We have so much to thank City Paws for.
Late last year our Yorkie, Coffee had a serious problems after ingesting something he shouldn't have.
He went to his Day Care and over the day things got more serious, but thanks to the quick actions of Shane in taking him directly to the vets he survived... thats after 2 days in ICU and 3 days under observation at the vet hospital in Wimbledon.

Even now a few months later I feel I still owe the City Paws Team an enormous debt.
He is very special to us and thanks to them we still have and cherish him."

I owned Tilly with Charlie below. She died on 6 June 2017-she was 18 months old and we had her since she was 8 weeks old. We simply adored her.

On her 2nd visit to City Paws on her return they took her into Central London (South Kensington) with all the other dogs in the van (we lived in Barons Court at the time). She was in a crate with another dog she did not know. Neither dog was secured via a leash to the crate. Tilly jumped out as he took the other dog out to take her to her owners (the other dog was called Nella as we learned subsequently). He chased her around a car park area to try and catch her (rather than calming her down). She ran into a busy road in South Kensington and was fatally hit by a car. We did not get a final incident report from the company and no detail as to what measures they would put in place in the future (as we have learned yesterday after finding out another dog has been killed whilst under their care-they have put in none).

I do not blame the driver of the vehicle. He had the decency to meet us in person on the day. I blame the company, its standards, policies and procedures. This was an avoidable event-not an accident. .

I urge you to not take the risk with your dog at such a place. We paid the highest price for doing so.

Tilly was 18 months when it happened last summer. City Paws’ story kept changing about what ‘happened’ at the time, they gave us an ‘initial incident report’ with a final report to follow... unsurprisingly, we are still yet to receive anything.

The next thing I knew, they were trying to add me on Instagram (my photo was of Tilly). Literally no joke. I’m not sure whether it was ignorance, stupidity or incompetence, either way, it was deeply distressing and a clear reflection of how they ‘do business’.

They shouldn’t be allowed to be in the position ever again to inflict this on any more families.

If you read this, and still choose to send your dog there, you only have yourself to blame if anything happens. You have been warned.

Our dog is a feisty little thing and they have been excellent with him. They have been patient and relaxed when grooming and put up with the barking. The day care service is amazing. Peanut is always excited to go and waits by the door. The boarding is reasonably priced and the dog always comes back happy. I would recommend the company to everyone.
