If you want peace of mind in your house purchase, these are definitely the people to go to for your surveys. The Surveyor was professional and so helpful and really went above and beyond andreally put us at ease as first time buyers. Cannot recommend them enough.

Well that was easy, just asked for a survey and a survey was done. We got TMP from the internet and had a little concern as we did not know anything about them first hand. No need to worry, our surveyor stayed in contact and helped understand everything about the process. very happy customers.

As first time buyers we don't really have a comparison to judge on, however I will say that The Moving Portal handled our request for a Level 2 survey very promptly. It took just a week for the survey to be booked, completed and the report to be sent to us. We then had a call with R Frisby who carried out our survey and he took the time to go through it with us and explain anything we were unsure of and answer our questions on what to do next. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, which is appreciated when this is all very new and can be overwhelming. Thank you R Frisby and the moving portal for your help!

The overall experience with Moving Portal was good. They passed on my case to Elite Surveyors Limited. The booking process and the survey itself were so smooth. I never had to follow up once. When I booked, I was given a date after Martin from Elite coordinated with the sellers. One day before the survey, Moving Portal sent me a reminder. On the day itself, Martin gave me a call asking if I wanted him to look at something specific; gave me a report the very next day report. And the report was detailed and highlighted all the right points. Highly recommend.

Booked a level 3 survey, which although insightful, was often vague or inconclusive, even after a follow up call. Lots of references to contacting a specialist to gain further information. So much not tested and therefore automatically highlighted as needing attention. Not sure what I gained for the money over a level 2 survey really. It was useful to raise some issues that I could go back to the owner to gain more information. But they gave me more answers than the survey in some cases! A lot of money for less of an insight than I had hoped.
