Everything was smooth and the team is friendly and professional. After service is excellent as well. I had a minor issue which ultimately I fixed it myself but the team at Smarter Utilities has been very responsive and attentive. So would definitely use them again for my other installation.

We needed an installation before the change in the rules relating to EV charge point grants i.e. their virtual abolition(!). The charger was installed in time and the grant paperwork completed promptly. The office staff were very helpful at (re)arranging appointments for installation (our fault). The installation needed 2 visits (the fuse box was older than expected) after which we were able to use the charger. A third visit was needed to sort the connection of the charger to our wifi, which took place after 8pm one evening. This shows how conscientious the team are.
The team did seem really busy when they were installing the charge point - which isn't surprising at all given that it was 4 days before the grant deadline. We had to clean up the dust and dispose of the component packaging after they left. The installation team were very frustrated at not being able to connect the charger to the wifi - it took the supervisor 10 mins to sort it out when he came.

I wanted to say what a great job Smarter Utility did installing my Tesla charger.
From ordering it, queries I had regarding the technology, to the installation process Smarter Utility were efficient, friendly and informative. A special mention to Jack who installed my charger with great care for my property and surroundings. I would highly recommend this company.

Extremely satisfied with Smarter Utility (couldn’t be happier). I had been getting quotes from local companies to fit an EV charger and all were expensive. Other firms either had no availability (due to the closing grant window) or were overnight pricing the job. My energy supplier put me in contact with Smarter Utility and I couldn’t have been happier with the service and communication. Shelby helped to plan all the arrangements with a remote survey done by me. Jack the engineer was very professional and installed a really neat set up, tidied up after all the drilling was done and commissioned the unit for me. My original layout wasn’t feasible as the electricity board hadn’t installed an isolated so Smarter Utility were able to help me change the plan and layout so we could get the install completed. I had some technical queries after the day and Jack popped back in to answer them. I just wish I had the space to ask them back to fit solar, batteries etc.

EV Indra home charger fitting was organised by ChargedEV but work undertaken by Smarter Utility Ltd and what an excellent job was made. Very professional, no fuss neat installation with everything explained and app set up on iPhone. Very pleased.

Smarter Utility came well recommended and had a good rating, however I was a little bit hesitant because I had never used them before but have nothing but praise for the service they provided. The company was generally very helpful, particularly in communications. However, it was difficult to work out from the website which was the best product for our needs. There was no consultation before ordering. This led to our almost installing the wrong charger, but for the advice from the solar panel electrician from another company who was at our house at the same time, who advised on the right product. The company's installer was very helpful and arranged for the right charger to be installed. Unfortunately, the second installer hadn't been been briefed about the changed order. Luckily he had the correct charger in his van. We got there in the end and the job was well done.

After contacting around 15 EV charging point installers, Smarter Utility were the only ones who were able to fit before the grant ended. They were very easy to do business with, communication was also very good. On the day of installation, they suggested a neater and tidier way to route the cable, despite it being harder for them to do. Fast and efficient, I would definitely recommend them.

From the initial consult to installation a very professional service. The final product looks great and very discreetly placed. Our install wasn't easy as not an ideal place to put the charger but talked through options well and found a good place to site this. It was very difficult to find any companies to install in our area so glad we found this company and would highly recommend.

Initial consultation was great, talked through the choice of charger units and suggested best fit for our circumstances.

Helping advice on applying for grant funding and installation was arranged shortly after.

Installation was straight forward and no fuss. Some issues with the unit being configured however this was quickly sorted.
