Avoid how the heck can a carvery not have a meat option for uber. Old Windsor should be ashamed. This week has cost in excess of £150 because for some reason a CARVERY cannot offer meat on uber. Glad others local have filled the spot. Ps farnborough offer meat all the time no restrictions. New Manager required asap

Following our recent visit to the Toby Carvery Keighley, a place we frequent very often.
I cannot praise the staff high enough. Them young girls are a credit and work very hard.
My concern is the actual carvery which I feel in the last month has gone downhill.
Tonight some of the veg was cold, some was seriously burned and the stuffing is an insult!! It’s like it’s made from powder but not enough water!! The carver of the meat on last two occasions basically threw it on the plate often missing plate it then landed on worktop but picked up & put on plates.
I hope these comments are taken seriously and when we visit next time we notice an improvement.

Went to the Toby for the 3rd time within a week. How that place has changed… for the better.

Yesterday I went with my mum around 16:30.

Megan was our waitress/server.

She was well spoken, polite, warm and very helpful.

The Chef that served us was lovely, her name was Maddie (we had Sebastian last week who was amazing too).

I like my meat and not the thin slices you can see through! Both Chefs cut nice pieces of meat which was a rare practice in the past.

The rest of the food was fresh and hot and delicious.

David the supervisor (or Manager and if not manager, should be) was lovely too. We sat near to the aircon unit and when I asked could he turn it down or off, immediately smiled, dashed somewhere and within a few seconds it was off and asked if it was ok. It was perfect.

I did say we used to go to Bedford, but a month ago we went there and the food and staff had really gone down hill in our opinion.

On holiday in Blackpool and always try to have a carvery at Toby carvery close to where we are and as always they deliver great customer service and great food

Awful, awful do not waste your money. Nothing good about it except awesome people we were with.

Last time I visit a toby , went Tuesday 27th Feb and the food is awful and waiter/chefs look like they have given up on life. So at the food counter ask for a large plate at 6ft2 & 285lbs and get the same as a old timer with a normal plate so waste to get a upgrade. The Mac & cheese was just pasta literally no cheese flavour at all , creamy potatoes & carrots the same , the best part was a pile of stuffing. While in the cue with the old chap having a natter , the Chef/Serial killer was what I can only describe as "stabbing" the hot pots of food for whatever reason slamming hot cast iron lids around the counter an at one point lost grip and burnt the old chaps hand who was reaching for a dish showing it hurt and saying ouch the waiter responce "Soz". Disgusting service if you don't want be there , then leave. Your not held at ransom !! I wasn't going pay and just leave but ended up paying & if I wasn't with a female friend and that chap was a relative of mine things would have gone a hole lot different with the food killer. Joke of a place I'd avoid if you don't want feel anger , rage & depressed after your bland plate of food & Robbed of £30.

Front of house was good. Amazing service by Shelby. 👍🏻 food was good as usual. Thumbs up to Toby Washington.

Great lunch and drinks with a good choice of wine. Very friendly staff and atmosphere.

I did not see the sign for putting in your car registration, but Aaron very kindly and efficiently sorted this out for me.

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast Sunday morning, service with a smile by Cyril and he provided fresh food when it was required promptly. Very pleasant morning. A happy atmosphere and amiable staff, definitely makes a difference to the dining experience. Thanks Cyril!

We arrived and waited for an hour as the last person didn’t pay after they paid we were still waiting for them to clean and set our table we checked 4times and it still wasn’t done after it was done we had our starters and Two of the soups was cold after the waiter took it to be warmed up again after we finished the starter was finished we all went up and there was hardly any food left the said they ran out of beef and the lamb was low and then after the dinner we ordered dessert they messed up the desert order by thinking we had to two children desserts when it was only one child dessert and the toilets were a mess.

Same vegetables used daily, weekly, monthly.
Visit other toby's and have had pleasure in saying they provide a varied selection of veg.
Even swede, roast parsnips and various varieties of cabbage
Not the case at Bridgend and Cardiff Gate. Seems like preparation and cooking time might be the reasons.
To be told they are out of season is total Tosh.
In season in Lancashire out season in Wales.
Noticed prices have risen along with everything else, however standards have not.
No longer such great value.

The staff r not polite the food is cold I seen a chef bring a fresh hot mash potato and he mixed it up with all the old cold mash potato and the same with the pasta put the cold with the hot plus got toy machine for kids witch you have to grab to win and that is fixed never seen a kid win yet a scam they should be a shamed of them selfs ripping kids of they jam the toys in to so you carnt get them should have a toy machine for kids that they win a toy every go avoid the toby carverys at all time rubbish places the chefs do not know there job at all need looking into very poor

Almost always good food, if there is any problems it's usually sorted straight away. 99% of staff are excellent.... except for 1 particular shift manager. He is very arrogant and sarcastic. Irritates customers and staff. Get rid of him as quick as you can.
He is the only reason I couldn't give a full 5 stars

Four of us visited on a Sunday evening, with a 10 year old and very active toddler who would not sit down. Mario, our server, was a marvel, being patient and funny with the child and never loosing patience. The food was lovely, even though we had to eat up quickly. Mario popped the toddlers food into a takeout box and gave both boys a sweet. He really made this stressful visit much better. Mario was ace, as was the food.

We went to the Toby today at Ewell and had a lovely time. They were friendly, chatty, helpful and enjoying their job. The place was clean and welcoming. We had gone to the Worcester Park Toby 2 weeks ago and the contrast was vast. No one there smiled and it was hard to get someone to help. They couldn’t get away quick enough. I can only say you can see the difference that managers make to their staff. TOBY EWELL ALL THE TIME. BEST IN SURREY!

This is the 4 the time I have been to The Toby. Food is always cold, even though I have been at different times. They do not adhere to food standards of food being heated to required temperature if 63 degrees or above. Food inadequate. Others also complaining.

All the Toby’s round me are great. Good value and good food. The staff are great. Always running around

Yorkshire pud flat, and lukewarm.
Roast pots, not crispy very leathery and difficult to cut.

Disgusting customer service ask me who i'm buying food for its not your fuc... business I did try to buy kids roast dinner for my soon after school and they set to me I do have to buy adult one cause i'm not a child ! Never again
