Booked a major service but then they tried to upsell me for further routine service items. They also contact me by email and SMS but I can only contact them by phone. Rubbish

Bought a Tom Tom Tom on line got email back saying it was sent to dhl for delivery who contacted me saying it would be delivered 23rd didnt rang halfords got through to india spoke to customer support they contacted dhl who said it would be delivered in 24 it wasnt .dhl waste if time i think its been stolen within dhl . Still not got it

I had a problem with part of the underside lining of my car becoming detached. Called in at Halfords Exeter St Plymouth on Monday, appointment given for Wednesday. The car was examined and problem resolved in less than half hour with no charge to me. Problem was explained and very helpful and friendly staff.

Excellent service , helpfull colleagues and all at a reasonable price.

I arrived for my 0930 appointment to have a battery fitted to be told my battery hadn't arrived, should arrive in an hour or so. With the benefit of hindsight I should have rebooked for 1530 which was also available and got on with my day. I went home and heard nothing. I phoned at 1200. Still no battery. I had to cancel afternoon appointments as I had no car. At 3pm I was phoned to say the battery had arrived and was now being fitted, Appointments should not be offered if the parts are not available. 6 hours to fit a battery is ubacceptable.

Turned up for appointment Stafford Rd Croydon to replace 4 tyres. Informed short of staff and could I leave the car with them for the day, I said no. Then said it would take two and a half hours. I said I would leave and claim a refund. Then informed they could do within one and a half hours. Very unimpressed, clearly think customers have nothing to do all day!

I took my 2011 nisan note to Halfords auto centre as the boot would not open, over 9 days and 3 visits, first visit they changed the lock, I kept the old lock , I had it tested, it was in good working order, second visit, they changed the genuine microswitch for a cheap rubbish one, mine was working fine, third visit, they found the broken wire, but only crimpt one end, this is the third time Halfords tried to fix the boot not opening, and failed, I had an electrical engineer fix Halfords goof, I got him to put my old lock back in, the boot has worked ever since. Of course Halfords a denying they misdiagnosed the problem, instead of lock, micro switch, wire, it's always, check wire then micro switch then lock. They got it wrong. I have invoice and work sheet for both Monday and Wednesday, not a word to say broken wire fixed. And are still denying it. You can see they are telling you porkies, you can see them blinking faster with a streaght face. So, Halfords, ON U BIKE

In for two new front tyres. Halfords offered a good price and a convenient appointment time. Staff were courteous and knowledgeable, both on the phone and at the appointment.

Always helpful, friendly manager. Explains everything to me and doesn't try to add on extras.

They failed the MOT on a job we told them about and they agreed to fix. However, they put this right on a second visit so a good ending.

On arrival I was made to feel very welcome and was given details of the time I would need to wait.

Good vibes from start to finish , booked a full servive and MOT , picked a later drop off time but dropped off early , did the mot first and contacted me with an issue told me it was nothing serious , gave me a cost if i would want it sorting and rectified it after i gave permission so all good , i would reccomend these guys

My experience with my Stourbridge halford was very helpful and positive. Booking was easy. Just wrang up ,after finding the number on Google maps. Asked about a MOT and was offered a place slots. Given the relevant information about what was available and just picked and had a confirmation that my choice can be met. A explanation of what I am going to pay plus the cost of the mot and a reduction on the cost of the mot . Then a few days before my appointment halford sent me a message reminder with the time and date "Nice " .turned up gave them the keys to the staff member, and was told it will be a hour. "Do you want to wait" and I responded no . One hour later told over the phone all done. Came back payed and that's it with a list of the faults on the car and the cost list to put everything write .
