I ordered a Barbour ladies jacket on 3rd January arrived 5th January, this company is amazing even in the trying times of postal strikes etc, and some not nice reviews, the jacket is lovely and warm and the despatch and delivery FIRST CLASS.

Good price, quick delivery and excellent product. Sleeves are a little long but that is not unusual when I buy an outdoor jacket for cold weather as I buy a size that lets me comfortably wear several layers of winter clothing under it. My last Barbour lasted 26 years and I was using it on building and landscaping projects, hoping this will have a similar lifetime.

Really pleased with online ordering and delivery. Would recommend this company.

I ordered next day delivery on Tuesday and it’s now Sunday and I still have not received my order
Or even had an email to say it’s been sent from shop
I have called all the numbers on the internet and site for the shop and don’t answer
the numbers don’t even ring
I wouldn’t recommend this shop to any one it’s a disgrace
So bad I have also emailed the email adress and had no answer
Nearly a week and nothing
I will be contacting my bank for refund tomorrow

Next day delivery paid for via DPD when an order was placed on Sunday. I appreciate that this would not be sent until Monday so should have arrived on Tuesday. However, I am constantly getting a message that there is an unexpected delay. GO have refunded the next day delivery fee but still no sign of the order. I have emailed and sent a Facebook message but no responses. GO seem to have washed their hands of the issue - no resolution offered. GO should be chasing up DPD and/or resending the order via alternative sources.

Thank you for your response. DPD have sent an email every day (including a further one just now) saying that there is an unexpected delay and that it would be delivered the following day. So, I had emails stating this on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I have had other parcels from DPD this week so the issue is with your parcel. YOU should be looking to sort this issue with DPD and if you did, THEN I may agree that you give great Customer Service. Until then, I have to disagree,

Simple website and quick delivery

This coat is very warm with the heater on. But very with it on. Battery lasts about 3 hours

**Terrible customer service and dishonest**

This summer I purchased a few Tilley hats on Amazon for use on an expedition in July. The hats unfortunately did not fit so I sent them back. There appeared to be a mess up at the post office and one of Great Outdoors Superstores hats was sent to the wrong supplier and vice versa. The other supplier (Taunton Leisure) notified me within a week and swiftly returned the wrong hat to me - I wish I could say the same for Great Outdoors Superstores, not only did they receive the hat and then sell it on profiting, they refused to refund me until they had received 'their' hat back. Once they received 'their' hat from Taunton Leisure they issued me a refund for that hat. The only problem was that they still had the Taunton Leisure hat. After some conversations and proof of postage/delivery Great Outdoor Superstore promised, via email, that they would re-order the hat they accidentally sold on and would send it back to me. I was due to leave on expedition the next week and after connecting them with Taunton Leisure they assured me this would be done. Once arriving back from expedition I checked to see if this had been done and to my surprise it had not... When I contacted Lynn who I had been corresponding with she notified me that it was not their error and I would not be receiving a refund or a hat!!
This completely blows my mind that this business has confirmed that the hat was received, which was not their property was sold on, and is not offering any sort of customer service solution. Completely and utterly dishonest and unethical. The worst part is that they led me to believe that they were happy to help resolve the issue saying they would send the right hat back to Taunton Leisure. Disgraceful.

Quick delivery of a quality item. The sizing process on-line was spot on; this site suggested a large and I have never had a piece of kit fit me so well. Another site suggested 2XL using the same measurements.....go figure!! With snow on the hills, I will be trying it out this week!

Easy to follow website so easy to order, only delay was due to total mail delays.

What I hate are company's carrying out tick box exercises without even consulting with them selves.
I have now been asked twice to comment on my experience in terms of service and the product, if anyone had taken the time to check, they would have been aware that I have not yet received my purchase. That's not blaming the post office, that's just a basic check before asking someone to comment on the business.

They were very wide and baggy. Not what i expected. I’l stick with Dr Marten one’s.

North Face Fleece is great and got it for a good price.

They have lost a star do to very late delivery. I get it, royal mail strike so not on them but I feel that a temporary switch of courier would surely be plausible and would ensure no delay to deliveries during the Christmas period.
