Really easy to deal with, very helpful and everything was clearly laid out on quotes and invoice

The electrician that came and fitted in my Easee Charger was Steven, he was very professional and friendly.

He answered all my questions without hesitation and showed real knowledge of the product he was installing.

Would 100% recommend

From order to installation was only 4 weeks and the work was carried out neatly and efficiently. The route from our consumer unit to the charging point wasn't the easiest but it wasn't a problem for the team. Very satisfied with the work, just waiting for my car to be delivered!

Smarter Utility arrived on time as promised and the installer was super helpful and very efficient. He quickly and quietly went about the installation and took his time to show me what he had done and clearly explained everything to me. He also registered all of the devices on the myEnergy App which is excellent. Well done!

Polite and helpful service but required all the money up front, and had to fit over two days as they did not give the installer enough time to do it in one - luckily I work from home, but could be very inconvenient for others. They also turned up with wrong cable, and little information had been given to the installer about what I was looking for, even though an installer had been out to give me a quote. A little disappointing given all the glowing reviews.

Absolute dream to deal with, nothing was too much trouble! I dealt with David who helped me from getting the right charger to getting the full grant.

The administration and installation were both very efficient. The installer of our unit was Stuart. He did a very neat job, suggesting a much better wiring route in order for it to be as unobtrusive as possible. He was also very tidy and went through the display options very helpfully. Delighted with the service all round.

The company were easy to deal with and came up with an installation option that kept the disruption in my house to a minimum.
The reason I have not given 5 stars is because they wanted payment up front, by bank transfer, prior to the work being carried out. Great for them, but as the customer this leaves me with very little protection if something goes wrong. I found this out a couple days before the installation was supposed to be carried out.

Fantastic installation. Although wrong colour unit had arrived they fitted it and came back to replace the cover once the new one had arrived.

Electrician arrived on day as arranged and had the whole installation of my electrical charge point finished within 90 minutes. Efficient and polite.

The service was very professional from start to finish. Dave and the team are very knowledgeable and were able to answer all our questions and provide advice where necessary. The installer arrived on time (actually slightly early) and did a very nice job of the installation, and most importantly it was just as we wanted it. He even tidied up after himself so extra points for that. Everyone from first inquiry to end of install were very friendly and the service was prompt. We have recommended them to friends already who have also been impressed.

Excellent and positive attitude throughout. Four other companies told me my installation was too complicated and non-standard for them to do, Podpoint even refunded my money saying they weren’t up to it, but Smarter Utility solved it in just a few hours! In addition, despite falling on ice and injuring his arm half way through, our technician finished the job to an excellent standard without complaint.
I really couldn’t fault the service.

I had the OHME EV charger installed, Excellent, fast and friendly service, engineer turned up on time, he was polite, safety conscious, professional and very tidy, (didn’t even stop to drink the cuppa tea I made him) would hardly notice any change in the meter cupboard and cables neatly hidden away, and if that wasn’t good enough… I received all the completed paperwork/certificates within hours of the installation completion ! Great Old fashioned quality service from start to finish! I only wish more companies (especially Polestar ! 🙄) could provide service as efficiently as Smarter Utility, and Octopus Energy 👍

I contacted 4 local companies to quote me on a new home charging point for the electric car I had just ordered. First to get back to me was Smarter Utility Ltd.
David, one of the Directors from the company came out and did a site visit. I was able to ask him face to face all the questions I had about the different types of products. The next day he emailed me a concise quotation. The other companies eventually got back to me but had me do all the work by sending them photos of the house layout, supply outlet, site of EV point. They eventually got back with prices. By this time I had already made up my mind I was going with Smarter Utilities. Stuart the electrician phoned me 30 minutes before he was due to arrive and confirmed he would be there on time. He was great and explained everything to me. A short time later he was clearing up with my new EV point fitted. I am a fussy guy but this company is the best and the price was good as well. I would highly recommend Smarter Utilities.
