Very professional throughout, from initial consultation in Cork to procedure in Tallaght.

Both my son Billy and myself visited on Saturday 16/05, from the moment we entered the door we were made feel so welcome by Breda, she guided us through the whole process and answered all our questions with ease. Amy then took us individually and examined our eyes, she was so thorough and patient. Nelly then examined our eyes, she was exceptional, she couldn’t have explained anything any better, she even picked up on the fact that I have dry eye and advised on treatment options, which I tried and are working (my previous test in the last two months, with another store didn’t pick it up). Amazing team, thank you so much.

A huge thank you to the team at Optical Express for the amazing service today. My sunglasses lens had popped out of the frame, and Rachel, Eliza, and especially Roxana were so kind, welcoming, and helpful from the moment I arrived. They fixed everything in just 15 minutes!

I really appreciated the excellent customer care and professionalism. Thanks again for making the whole experience so easy and pleasant.

Unfortunately optical express is not a company in my honest held opinion can be recommended.

I was promised after care after concerns I raised in relation to reviews and video reviews I have seen.
Optical express were constantly told I have an issue with one of my eyes.

They are saying as 3 months is over and done with I now have to pay to have my eyes checked and pay should I need another operation.

They made promises over the phone and have not followed through.
Is a man of honest in integrity I expect others to show honest integrity.

Especially with a company you pay thousands of pounds too.

Please do not fall of all their advertising.
The company is dishonest and untrustworthy.

They will tell you what you want to hear to get your money.

Do your research with other companies.
Have a look and see how many protests have been made in relation to optical express ruining people's lives.

I am very surprised that they have been able to continue with such apprentice.

Aftercare is not their priority.
Customer service is not their priority.

Getting your money and making profit is their priority and money is their god.

There may well be a previously rehearsed spontaneous response from somebody from their team, someone who has spoken to a legal advisor to try and contradict what I have stated.

Please do not fall to this company.
Otherwise you will be exactly the same as me, wishing you had listened to those people with the bad experiences.

I have nothing but praise for all the team at optical express in Tallaght. From the friendliness of the receptionist staff who always made me feel welcome and put me at ease to all of the team involved in my lens replacement. I would highly recommend optical express in Tallaght.

The team in Newbridge are fantastic. Friendly, huge experience and super helpful. I received a very thorough exam and lots of good advice from the Doctor. Thanks to Breda and Amy for looking after us so well, when choosing frames. We couldn't be happier.

I found the staff in the Cork office to be extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was explained and laid out in the correct way. The consultant and staff in the Dublin clinic were all nice as well. However, when speaking to the consultant the difference between LASIK and LASEK was difficult to make out. His Portuguese accent made me unsure as to which one I was definitely getting but the two words being so similar is a bit off putting. Perhaps a name change would be a good idea!?!

In terms of the procedure itself - I knew which one I was getting - but I had to take three weeks off work instead of the proposed one week. I know there are provisos on a person-to-person level but if this had been explained more clearly I would not have had the procedure done at the time I did.

All in all I can see perfectly now, there is some dryness but I have the drops so I would recommend it for sure. I would just tell people to ensure you have ample time to recover.

Great staff and equipment, Rachel at the Mahon Point store explained everything clearly at all steps along the way. She then followed up with an email confirming everything within 15mins.

Cost me €50 and no appointment 🤯This company pressed to me have an appointment with them asap despite me saying Sat appointments suited me better. We confirmed a Thursday appointment but they then charged me €50 when I noticed a clash with a dentists appointment and I tried to reschedule NOT cancel just reschedule. Feels like a scam to me.

I was dealing with a girl called Donna. She was excellent to deal with. Explained everything thoroughly and made the whole experience very easy.

Donna & Rachel have the best attention to the customer, they did a wonderful job fixing my glasses

I went for an eye consultation and found the staff very helpful and friendly. We went through eye tests and all the steps of the procedure. I definitely recommend them if you’re looking for better vision through surgery

Donna, in particular, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout my visit. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I fully understood each step, which really put me at ease.

What truly stood out was her thoughtfulness—after my journey, she made sure I had a hot cup of tea and some fruit while I waited. It’s not every day you come across someone as genuinely caring and attentive as Donna.

She is a real asset to the team, and thanks to her exceptional service, I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

The entire process was very simple, right from the initial consultation through the surgery and aftercare. Surgeon and entire staff are friendly, knowledgeable and supportive.

I visited the Cork store in Mahon Point today to make a purchase. The lady who served was incredibly nice and extremely helpful. I highly recommend paying them a visit.
