Easy to order and delivery earlier than I expected. And a cheaper price than a lot of other places. Would order from them again.

The Barnstaple team sorted us out yesterday afternoon with a pair of bikes to leisurely explore the Tarka Trail to Instow. Lush day and the team were giving it all the cheeky wind up nosing how the first meet up had gone. Was hilarious. Lovely people, quick pick up and drop off, bikes great working order. Can’t recommend highly enough! 🙌🏻 Wedding invitation yet TBC 🤣

Fantastic service from Mark & Paul at Bike Shed Outta Town in Exeter. Took my sons MTB in needing an emergency repair after having an accident on the way down to Devon for holiday. They both went out of their way to help get the bike back on the road as quickly as possible so we could enjoy our holiday!

It was a straight forward on line purchase but they were really helpful with arranging a delivery date and when the bike arrived it was perfectly packaged and an easy assembly. Plus it was a very good deal.

Long story short. Forced to use for cyclescheme and local dealer . Poor communication never contacted always me contacting them . 2 months later got the bike .Over staffed shop left waiting . Gears clearly not indexed . Brake fluid leaking from olive connections. Cables twisted .
Same as usual from the bike shed.

Replaced my ageing Lazer helmet with a mask valegro, following a cycle accident in which the former got smashed- bike shed price was keen and placed order on a Sunday (2 hours after accident) and was with me via FedEx Tuesday morning. Superb! Amazing how much better new item is too- fit is awesome, might even make me faster! 😀☝️

Phone them to arrange purchase & they were very helpful & agreed to add some accessories before dispatching on a day to suit me.
After receiving the bike which was extremely well packed, I had a few questions so I called them & again they were extremely customer focused & helpful.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to others.

My wife enquired regarding a purchase of a new bike in Barnstaple. Unfortunately the one she liked wasn’t in stock, but they said we can order two different sizes in, without a problem The Bike Shed phoned and informed us that the bikes have arrived.
On our second visit and tested the best suited bike we agreed to the purchase, we had a few additional purchases with the sale it was ready to collect in a couple of days. Good service and staff.

Arrived quickly, well packaged, received emails and a call to confirm order and discuss logistics. The bike works perfectly and was relatively easy to assemble. My only qualm is that I had to replace two screws on the back light box to fix it onto the bike, because the ones provided didn't screw in properly. Luckily I had screws that fit it myself. (This of course is no fault of The Bike Shed, perhaps this feedback can be sent to the bike manufacturers though.
