Sadly I would never use these agents again.
I was planning to sell my house through them but after they took 1/3 of my sons and his girlfriend deposit after ending their tenancy I have lost trust.
My son and his girlfriend left their 1 bedroom rented flat immaculate. Sadly they didn't think they'd need to take photos. Expecting just over £1500 deposit back they was devastated to get a letter claiming it needed a deep clean. The agent charged £500 for a one bedroom, very small flat (bear in mind it was immaculate when they left)
Please take photos as they didn't have this proof! I also wonder if the agency use their favourite, preferentially cleaning companies and then get commission? I'd be interested to hear if they do.

There were other issues whilst they rented, such as the agency giving the landlord permission to come into the home less than a week after they moved in wanting to do a mold check, which should have been actioned before they moved in. The landlord did not give 24 hours notice and so my son said no and requested they come later in the week, they came anyway whilst my son was at work and his girlfriend was alone in the property. A man entered, letting himself in with a key the agency provided. She was just getting out of the shower and felt incredibly vulnerable.

There was no lawnmower, no working hoover, a broken bathroom door, all requested by my son and girlfriend to the agency and not delivered by them. We ended up lending them our spare hoover and my husband took his lawnmower over when needed.

Be careful, take photos and protect yourselves!

I needed to speak to a Lettings Agent urgently. I checked reviews for Duncan Yeardley and made an appointment to meet the Manager, Mitch Moth at my local branch in Bracknell. Mitch was very professional but also very approachable. He gave me a huge amount of advise and over an hour of his time.

Duncan Yeardley are now my new Letting Agents and I am extremely pleased with my choice. They have walked me through a very difficult time. Can't praise everyone at Duncan Yeardley enough for their professionalism, advise and support.

We also have a pond with large fish in it that the buyers did not want so Marney put us in touch with a man who is going to take them all.

Jan Stamp has been absolutely instrumental in helping us navigate a fairly challenging situation with our rental property. There were a number of ongoing maintenance issues that required coordination between different parties, and throughout the whole process she remained patient, responsive and solution focused.

What stood out most was her willingness to step in and take ownership when things weren’t progressing as they should. She kept communication clear, followed things up consistently, and made sure we weren’t left in the dark, which made a big difference during what could have been a very frustrating experience.

I contacted the agency via email to visit a flat in Bracknell. I was called by an agent called Vivien, however as I was driving, she told me she would text me instead. Indeed she did and I replied to her including all the info she needed. 3 days on I haven't heard back from her. I qualify as my salary is sufficient and I do not have bad credit or credit cards for a matter of fact. I feel dumbfounded that I was not contacted again and I certainly will not be calling them.
