6-Year Customer Terminated Without Explanation — Requesting Fair Review

I’m a customer of over six years seeking a fair review and resolution. I opened my account in January 2020 and have paid consistently and on time without issue. On April 17, 2026, my account was abruptly terminated for an alleged “violation of terms of service.” I received no prior warning, no specific explanation of what I supposedly did wrong, and no opportunity to respond or correct anything. For a long-standing, paying customer, this lack of transparency and due process is deeply concerning. This account has been tied to ongoing communications, so the sudden termination has had a direct, real-world impact. My primary request is straightforward: a good-faith review and reinstatement of my account. Restoring a long-standing, consistently paying customer after a transparent review is the most straightforward way to resolve this fairly and demonstrate accountability.
If there has been any misunderstanding, I am fully willing to clarify and cooperate. At minimum, I expect:
A clear, specific explanation of the alleged violation
Confirmation that my account received a fair and thorough review. If reinstatement is ultimately not possible, then a prorated refund for the unused portion of April would be the baseline for billing fairness, given that service was discontinued mid-cycle at your initiative. I’m not looking for conflict—I’m looking for transparency, accountability, and a reasonable resolution. I hope this will be reviewed carefully. I will update this review to reflect how this is handled. The main # listed to the Evoice account is: (608) 371-1101 and the name on the account is: SW Repair Services. I signed up for a 7-day free-trial. It has not worked properly since day one. I cannot make any outbound calls. It should not take a technician 5 days to fix the error.

Really difficult to setup and not user friendly at all. Support was very active though which eased the pain but the system is not intuitive

I never signed up for or used EVOICE SERVICES, yet they have been charging my Bank of America credit card for a long time. I also noticed a pattern: when my card is locked, no charge appears, and when it is unlocked, the charge goes through again.

If this were a real subscription, I would expect the company to contact me when a payment failed. That never happened, not by email and not by phone.

Based on my experience, this raises serious concerns about how this company operates. I honestly wish there were a zero-star or even negative-star option, because this experience made me feel like I was being charged unfairly with no explanation. Please check your statements carefully and stay cautious.

As you indicated that you did not set up an account, it is possible that your credit card information was used fraudulently with a different email address. Card-Not-Present Fraud is the most prevalent form of credit card fraud, where criminals use stolen credit card details for online purchases. Given this situation, it appears that your card information has been compromised. We recommend contacting Bank of America directly to report the issue and take the necessary steps to secure your account and address any unauthorized charges.

EVoice made the account process complicated, they don’t understand D/B/A & denial is guaranteed because they could care less about your business needs. They will deny your DsL, & make you take unnecessary steps which becomes a complete waste of time.

Unacceptable fee to leave even for long-term clients

Was a client for well over 10 years. Prices have risen considerably and features has not been improved to the point where the service is quite lacking relative to other options. Requested PIN to port out my number and was informed there is a $40 "administration fee" for this service. Customer service was unwilling to waive this fee. Ridiculous. Also, they don't have web chat so you have to wait on hold to speak with agents who sound like they are either stoned or half-asleep.

Pre Sign up Failure

I had began signing up for them however I stopped when I decided to look at the reviews. They then emailed me offering a 14 day trial I told them I would love to take the trial however checking many of the reviews thier customer service are very choppy and have no support whatsoever and They Service is only good when working.

Dropped calls

This has been an ongoing issue since I started with eVoice and then got better only to get way worse when the new app came out. Calls drop constantly and it has nothing to do with location because the internet in the home is the fastest and the phone runs on Verizon network with full bars and 5G. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app, logging out and back in, nothing fixes it. Small business and with eVoice for 8 years.

They reached out to me today to try and resolve the problem.
