UPDATE- I am now being told I must pay £203, £113 of which are “extra fees” and “cancellation fees” absolutely outrageous. After expressing my upset towards this insurance company this is the response I receive????

Extremely disappointed with how I have been treated by this insurance company.
I contacted the company several times before my payment was due/late to explain my circumstances and make them aware that I would need additional time to pay. I did the responsible thing and communicated with them rather than simply ignoring the payment. During those conversations, I was told that arrangements would be organised, so I genuinely believed everything had been dealt with.
Despite this, my insurance was cancelled.
The impact this has had on me has been huge. Having a policy cancelled has made it much harder and more expensive for me to obtain insurance elsewhere and has caused me significant financial stress and anxiety. At a time when I was already dealing with a very difficult period in my life, this has added even more pressure.
What makes this particularly upsetting is that I repeatedly contacted them and relied on what I was told by their staff. If I had been clearly told that my policy was going to be cancelled regardless, I would have done everything I possibly could to prevent it.
I feel completely let down by the way this has been handled. Customers should be able to contact their insurer, explain their circumstances and rely on the information they are given.
I have asked the company to properly review my previous conversations and reconsider the cancellation, because I genuinely believe this situation could have been avoided.
Very disappointing experience and, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company based on how my situation has been handled.F

Excellent work cheaper than other companies and straightforward

I sadly had to cancel my policy, as I was trying to add my husband as a 2nd driver, but my request was refused. To add my husband is in his 40s, held his Drivers licence for over 20 years with over 10 years no claims discount and no issues, so this was completely unjustfied.

Absolutely the worst insurance company I’ve come across refused to change my insurance over to my new car and then charged me to cancel my insurance. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!!

Professional and sincere

Looked on Internet Explorer and I find it easier than other companies

Communication was difficult. There were language problems from the start. It resulted in being accused of withholding claims information from a previous insurance company for a vehicle not part of my policy with them. In the end, I was able to prove that the. claim in question was resolved .I was even threatened with withdrawal of the current paid up policy if I didn’t prove proof within 16 days.
A truly miserable experience throughout.
I would NOT recommend dealing with this company .
A forgetable experience at best.

Terrible service .

Had a non fault claim . Van eventually repaired but the customer service from Zenith and Enterprise is disgraceful.

Emails not responded too. Failed to sort a hire van at the repair garage so I couldn't go to work losing money.

When I did put a complaint in it was closed and passed to your van department who haven't responded.
Ignored emails on my claim questions

My advice is don't use Zenith .

Poor customer service and when you do email in regarding your claim you'll be ignored
