Ordered 2 bags compost and 2 bags mulch. Received 4 bags of poorly stacked council waste compost or similar on rotten pallets. Full of plastics, stones and even glass. All 4 totally identical. Completely misdescribed. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Disappointing..
Placed an order for four bags of topsoil. Specified delivery date and then waited and waited.... after more waiting for the delivery to turn up - I phoned them. This was 4.30pm in the afternoon to be told that 'they had a problem with my delivery'. No notification, no phone call to say there was going to be an issue after I took a day off work and waited all day. When the delivery was made a week later - the bags were stacked two high making them VERY unstable. We had to assist the delivery driver to steady the bags otherwise the soil would have been all over the drive. Advise to try and find a reliable local supplier and avoid Topsoil.co.uk

They're just bad. There customer service has no answers for missed deliveries, they say they have no knowledge as Head Office deal with it all.

To save everyone hassle, the TopCo is Rolawns, so just ring them. But the experience with them is equally poor and have left an equally negative review of them.

Go elsewhere, you'll get missed delivery dates and wasted time.

All day delivery slot was given, which wasn’t an issue. Received a more precise time on the day, soil arrived 4 hours after this slot. Ordered two pallets of top soil. Driver left one pallet of soil in the middle of the footpath, sat in his van vaping for 20 minutes and then took a photo on his phone and left with one pallet still on his van. Didn’t speak to us to let us know that he was taking one pallet back to warehouse, he just signed the delivery as ‘one to go’. Rang Topsoil.co.uk and they were absolutely no help, just said that the driver would’ve tried to get it on the drive (dropped curb and solid surface to deliver on). Next morning a different driver turned up with my remaining delivery and when I told him that they couldn’t put it on the drive the previous day, he pulled a face and said of course he could’ve. He unloaded the pallet onto my drive way within minutes and was a lovely gentleman. When unloading the soil for our project we found numerous amounts of rubbish and litter including cans and wrappers mixed in. Wouldn’t order from them again. Their only saving grace was the lovely second delivery driver.

Terrible - order date given but totally ignored, second date given - also failed to deliver. Wish we had read these reviews - avoid!!

Terrible! Rang on delivery day (Friday) to confirm my order to be told ‘it hadn’t been put in the system’ and would now be delivery Wednesday. No good to me as my I needed it for my weekend project.
Order cancelled.

Their job is literally to deliver soil and they couldn’t even manage it.

Absolutely terrible customer service. We have twice been given a time between 8am and 6pm for the soil to be delivered so have had to take annual leave from work to wait at home for it, only to be told towards the end of the day that it won't be delivered that day. The lady on the phone seemed unconcerned rather than apologetic. We told her to cancel our order and give us a refund.

Worst company ever! Twice my order has been delayed. Waited all day for it to arrive, called at 9am and was told it would arrive that day but no ETA. Received a call at 4:15pm telling me it wasn't coming. Twice this has happened now. Never using or recommending this company again.

No communication. The turf I ordered did not arrive on the day confirmed despite their office telling it me it would. They claimed it would still be in good condition the following day but I disagreed & decided to cancel the order - which cost me £30.

Ordered 70 rolls of turf to be delivered on a Friday, called throughout the day to make sure it was arriving and noone could get hold of the driver or call me back with an eta. Didn't arrive so I was promised sat delivery between 8-12, again didnt arrive, as its a perishable item it would have been ruined, still haven't recieved anything but happily took my money and still hasn't been resolved. Awful customer service in all departments endless promises for things that never happened. Had people waiting to lay the turf that I had to pay for wasting their time for 2 days to now be without the product or money or a response. Avoid like the plague

Soil delivered on correct date and during suggested time period. However simply dumped on kerbside despite request to be placed in secure area access on flat hard surface. That unwillingness to fulfil that request created massive inconvenience. Despite calling no explanation given. Means I won't use this company again and would suggest others do not unless you are up for spending hours having to move soil yourself.

Ordered x2 bags of topsoil for delivery last Thursday. Customer service rang at the end of the day to say sorry it can't be delivered, will rearrange for next week. Rang this morning for an update, they assured me it was out for delivery today. Chased customer service end of day who said delivery failed - no chance as I was in all day and had no contact from driver. Apparently rearranged again for tomorrow but not holding out hope. Rubbish company and service.

Did not deliver on the day agreed, called at 3pm on the delivery date and advised they delivered up to 6.00pm so waited until 5.45pm and called again to be told the driver was sick!! I have wasted a working day waiting for delivery and expect a torrid time getting refunded, I cannot recommend this shoddy service one bit

Ordered from them before. Everything was fine.
Ordered a twin sack of top soil. Didn’t arrive. Contacted the office. They assured me it was out for delivery on the given date. Still didn’t show. Asked for a refund. Took £30 from my order just because they could. Said it wasn’t their fault. Useless company.

Don’t bother.
Ordered online, took my money, sent me a confirmation number then nothing arrived, when called couldn’t find the order, said will get it in 2days, transport would call to confirm, nothing! Called and after again not being able to see my order they said another day later - cancelled and told the refund would be 5-10days.
Spend your money elsewhere

Ordered 4t of 8mm screened topsoil didn’t look to bad when tipped but when I tried to put a 25mm layer over the lawn I have racked out about 1t of large stones using a rake with 13mm gaps very disappointed I definitely won’t be ordering from them again

Two bags of topsoil due to be delivered today and haven't arrived...no communication at all.

Excellent quality soil delivered next day direct to where I needed it.

Dead mouldy turf. The first of the three palette of turf was completely dead and mouldy however topsoil will not replace or refund as they say i should have informed them with in 24 hours. The topsoil i ordered from them contained quite a few large stones, though atleast these were simple to rake out. I definitely would NOT use again, but if you do, make sure you take photos and email any issues immediately....not so easy when the delivery is late in the day, and as topsoil state on their site,you should not arrange a landscaper to lay the turf untill the items have been delivered...how does that all work then !?!?! Anyway, Good luck !
