They simply never reply to enquiries through the silly site form required to contact them, first time I presumed it was simply lost in the system, after trying multiple times (5 now) over the last year I've given up, they simply do not respond.

Not what they used to be, bought 1 x lighter and 2 x hand warmers, the lighter is terrible quality and none of the 2 hand warmers work. Never again, avoid zippo at all costs, over priced rubbish

Bought a yellow flame butane insert about 3 months ago, the flame was double the height that was advertised. Contacted Zippo and never received a response back as I wanted to return it under warranty. Now the flint wheel has stopped working completely and again I am getting nothing back from Zippo. Literally a defective product and I can't exchange it under warranty. I would avoid Zippo like the plauge nowadays honestly, a subpar product with subpar customer support. 0/10

My hinge on my 1994 brass zippo became wobbly. Sent it back. Returned it with hinge fixed and with the old inside and also a new inside! Absolutely brilliant. And totally free, apart from my initial postage.

Great Repair Service
Have just received my repaired 1986 Windproof lighter back from Zippo, it's as good new.
Lighter had separated into two parts with the hinge broken internally.
I downloaded repair form and sent the broken lighter to Repair Centre in Milton Keynes. I received repaired lighter 7 weeks later with new internals.
Very satisfied customer and thanks to Zippo for this great service.

Purchased two (2) HeatBank 9S Plus hand warmers for XMas gifts. One handwarmer was defective and I called Zippo for a replacement. Zippo sent the replacement pronto, with a return address label. However, I had to pay for the return shipping cost which, for a multi-billion-dollar corporation, is hen's feed -- but to me? Shipping any package with USPS (or any other mailing company) is definitely NOT cheap on my pocketbook. I just feel Zippo should include shipping with a defective product.

Got a gift from someone a personalised zippo, wanted to return and get same gift until I realised it cost 50 quid.
Should see the crappy tin and presentation, you get better from star lighters so go buy them and bomb lighters, same quality and reliability, got same one personalised in same colour with same amount of personalisation, star branded one for 5 quid and was the same quality all around, dont get ripped off, these lighters are worth 10 quid max, a compamy that works on greed..
From what I read they make these for peanuts, by the millions amd you can tell that.
For 50 quid Id want some real gold and hand engraving or something, not a piece of brass or steel that costs 50pence, this will rust up with minimal use as its a over priced basic model, disgusting as you think your getting something special when your not, not even a certificate of authenticity, very disapointing gift and blatently screams over priced amd rip off at you..

Look at zorro and star or bomb lighters, same quality and personalisation for way cheaper, if they can make them for 2 quid, zippo can.

I ordered a surprise zippo lighter,ended up with one that doesn't even exist on the website that looks and feel extremely cheap, even worse than their cheapest products marketed on their website.

I have purchased 2 windproof lighters from there official website on the 28th, received both items on the 30th. Disappointedly, there is an faulty item - SLIM® FLAT SAND ( SKU: 49528-000002), it has a very obviously black scratch on one of the corners of the Lighter, which I would like to be refunded. I have contacted the customer services through there online form straight away since I received my orders on the 30th(there is no other ways to contact them…) However, nobody has replied yet…
One week past, still…nobody has responded, tried to email their info email too, it seems that the email doesn’t not exist as my email has been bounced back by Office 365 saying: The address may be misspelled or may not exist…
I will give a few more days, otherwise I will contact PayPal to take action and get my money back for the faulty item.

(RIGHT AFTER FILLING IT UP! )... guess I'll just go back to a Bic because I'm not going to try and light a lighter 3+ times to get it to light... oh... and this was NFL endorsed one so cost around $32...
