They took their £99 process fee then said no to my mortgage what a rip off

I had to call to request an up to date statement from them, the answered my call after being on hold for less than a minute, little short of a miracle these days. Polite and helpful lady called Sharon I think (apologies if I misheard), excellent.

Well what can I say what a fast simple easy company to deal with for a mortgage

Good Mortgage provider for self-employed People, understanding of personal circustances which other providers wouldn't. Relatively smooth process.
Minor downsites: some unexpected requirements as sollicitors from their specific board and quite high interests.
Overall they helped us.

We are fixed in for a 5 year mortgage with Precise. During this time my partner and I got married, which created some debt. Unfortunately, the world seem to fall in on itself, and that debt has gradually grown. Precise have been inflexible in terms of extending our mortgage, or adding on to it. We did request an Interest Only for 6 months under the Mortgage Charter Act. I specifically asked at the time whether this could be asked for again if needed, or if it was a one-time deal - I was told we could request it again. Which was great. But now we've tried to do it again, but Precise say this is not an option anymore - completely contradicting their previous statement. The people at Precise are very nice, but as a company they are not flexible to help their customers. It also really frustrates me that they do not offer any online facilities to manage your account with them.

Very easy and straightforward

After renting for 15 years being in our late forties getting a mortgage wasn’t something we thought we’d be able to do, but precise gave us this and for that will always be grateful.. however atvthe end of the process the day before completion they were asking questions and asking for documents that should have been asked of at the very beginning, this cost us extra Solicitors fees and I cannot express the amount of stress we and our sellers were put under.. and that was a shame.. as at the beginning we felt very safe and super satisfied.. at the end we were left feeling deflated and it took the shine off our excitement.

After renting for 17 years we were desperate to get onto the property ladder. My partner had some adverse credit from 3 years ago and we were turned down a DIP from some other lenders. That’s is when our broker suggested Precise. The DIP was approved quickly and we went ahead with the full application. We had two rounds of questions sent back to us from Precise regarding our financial situation whilst they arranged an in person valuation. They responded very quickly. The whole process from application to offer took 12 days which is very efficient. We are delighted to have purchased our forever home when we thought it would never happen Thank you so much Precise.
