Excellent service and very helpful

I recently visited Optimax Manchester Clinic for laser eye surgery, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! From the moment I walked in, Asen and Siu made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The clinic is modern, clean, and well-equipped, which instantly put me at ease.

The consultation was thorough, and the team took time to explain every step of the process, answering all my questions. I felt confident in their expertise, and the procedure itself was quick and painless. Post-surgery, the follow-up care has been exceptional — the team has been really supportive, ensuring I was healing properly and addressing any concerns I had.

Thanks to Optimax, I now enjoy clearer vision without the need for glasses or contact lenses! I highly recommend this clinic for anyone considering laser eye surgery. The professionalism, care, and results have truly exceeded my expectations!"

I had both lens replaced a week ago and wow what a great experience. I was very nervous and was worried before the procedure, but the staff were amazing and gave that calming effect out which in turn relaxed me and actually it wasn't nowhere as bad as I thought.
The procedure was very quick, painless and even after had very little issues.
Aftercare has been great too, the staff at the Nottingham branch have been amazing and very thoughtful, even gave me a veteran discount when they found out I was an ex-army medic....

Only things that would improve the service would be blinds in the waiting rooms as the sun beams through and as you are there having an eye procedure that doesn't help and can cause some discomfort. And also a coffe/tea machine in the waiting room, as you generally always need a friend or family member to bring you in and they have to wait for hours so a drink would go a long way. And lastly great having TVs but they are all optimal adverts, I'm there for my eyes no need for adverts....put TV programs on for people to watch.
But thanks to all the staff again at Nottingham!!

Recently had ICL surgery done at the Glasgow clinic.
Very happy with the results and the way I was treated.
It was Nicola that I mainly dealt with, she was very helpful from start to finish and very pleasant to deal with. Would recommend the surgery.

Optimax in Belfast was recommended to myself and all I can say is they did not disappoint!! From start to finish very friendly and professional.All questions answered even when they sounded silly!! .I would highly recommend the procedure I had Lazik done on my eyes and can’t believe the difference getting up in the morning and not having to grab for my glasses or the hassle of contact lens .So if your thinking of it go for a consultation and decide for urself!

I had such a great experience with Optimax for my ICL surgery. The team was lovely, and Mr Chris Stephenson was brilliant—really kind and made me feel at ease throughout. The whole process was smooth, and the results have been incredible. I’d highly recommend Optimax to anyone!

wow what a service. I thought I could have the £8000 lens replacement to help with my vision, but in the end it was not for me for various reasons. The reason I gave 5 stars is for the amazing staff Moses who greeted me with such a lovely smile and demenour every time and the opticians and surgeon who took such patience to answer my million questions. No one at any time pressured me into having it done and actually made me think long and hard about the surgery and if it was for me. Professional service. Thank you all.

Even when unsuitable, they will try to make you have the surgery. Avoid at all costs. They are not looking out for your best interest. They also try to remove negative posts.

I had lens replacement surgery 2 days ago at the Harley Street clinic after initial consultations at Peterborough. The staff at Peterborough were fantastic, and helped me reach my decision to go ahead.
At Harley Street,we were welcomed by Magdalena who was so friendly and helpful (she looked after my wife for the whole time I was having the procedure !) and then I spent time with Wayne in pre-op. Wayne was excellent, getting me ready for the surgery and answering all my questions. Mr Muen and his Theatre team: Mirella and Georgi carried out the two 10 minute procedures which were completely pain free. Mr Muen talked me through everything he was doing and about to do, which put me at ease. It was all over so quickly. Then we met Ramla for post op to explain how to care for my upgraded eyes. She ran through all the drops I needed to use and the do's and don't's.
That evening, as my eyes were starting to recover I was amazed at already how bright and colourful everything was and how well I could see.
On the following day (yesterday), I had my 1st aftercare appointment back in Peterborough. The eye test showed I had already reached driving requirement standard and was only two lines on the chart off 20/20 vision. I was told that should be achieved in a couple of weeks. Also I could read font size 8..... amazing !
Still some healing to happen, but what a fantastic and life changing experience after switching between 4 pairs of glasses for different distances for years.
Wish I had done this 10 years ago. Huge thank you to the fantastic Optimax team. Would 100% recommend you to anyone.

I had my eye surgery in Spain and three check-ups in Bristol. Everyone has been so friendly, accommodating and very thorough and professional too. I rarely, if ever leave reviews, but felt this team were just consistently lovely I wanted to express that. I really recommend using this company if you are having eye surgery.

Clinic staff and surgeon engagement.

I had my treatment at the Cardiff Clinic and was very impressed with the entire experience. The all the staff there have been helpful, friendly, professional throughout, and the procedure has been life changing!

Initial Consultation - I had undertaken laser treatment 20 years ago, and made an initial enquiry into whether I needed a further correction. The lady clearly explained all options, and I decided on single eye Lens Replacement.
The Procedure - The surgery was performed at Leeds clinic. The consultant and staff were very supportive. I was in surgery for approx 15 minutes and due to the drops used this was painfree.
Results - Post-Surgery my vision has improved dramatically. I was discharged yesterday with 20 20 vision. I no longer need glasses. The results have been amazing.
Recovery - The recovery process was smooth. I was a little light sensitive for a few hours, but this cleared throughout the day. I had the surgery on the Saturday and then attended a check up on the Monday. I was advised at this meeting that I was able to drive again. I then had a check up after one week, one month and then 3 months.
Service - The staff at the Manchester clinic (and Leeds for the surgery) were exceptional. They provided excellent care and support throughout the whole process.
Recommendations - If you are considering lens replacement surgery, I highly recommend Optimax Manchester. Make sure you follow all pre and post surgery instructions regarding eye drops for the best results.

Excellent customer service from the Manchester clinic. From the initial consultation to the last check up, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The procedure itself was very quick. It took less than 10 minutes in the operating surgery. The surgeon and all assistants were efficient and reassuring. Post surgery your eyes will be very light sensitive and mine felt a little gritty for perhaps a week but there was no pain. My vision was 20:20 the day after surgery. 6 months on from the Lasik surgery, i have to say i am really pleased with the results. The only downside for me has been my night vision. I do see starbursts but it's not debilitating - i can drive at night and play sports under flood lights. I'm prepared to accept the starbursts at night for the perfect day vision, and the night vision may improve over time.

I'm over 40 and had been contemplating lasik for a while. It was the friendly customer service which convinced me to take the step and for that i am very grateful to the Manchester team.

Excellent customer service at the Manchester clinic from the initial consultation to post surgery and aftercare. I was very sceptical in the beginning and have panic attacks however the service at Optimax has been phenomenal. So glad I came here wish I came earlier!

The team at the Maidstone Clinic were friendly, helpful and professional. I was able to make a decision in my own time and had time to reflect before going ahead with treatment.
I had lens replacement and have been so pleased with the results. After +20 years of wearing glasses it's so great to be free of them.

I want to thank all the staff & eye surgeons at the Maidstone Branch where I had my replacement multifocal lens surgery carried out last February. In particular Ms Ugo Okinedo who I met on my 1st appointment where she checked that I was suitable to undergo treatment and all subsequent follow up aftercare. The aftercare at Maidstone was excellent, all the staff friendly & helpful. My journey may have been a little longer than some having the same surgery (everyone's different) but at the end of the day and after the superb aftercare I no longer need glasses for any occasion my eyesight is 20/20.
