I was insured with Churchill for my beloved car for several years, no problems, until I made my only ever accident claim.
Ever since the minor accident, an utter nightmare has occurred… all due to the call handler, of Churchill as far as I’m concerned and their dealings with the third party insurer’s. The incident should’ve presumably been more thoroughly investigated it seems!
On explaining the accident’s events, iit was the call handler who claimed it was the 3rd party’s fault, almost immediately, I never mentioned liability, he said the other party was liable within minutes. He then initiated getting my car repaired, no further questions asked. All sorted… or so l thought.
2/3 whole years later, the 3rd party has claimed it was my fault and so we have the most ridiculous battle going on, both car insurances’ solicitors… and they’re dragging me into it! Absolute nightmare.
Threatened with having to go to court over the errors of Churchill Insurance for godsake!
My car Insurance’s solicitors are incompetent… failing in their duty of care… I’m sick of it all. Too many individuals dealing with it. Clueless!
Churchill’s call handler was clearly at fault, should’ve got more information, should’ve discussed it with the 3rd party… it’s disgusting it’s caused me so much stress. Not even my doing.
Get your ACT together, Churchill and AF Solicitors, you’re completely unprofessional and NOT on the case! Stop dragging your innocent clients into such messes!

Purchased a van insurance and contacted customer service to inform that it was a refrigerated van. Customer service included in the policy.
After few days, I checked the documents and did not see any reference to refrigerated van. So, I contacted Customer Service again and was informed that even though it was not showing in any document, it was included in their system.
Customer Service asked me to hold for a moment and then came back to inform that because it was a modified vehicle, I would have to pay an extra of £140.
They make a mistake and then want to charge extra from the customer. Unreliable company!

This service made a very stressful time a lot better. I can’t praise this service from Churchill enough.
The assistant was most helpful taking time to talk through the policy I was looking for
I accepted my new quote for my car insurance and I thought that would be fine but 2 weeks later I got a letter saying I didn't have my car insurance so has been driving around without insurance this has left me feeling very anxious as it wasn't my fault I expected it to be sorted and it wasn't
