Incredible: top service!

DLG Peterborough are nothing short of incredible. I have never experienced such great service, efficiency and good people in auto. From Jackie in reception to the standard of mechanical team, and the delivery guys, this is the very best you can get. Thank you so much!

Great Service and Great Comms

I had minor damage to the offside rear panel and and bumper. DLG were great with Comms, collected the car, discussed the work to be undertaken on the phone, repair was really well done and car returned the following day. All in all, very pleased with the service

This is my third time to have my car…

This is my third time to have my car fixed in this shop. My first two was excellent service only this time the receptionist didn't give me enough time to have the courtesy car return in how they want it (cleaned and fuelled up to the level they delivered the car to me). She called me to say my car's done and they need the courtesy car back before 4:45pm. They usually call or email a day before to give me time. This time she called me few hours before I need to return the car bearing in mind, I was at work till 3pm. I managed to have the car fuelled but not cleaned due to not having enough time. But the repair's excellent just the above issue.

Great job on the car. Not so great in scheduling collection.

They did a wonderful job and were very nice to deal with. They also cleaned the car before returning it. However, after getting my collection date and an e-mail confirming they would come for the car in the morning they didn’t turn up until after 1pm. I waited home all morning and by the time they came I’d had to go out to the appointment I had deliberately booked for the afternoon so I could accommodate them. Very annoying and very disruptive to my day.

Professional & outstanding customer service.

Professional, well organised and friendly service. Collected my vehicle at a time convenient to me, kept me fully informed and arranged delivery back to me when finished. Car was spotlessly clean & polished. Highly recommended - They go above and beyond. Thankyou to everyone in the team.

March 2026 update.

After waiting three months, i was told that my repair was complete, the hire car my insurance company provided me with was collected and a few days later DLG contacted me to arrange the return of my vehicle,
On return of my car before allowing them to drop it off i checked the underneath of my car only to find that they had refitted damaged parts to my car, they also failed to fit other parts which should have been on the car.
I refused to accept the vehicle and sent it back.
I was contacted to say that the damaged parts were on back order and that they would return my car to me and once available they would collect and fit them to my vehicle.
I said they could, but i was not prepared to pay my excess until the repair had been completed in full, they refused, so i told them to contact me when the repairs were completed.
Guess what I’m still waiting, and I’ve not been provided with a courtesy car!!!!
March 2026 update……
Nearly four months now and i still haven’t had my car back, DLG still haven’t even bothered to contact me with an update on when i can expect my car to be repaired.
Good luck to anyone else that is expecting a repair from this company, absolute joke.
If you do have a repair done by this company please check that any repairs are done correctly as they may refit damaged parts to your car as they attempted to do with me!!!!!

Took far too long to fix the issue

Took far too long to fix the issue. Communication was good to start with but started fading away at back end of the repair. Issues with parts, engineer - just different reasons every week. Have to say - all the staff were polite everytime I spoke and did try to find out the details.

Repairs following accident carried out very satisfactorily but took an excessive length of time(2 1/2 months. Your parts supplier needs to get his act together. Communication is with repairer was very good

Appalling communication

Appalling communication, one day the parts are in and repairs will be finished on time, next day still waiting for parts & no ETA, day after parts will be available by the end on following week. 2 days later parts are in car ready on Tuesday or Thursday. Wednesday, message to say parts are not in, no ETA. Thursday a call to say car will be ready on Friday. Friday morning a call to say it will be delivered between 1&5, they turn up at 11:30 and the driver was rude to my son and him he had spoken to me to say he would be early. That wasn't the case as I don't finish work until 12:30. Broken parts were left in the boot. Poor experience from start to finish

Shocking customer service and putting the wrong part on my car.

Dlg at Castle Donington had my car for 2 months end of last year following an accident. When I got my car back it was obvious they had blatantly put the wrong part on my bumper. A part for a petrol car onto my electric car!!! I was initially told it would be a 10 minute job while I waited to sort it then to be told they would need it for the day and couldn’t get me in for 2 months!! I’ve had to drive around with the wrong part exposing the underguard. I have finally got my car back after they had it for 2 days fixing their mistake. I have been fobbed off and lied too on several occasions by this company, the customer service has been shocking and it’s even more shocking that they initially passed my car through the quality control checks with blatantly the wrong part on it!!!

Incompetent crooks thieves

In my past I ve dealt with many dodgy garages but this place beats them by a mile . They are a bunch of incompetent crooks. I had to take my car 3 times (took them a month and half)to fix wat was supposed to be a minor job. And they did such a great job that after 3 months marks started to appear. I realised that they are a bunch of thieves when I asked the price of repairs and job done.(I found in the end from my insurance over 4200£) also instead to replace the damaged wheel they decided to repair it because make sense why replace something that cost 100£ when you can do a bad job and charge thousands ,to be honest I still have the warranty but dealing with this horrible people is not worth it.
Not to forget first time when I took it back they forgot some materials stuck to the wheel that was overheating witch could lead to a fire if I wouldn't discovered in time. Second time I hade to drive for a week with defective brakes causes they said is safe to drive.
So one star is to much for this place but I can not give 0. If you want to deal with crooks incompetents thieves this is the place also they lost some minor parts that i had to buy caps mold sealant

My TRoc hit from behind work done in…

My TRoc hit from behind work done in less than a week . Great service and kept informed on progress etc .Unlucky for me this was the second rear ender in less than a year .But at lest through Church hill insurance and there use of DLG I had a happy ending 👍
