I made a reservation at a restaurant using Table Agent.
When I arrived at the restaurant, they had no record of the reservation. I showed them the confirmation from Table Agent on my phone and they said that they have no relationship with Table Agent. I later sent an email to Table Agent asking for an explanation. To-date I have received no response.

TableAgent has restaurants on their site that don't work with them. We placed a reservation accidentally through TableAgent and not directly with the restaurant. Although we received the TableAgent email confirmation, this was not linked to the restaurant's system. When we arrived, the restaurant did not have our reservation and were curious how we made it, since they don't work with 3rd party system. They said this has happened before.

WARNING!
This platform use your business information without proper consent. I dealt with someone called Jan Rodina, who claimed that by signing with them, you agree to let them indefinitely own and publish your business information online without your permission. This is extremely concerning and frightening.

No matter how they try to explain it, they sent me so many regulations that only prove they can do this. Do not sign with them — it could seriously hurt your business at some point!

Complete and utter farce. Definitely lacks legitimacy. Avoid.

Theres a booking page set up for our business that wasn't set up by us. We have asked tableagent to remove it, but they won't. We are receiving customers who are expecting bookings but we can't seat them. This is actively harming our small business and they don't care. AVOID!

Awful! How many times I tried to contact. I mistakenly registered for my business but never got active but there is a review about our business but you cant even see what is the review! No customer service, no reply to email.. Just ridiculous!! AVOID IT!

Not bad but cant complaints much as its free, 4 stars for me!

Upgraded to text confirmation and online payment processing. Otherwise is a free platform
Simple to use . Reliable and stable system.

Visited this place, The Texas steakhouse in Ropley, Hampshire, for the first time and we were very happy with the experience. Very clean and spacious restaurant with comfortable seating. Food was delicious, steaks were so tender and not overpriced. Only gave 4 stars instead of 5 as some of the staff could have been more welcoming. Also you need to be prepared to wait quite a while for food so perhaps book an hour earlier than you wish to eat. However we thought it was worth waiting for and would recommend this place. The menu includes more than just steaks. Give it a try!

Cannot get in touch with them to remove my business. Have emailed several times with no response.
They haven't deleted my restaurant from their server ... instead they have marked it as closed every day, thereby indicating the restaurant has closed down!

Made a reservation through Table Agent and received a confirmation email. Showed up at the speakeasy, and they had no sign of my reservation. Is Table Agent just mining data?

I was scammed for $1600 for the immersive Atmos restaurant reservation through these thieves. The restaurant was closed and the money was gone, I'm opening a case in court and my bank is helping.

Basically anybody can create a profile for a business without having any checks done, which then results in issues when the new management takes over or the business is changing booking services. Once the account for business is open it is impossible to get it removed. Which then causes lots of misplaced bookings and issues with customers causing trouble to everybody. Scammy website for sure, which makes me wonder what they get out of it since it's free...

called the business just to double check they don’t even take bookings they time i did, this is a joke my whole family is disappointed how this site is still up is beyond me

I booked a table for a local restaurant in South Wales for a Friday night We turned up to the restaurant and it was closed. I rang them and they said they have never used or heard of table agent and they are only open Sundays and Wednesdays. They are a total waste of time. Do not use them

Our business used Table Agent successfully for many years, when it came time for us to upgrade and Tableagent was no longer the best option we contacted them to close the account. They did not respond to 3 emails over a number of weeks, logged our administrator out of the system and changed the password, essentially locking us out of the system and removed the link we had added to Tableagent directing our customers to our new system. There does not seem to be a way for businesses to remove themselves from the tableagent system.

No Problems! We have used this site for over a year for our company. We have not had any problems. Customers book reservations, we can block days and times we are closed. It has been free.

This site hosts ads from malware scam sites. These are ads embedded in the page and look like they're part of the table reservation process. They ask for email and credit card information then, when you submit the full table reservation request, you're automatically signed up for "free trials" for multiple websites and are billed IMMEDIATELY and then subsequently every month (around 50 USD). This happened to my mom and she had to cancel her card. She was signed up for THREE separate "digital media" sites (all scams) and it took her hours on the phone with her bank to reach the conclusion that she simply had to cancel the card.

I don't care if the reservation system works, if you agree to host these kinds of scam/malware ads, you are complicit in their abuse!
