the TV by the edges, as the instructions say to do, we were actually pressing on the screen which caused it to to crack. After discovering the instructions printed on the box and internal document are in error, I served Hisense USA with written notice of my intent to file a class-action lawsuit regarding the erroneous unboxing instructions and Hisense's refusal to provide unboxing support. In response to my legal notice, Hisense USA offered to refund our money, but only if we signed a confidentiality agreement promising not to discuss the erroneous unboxing instructions and Hisense USA's refusal to provide support with unboxing the TV. We refused Hisense USA's attempt to muzzle us and are now left with a worthless $650 55" Hisense H9F TV that Hisense admits cannot be repaired and that Hisense USA refuses to replace unless we agree to keep their erroneous unboxing instructions and poor customer support a secret.

SAVE YOUR $$$ !!! Don’t buy Hisense

I bought a 65 inch Hisense TV on Amazon in January of this year and two weeks ago it started turning itself off periodically and the brightness of the picture dimmed. I called and gave them the serial/model number and manufacture date which was August 2017 and the terrible customer service rep said without a receipt they could not help and that I’m on my own. I think a tv should last much longer than that. I feel I was robbed and stuck with a piece of junk I can’t afford to fix.
