DR Bikes provide excellent customer service. Dan and the team are very friendly and helpful, with excellent product knowledge. The prices are highly competitive, particularly on SBS brake pads. I now use DR bikes for all serviceable items.

I used DR Bikes for the first and last time recently. I was shocked by the terrible customer service and how the staff lied to us when we called.

I purchased new levers for my wife’s Honda and we wanted them next day so paid the £10 for ‘express next day’ delivery. I ordered the parts late on Monday evening so knew I wouldn’t get them until the Wednesday.
I didn’t received a dispatch notification until Wednesday morning and the tracking appeared to show that Parcel Force didn’t yet have the parts.
We thought that was strange as I was expecting delivery that day, so my wife called DR Bikes to check.
My wife asked, if we have only just received a dispatch notification whether the parts would be delivered that day. She was told “well no… it means it’s just been posted”(Yes, it was said as sarcastically as it sounds).
Having paid £10 for NEXT DAY delivery she rightfully questioned this, to be told that they are busy and in the summer it takes longer (Again not in a polite way).
We then asked if the parts had been collected by Parcel Force. We were told that they had not as the collections were at 1200 & 1500.
We only live 25 minutes from DR Bikes so we asked if we could instead come and collect the items as we needed them that day. We were told that it depends if they are sent from their Chesham warehouse or Lincoln warehouse. After we persuaded the guy on the phone to check (It seemed like it was all far too much like hard work for him) he told us that the items were coming from Lincoln.
Imagine my surprise when the items arrived on the Thursday having been sent from their Chesham warehouse……. If you’re going to lie to customers don’t put the from address on your labels.

First time ordering from DR Bike and I ordered a Renthal/DID YZF-R125 Chain and Sprocket kit. Lets start with the positives. Very competitively priced, delivery was really quick and the purchase was straight forward. So far so good.Upon opening the parcel, which was really well packaged, everything looked ok until I noticed the front sprocket was a 13 tooth instead of a standard 14 tooth. Ok mistakes happen, no big deal, and yes a 13 will fit if you want more acceleration at the cost of what little top speed a 125 has. Since their website stated it was "Supplied with standard sprocket sizes and chain pitch". I contacted DRBikes and asked if they could rectify this.
This is the not so positives:
I was told this what the kit came with. Again14 is standard and is advertised as "Supplied with standard sprocket sizes". In fairness they did offer to replace it with a 14t of another brand because they didn't have the Renthal 14 tooth in stockbut the return postage would be at my cost. Again the wrong part was sent as it is not "standard" and its up to me to pay return postage? I was told that Renthal have it as a 13 that is why they sent it (not because it wasn't in stock). Considering I have been using Renthal sprockets since 2010 for these bikes it seems a bit odd Renthal would have changed that info. Quick look on Renthal.com and Renthal have the standard front as a 14t. At that point it wasn't worth getting into it with the person on the other end and I agreed to keep the sprocket and would source a 14 elsewhere. After this experience I said I would go elsewhere in future. Sales, pricing, delivery was all great....Aftersales not so good.

I was looking for a wide ramp to get a large bike into a van more safely. I settled on a Acebikes 500kg, and then hunted to a) actually find one in stock in UK, and b) with a good price.

After a fair bit of searching I phoned DRbikes and got excellent advice, and to cap it all a nice discount for my first order on their website.

It was shipped and arrived very quickly. I will use again.

And BTW the Ace ramp had no problems with my son riding his triumph bobber up it - combined weight about 450kg
