I do not have an account with ResOs. I started having guests show up saying they booked online but I had no info of this. ResOS is a cost effective solution for small restaurants with loads of options. The pricing levels allow you to pick and chooses what options are necessary for your business, and it's easily integratable with websites and google business pages. As a smaller company, ResOS was a perfect solution for just getting started with online reservations without a lot of pricey upfront installation fees. It includes features like email and text reminders for both customers and staff, prepayment for bookings, private notes on customers and so much more combined with well-thought-out UIX design. I'm so thankful to have found this option. It's truly accessible to restaurants of all sizes.

Terrible ux and design from a booker’s perspective. Our local pizza place started using this a couple of months ago. Used to go there once a fortnight, haven’t been once since they started using resos because confirming a booking is the most cumbersome process ever. If you own a restaurant and want to retain loyal local customers please use something - anything - else.

It's not possible to cancel or change the subscription on resos. They were collecting money though we stopped using their service for over 4 months.

We're based in Bangalore, India and were looking at various table reservation and management apps. They were all either too feature-rich requiring extensive training, exorbitantly priced or worse, both. Please don't forget that when I say pricey, I mean in the context of the Indian sub-continent.
resOS fits the bill perfectly in terms of our feature requirements. It integrates with Reserve with Google and has simple table management features, which is just right for us. There is almost no training required. It is web-based so there's no installation required either. Also, the customer feedback part works well and the reports are just perfect.
However, it's still extremely pricey, especially when used with the SMS messaging feature.
Just to give you a reference point, we pay about INR 3k/month for the Google Workspace subscription and less than INR 1k/month for our Zoho Books subscription, our accounting software. resOS costs us about INR 7.5k/month and the SMS messages cost us more than INR 25k last month for about 970 bookings which is quite simply, unaffordable in the sub-continent.
I think they especially need to look at their SMS pricing, and perhaps tie up with an Indian provider for text messaging, because believe it or not, it almost costs nothing to send messages in India through these providers.
