Admire from afar
Truly a magnificent site, but just stay on land or the bridge to enjoy the view. Stepping onto the island feels like you have entered a Walt Disney World attraction- too many people, too commercialized and makes the whole thing feel inauthentic. Even the Abbey with the art installations and feeling of being herded like cattle takes away from the history and natural beauty. If we could do it over again, we would grab a baguette and a spot on the bridge to admire from the outside only.

What a tourist trap
What a tourist trap. Poorly managed shuttle to get to the island - very long lines, why wouldn’t there be more frequent shuttles? The food within the mont is absolutely some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten. One public restroom Available for thousands of people, and it doesnt flush or have soap or running water.

Great experience
Great experience. The castle and abbey are magical. There are WAY too many tourists visiting - but I do understand we went in high season. We had a great experience overall and would like to learn more about the history. We purchased a ticket with Audio from a non primary website. It is a shame this is so easy to fool people visiting the site. We were unable to use the tablet/headphones.
This is the issue with the internet and we did not get upset whatsoever.
We had a great day!

Better communication required for non French speakers
This was a value for money trip to an amazing place however, communication regarding transport was unclear for us as non French speakers and at least ten of us nearly missed the train back to Paris. We had to pay 40 Euro for an Uber an we're VERY stressed thinking we were going to miss the train. A 1 euro map of Mt St Michel would have been more useful on the train rather than the biscuits we didn't want or need.

Our main goal is to make a day trip from Paris to Mont-Saint-Michel as accessible and affordable as possible. We have taken your comments regarding communication for non-French speakers very seriously, particularly concerning the return journey, as we fully understand how stressful this situation must have been.
We would also like to mention that free maps of Mont-Saint-Michel are available at the Office du Tourisme upon arrival. Nevertheless, your suggestion is very useful, and we will consider how this information and the transport instructions can be communicated more clearly in advance.

Bonjour, nous sommes désolés pour cette mauvaise expérience avec le parking. Celui-ci est toutefois géré par Keolis, une entreprise totalement indépendante de notre équipe.
Notre service concerne uniquement les billets pour l’abbaye, leur achat et leur retrait, ainsi que nos guides audio, excursions et visites guidées. Votre note, principalement liée au prix du parking, pénalise donc malheureusement les membres de notre équipe qui travaillent chaque jour pour proposer des expériences touristiques de qualité.
Pourriez-vous, s’il vous plaît, publier cet avis sur la page Trustpilot de Keolis, l’entreprise directement concernée, et ajuster votre note ici en fonction de l’expérience que vous avez réellement eue avec nos services ? Nous vous en remercions sincèrement.

Pas de wifi devant l'abbaye pour montrer les billets. Remarque désobligeante de l'accueil qui a dit à ses collègues que nous étions un "cas typique". Billet avec audio-guide qui nous a été refusé par une autre personne à l'accueil pas sympathique qui nous a dit qu'on avait acheté les billets sur un faux site. Bref, pas terrible comme accueil, pas à la hauteur d'un site magnifique comme celui du Mont-Saint-Michel.

De nombreuses arnaques existent malheureusement, ce qui peut parfois créer de la confusion auprès de certains employés. Nos billets sont pourtant parfaitement valides, vendus au prix public, et notre service est entièrement légitime. Nous espérons que l’achat, le retrait de vos billets et notre guide audio vous ont malgré tout donné satisfaction.

worth going to see once but busy and touristy
Definitely worth going to see once but expect it to be busy and touristy! Parking and shuttle buses are really well organised. The village though is like a theme park! Nearly left at that point but it is worth going up to the Abbey even if the pre purchased tickets wouldn’t download properly. One lady member of staff totally unsympathetic and unhelpful but fortunately replaced on shift by a delightful young man who got us in!! (Thank you!)

The tour and visit itself was amazing
The tour and visit itself was amazing, one of the best tours we have taken. The parking experience was terrible. The gate wasn’t working and accepting of our credit cards. I had to call for help multiple times who then sent a guy out to look at it. He then made traffic back up so that I could back away from gate and walk back to office to pay in person then go back to the lot. The whole ordeal took close to 30 mins for a machine issue. The people were rude as well.

Amazing
Amazing! Highly recommend taking the time to visit Mont Saint Michel while in Normandy. I also highly recommend paying for the Audio tour. It is very well done and made the tour so much more interesting, and we found out things we would not have known otherwise. We only had four hours there as we arrived late in the day. I wish we had more time as we would have liked to wander through the town some and seen the dungeon room, etc. Plan for 5 hours min. However, we avoided any crowds by going later in the day. So, guess it was a tradeoff.

MAJOR ticket download problems.
It was easy to buy a ticket in advance but ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to actually get the ticket up onto my phone to be read by the very patient ticket taker. The man in the ticket booth did help us to find the tickets on my phone, but then finding them AGAIN was VERY VERY difficult. There are FAR too many advertisements to divert the user into pointless delay. This must be a SIGNIFICANT source of delay for visitors. We never did get the tablet and tour materials, there was so much agony getting the tickets. A highly unfriendly experience, very stressful.

At the same time, we are quite surprised by your comment regarding advertisements. There are absolutely no advertisements on either our website or our ticket retrieval platform, tickets-connect.com. After booking, customers receive an email containing their order number (in the format #XXXXX) along with a link to tickets-connect.com. They simply enter their order number and the email address used for the purchase to instantly access their tickets.
We are therefore very curious to understand what happened in your case. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly so that we can investigate further and improve the experience if necessary.

Arnaque : revente de billets le double du prix initial (25 euros au lieu de 13 euros) sans aucun avantage par rapport à la billetterie du Mont Saint Michel. Facture salée pour un moment d’inattention sur internet (leur site arrive avant le site officiel sur Google). Je me réserve le droit de porter plainte si les billets sont faux (visite prévue demain).
