Excellent service and food. Really enjoyable evening at crosspool sheffield. Served by Dylan who was so patient with us. 11 at the table split into 4 bills. He couldn't do enough for us.

I booked a table for 3pm and it took 14mins to be seen and a further 15mins waiting pay to pay and get the carvery tickets having been told that all the men at the bar were before me. I am in my 70's, registered disabled and carrying a walking stick so I had to go and find a chair and wait.Then he started serving those had just arrived at the bar. I had to ask another staff member to take my money to get the carvery tickets. To add insult to injury the food from the carvery was barely lukewarm.

Copperfield Gravesend Carvery. For the price can't really fault it £7.99 for carvery. All was hot and good apart from green beans which were mush. Ordered via app, drinks and ticket arrived within minutes.Good value and fast recommended

The Old Quay Parkgate , very bad service ,ordered from table via app ,not realising they put on an extra charge for it , But only received one item ,pepsi max ,also ordered bottomless ice cream , after 10 minutes, still no dish arrived at table , so had to go to bar to pick up dish , defying the point of ordering from table , then allthe sauce bottles were filthy , sticky ,had to get a member of staff to clean them , never go there again, did complain,heard back from head office ,who informed me the The Quay would be in touch ,still waiting ,been over 6 weeks now Bad Place to eat.

Put a comment on hear last year about the lack of tipe of veg.we have been again with the hope of cabbage and plain coliflower green beans but yet again same old veg i love the coliflower cheese BUT my wife cant eat cheese come on guys when putting veg on think of your own sunday lunch

Visited Old Mother Redcap, Blackburn Road. I can’t praise the staff too much. Alyssa took my order and made the drinks. I had particular needs, and she was more than helpful. Such a pleasant young lady. The carvery was served without having to wait, and the staff was very friendly. All the staff on Saturday afternoon 3 June, were very attentive, I was very pleased with my visit and the food has improved in flavour.

Visited the highwayman and had carvery. What a waste of money, plates cold, food lukewarm, meat cut like tracing paper, some veg overcooked and others half raw. Complained but got no proper response, just sorry we didn't like it! We are going to Toby carvery in future

Went to the Swan Hotel Coleshill Stonehouse carvery . Greeted by a young blonde girl asked if we had booked no welcome on arrival then showed us to a grubby table opposite the food. She muttered about getting us drinks or we could get them from the bar. My husband decided to order the drinks from the bar. We went to the food counter and had to wait a couple of minutes to be served, we were the only ones at the time waiting. To say that the meat portion is small is ridiculous it was minute. The vegetable selection was very poor, three selections of carrot and swede either diced, sliced or in a type of disgusting mash. Peas were dried up and the roast potatoes had been reused obviously deep fried and burnt. The potato mash and gravy were okay. There seemed a lot of staff wondering round but not doing much. While we were eating dinner i noticed a man waiting to be served, after at least five minutes of him waiting i told a member of staff who finally called a member of staff from the kitchen to serve him. Nobody came over and asked if our meal was ok. The dining room was all but empty and i can see why. Food below par, uninterested staff. Asked for the bill the same blonde girl brought the debit machine over , when we asked for a debit receipt she looked shocked and annoyed as though we were putting her out.Her name on the receipt was Laura. No please or thank you and i commented on this. Sorry The Swan but we won't be visiting again.

Poor service, cold food, DID NOT CARE
Was refused extra yourskshire pudding with veg carvery, all food was cold, I complained to the staff and was told ill check??
No response and left us eating cold food. I asked for the ladies name on the way out (Serina) and she still didn't apologise.
I officially complained online and a week later nearly and no response.
Very disappointed and upset as no one cared

I went to the mons in Bootle with my family on Xmas day , the food was as dry as a budgie's cage. It was late and dry, the stuffing was more like polyfila!😞. It cost a fortune for the dinner, never again 😫. No one cleared the table or checked everything was okay. We had to move the old dinner plates from previous customers sitting at our table 🤔. We were there in all for 1hour. A complete disappointment.. I am livid 😡.... Surely everyone deserves a refund 💷.

Shocking place. Went yesterday turned up at 4 and sign on door saying closing at 5 due to staff sickness. Took ages to pay as server messed the order up. Finally stood by the carvery counter had to go and find staff. Food looked like it had been there for days. Dry turkey. Cool dry mash. Hardly any gravy . No carrots. So we complained and asked for money back to be told they will bring fresh out. At this point it was 4.35 and only brought fresh carrots out. 4.45 a fresh turkey came but that would only leave us 15 mins to eat and rest of food hadn't come out. So had money back once the staff found the manager. We used to come here all the time well never again. We jumped in the car and went to toby carvery and food was amazing. Much nicer atmosphere as at stonehouse it was dead except drunk loud men playing

Booked a table for 3 people even though not really needed as extremely quiet, after ordering the food we had to wait nearly half an hour for it to arrive, on arrival the fish was so over cooked and chips were cold, this is probably a result of it sitting on the side for at least 5 minutes while waiting for the other two meals, yes we got a refund on the fish and chips but the waitress and manager didn’t seem too bothered by this, don’t think we will be coming back here again

The atmosphere was fabulous, the meal was wonderful and hats off to all, the kitchen staff, and front of house, especially Rhys! Such a funny chap and a hardworking one too!

Very dissapointed, normally great food and delivered on time. Ordered our meal at about 16.30 but did not receive it until around 18.15, Food was luke warm, veg possibly out of a tin, meat was chewy and fatty and potatoes soggy. Not very big potrtions like normal.
Usually I'm not very disapointed with their food but tonight for £53 and nearly 2 hours wsiting woild expect better.

We last visited the Bells of St Mary, Prestatyn, on 26th September and paid £20.47. Today, exactly the same meal and drinks £30.47. That’s a 50% increase in a month!
We always have the meat free plate so we just paid £9.99 each for a plate of vegetables. Yes they were nice but not cod that much money. We won’t be coming again.

Lovely, friendly staff and food was quick and tasted great.

We have been regular customers at Pig and Whistle Preston for many years more or less coffee and the odd breakfast most weeks and regular small plate carveries at least once per month. A fortnight ago I learnt that the small plate now consisted of one very thin slice of meat only. The bill including two diet pepsi came to £14,78. Not only was it poor value but more to the point of unfair value. The footfall in the evening is now considerably diminished and likely to fall further with this blatant gouging.

A week later we decided to eat at Wetherspoons in Lytham a superb meal Tuna Mayo baked Potatoes and salads, one diet pepsi and a coffee and a small portion of chips £!3.10

Terrible meal, will never return!
4 meals, which 1 was a carvery.
Carvery was cold, meat was awful and chewy, my son choked on the beef.
Took 1 hour for 2 starter's to come out. Chicken was pink!
Finally got a pizza, chips and halloumi wrap, 20 minutes after starter's, even though I'd asked for them altogether.
Wrap was cold, pizza was caked in BBQ sauce and just awful.
Was advised by manager, they had a busy evening, although it was quiet and nearly all customers got the carvery which is already there ready!

Terrible meal at stonehouse carvery.5oclock at ninfield east sussex dried up .meal 7.49. glass of wine 7.39. should be closed down.that bad.
