I had Lasik in both eyes 10 days ago at the Finchley Road branch of Optimax in London and cannot recommend them enough. From the consultation to the surgery to the aftercare absolutely brilliant. They made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire process.
My prescription & astigmatism weren't what I would deem to be terribly bad, but I have worn glasses since I was 16 and I am now 32. I feel like I am seeing everything in a completely new light! Amazing!

The patient journey at the Manchester clinic was fantastic from consultation to aftercare. They did not push me to have expensive treatment but went through all options with me in a clear detailed way and recommended what they they felt would suit my needs and lifestyle which actually was the lowest priced option. On the day of the treatment it was efficient, friendly and safe. I am absolutely delighted with the result. I would highly recommend this clinic for laser treatment.

I had lense replacement surgery in the Glasgow clinic 5 weeks ago and can highly recommend them. From the initial enquiry through to consultation then surgery and now aftercare, it has been first class. Before surgery I had a pair of glasses for reading, another pair (different strength) for computer use and was shortly going to need another pair (again a different strength) for driving. I opted for the EDOF lenses (extended depth of focus) and am delighted to say I have been completely glasses free since the day after surgery. A huge thanks to the surgeon Mr Saboor who I can highly recommend and all the staff at the Glasgow clinic for a first class, stress free, professional service.

I had lens replacement treatment at the Cardiff clinic. I was extremely nervous before the procedure but everyone reassured me that I would be fine and there was no pressure to proceed. I had Lasik surgery at Optimax in Reading in December and couldn't be happier. Right from an initial consultation I had utterly superb service and my eyesight is now perfect after 30+ years of glasses and contact lenses. I really felt like I was treated with such care and expertise that I would recommend to anyone that you at least finding out what they can do for you in a free consultation.

I've recently finished my aftercare sessions with Optimax's Southampton Clinic after undergoing their LASEK eye surgery and I can confidently say that their treatment is the closest thing to miracle medicine I have ever seen. After over a decade having only 2D vision without glasses everything I see now is so much more magnificent!
On top of this the doctor and staff have been amazingly helpful, friendly and considerate, all appointments have been very efficient, and they were willing to change my treatment on the day of surgery in order to ensure as much safety as possible.
Overall I could not be happier with my experience with Optimax, and would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to correct eye problems.

Really impressed with the Cardiff branch and my assessment for laser eye treatment today. Michael welcomed me with an option of a coffee or tea and talked me through the tests and questionnaire. Then I went and saw the optician who took me through the relevant eye tests to determine if it would be advisable for further treatment.
She was detailed and explained that currently it wouldn’t be advisable and discussed all my options. Many thanks to the team, I now know where my options lay with glasses, lenses etc.
I fully recommend and will be returning when my eyes further deteriorate.

Finally got rid of my glasses after 20 year!

I had bilateral multi-lens replacement surgery on 18th December 2024 & couldn't be happier with the results. I was terrified beforehand, however needn't have been. It was totally painless & very quick (approximately 10 minutes per eye). Ms Tahmina Pearsall who undertook my surgery, spoke to me throughout, played music and put me at ease. Thank you.
The pre and post surgery care has been exemplary and there was absolutely no "hard sell" at any point - just honest and professional advice.

If anyone is reading this and wondering whether to go ahead - please do. I can't tell you how wonderful it is not to be reaching for various pairs of glasses in order to do different tasks. I haven't worn any specs since the date of my surgery and can now apply makeup with clarity & confidence! Optimax Brighton are the best!

I had my laser eye surgery over 22 years ago at the Manchester site. It was the BEST MONEY I have EVER spent. I have had perfect vision since the very first day and with regular eye test I have never needed glasses since. If you are thinking of having this procedure go for it, you won’t regret it. My experience was around 2001 but it won’t let me write that in the date of experience 😂

I had both lens replaced a week ago and wow what a great experience. I was very nervous and was worried before the procedure, but the staff were amazing and gave that calming effect out which in turn relaxed me and actually it wasn't nowhere as bad as I thought.
The procedure was very quick, painless and even after had very little issues.
Aftercare has been great too, the staff at the Nottingham branch have been amazing and very thoughtful, even gave me a veteran discount when they found out I was an ex-army medic....

Only things that would improve the service would be blinds in the waiting rooms as the sun beams through and as you are there having an eye procedure that doesn't help and can cause some discomfort. And also a coffe/tea machine in the waiting room, as you generally always need a friend or family member to bring you in and they have to wait for hours so a drink would go a long way. And lastly great having TVs but they are all optimal adverts, I'm there for my eyes no need for adverts....put TV programs on for people to watch.
But thanks to all the staff again at Nottingham!!
