Complete lack of service
Complete lack of service. No greeting from anyone. No interaction. No confirmation of the work that was completed. No goodbye. Nothing.
And when i called Halfords to discuss, the automation service put me through to some guy in a store in London who could not deal with any feedback. Lost for words. Just not what i expected from my past experience of Halfords. I wont be back.

THEIR GUARANTEES MEAN NOTHING
I had two Halfords own make front suspension arms. One shows sign of wear in less than 12000 miles and a complaint within warranty but Halfords refused to replace.
When they see your bad review on this site, they will reply offering to resolve but its a sham.

I previously was a staunch Halfords…
I previously was a staunch Halfords customers for servicing my car any repairs etc. over the Years that Grays ESsex branch has deteriorated in terms of front desk cover , customer care and decline in professional repair work.
I have been disappointed so many times . That receptionist Taylor is very rude , lacks professionalism and customer service . Unable to de escalate irate customers who have genuine concerns over the service provided instead she is triggering and lacks any sort or sense or rational .
Took off day to have my car sorted on a booked day only to be told after 5pm that wrong tires had been ordered ( despite a mechanic having looked at them to see the size and which type was needed ) no apologies no explanation I was just meant to take what ever they said and leave the shop .
Recently went to National tyres Grays trying to avoid that same Taylor receptionist who had left me traumatised.
The lady who booked my car in was friendly and I vented out my concerns regarding the Grays Halfords branch and explaining that I would never use that Halfords ever again. She reassured me and we had a good chat.
Upon collecting my car - the same Rude Taylor was at National Tyres branch very rude and as usual . This time this was witnessed by the local manager . She just handed me my keys and did not give any explanation as to the repairs .
Only discover that car was half fixed - car still has problems despite me paying to get it fixed .
I advise Halfords to sell or shut down as a business if they do not know what they are doing.
Very disappointing and traumatic experience.
I am not one to use racial card however , I feel there is condescending behaviours .
My money I pay to Halfords is neither black blue pink or tan . It is British money I expect good service from point A to be Z .
I will no longer be using Halfords ..
Sad bit is a few horrible people spoil other people’s business's due to lack of professionalism and basic manors .

Had a great experience at Halfords in Middleton, my rear suspension failed and they fitted me in straight away, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, clear information was given and my issue solved promptly to get me up and running.
