Our experience in dealing with Paula has been very comprehensive, professional and diligent in her actions and behaviours. She is responsive to queries and is extremely knowledgeable. A real asset to the company.

This is a review for Paula McCafferty, Assistant Manager, who always gives 5* service. She is always professional and sorts any issues/queries out promptly. She really goes the extra mile.

Had an amazing experience with lenders, especially Paula! absolute credit to the company she is, always willing to answer any questions or worries, nothing seemed to be a problem.

I cannot recommend Paula M from the Northwich branch highly enough. Everything was dealt with professionally and efficiently and I was kept informed every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and her friendly approachable manner made the whole experience stress free!

We have always had exceptional service from Leaders. They let 7 of our properties at the moment they have found us some great tenants. They have always been great to deal with and Paula has looked after us exceptionally for many years.

Leaders have been very responsive, informative, and pleasant. Paula especially has been a very big help to us when renting out our property for the first time.

If you are a landlord I would not recommend Leaders. Go with a local company instead. Our experience was really terrible. The communication between landlord, tenant and agent the worst I’ve ever experienced. We never seemed to have the same property manager and they never returned emails in a timely manner or with anything that made sense in their emails. Our tenants were left without heating for 6 days in the winter due to their lack of of comms. Works were left outstanding for months and they let the tenants contract slide without informing us it has gone into a rolling contract. Eventually we complained to customer service who allowed us to exit the contract without having to pay a withdrawal fee and during that process a member of their staff (unintentionally) shared a contract with us that wasn’t even ours!! Our experience was a sham. They just don’t seem to care about your property or the tenants at all. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Charlotte Owen Northwich Branch - truly a delight to speak to and is so professional, courteous and kind when dealing with issues! My issues were resolved very quickly and efficiently, Charlotte showed great compassion and support!

What an absolute shambles this company is. We have now dealt it’s two leaders branches, who take months to sort out any kind of mould issues.

We had to move out of our first rented property as the mould was so bad. The new property, through the Northwich branch, assured us that we would not have the same experience. We first reported the mould back in November 2023 and it has progressed since then, despite contractors giving quotations on the work that needed to be carried out on the roof. We have also been waiting for a new fire alarm to be installed for 7 weeks and the window in our children’s room to be fixed, due to fact that it is jammed shut (which does not help with ventilating the mould issue).

I am immensely grateful to Paula for her exceptional assistance and professionalism. Yesterday, I found myself in a blind after locking myself out of my house in the morning. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue after work, it was too late to visit the branch to borrow a key. Understanding my situation, Paula went above and beyond her duties to come to my aid in the evening. Her prompt response and willingness to help outside normal working hours not only allowed me to access my home but also provided great relief in a stressful situation(it was so cold outside and I will become homeless). I am truly appreciative of her kind and professional approach, and her actions exemplify her dedication to supporting tenants. Her assistance in my time of need was invaluable!

Paula has been amazing from the moment we moved into our property any problems she is straight onto it and all problems are fixed and any changes being made to anything she makes sure we are aware and keeps up up to date with everything

Paula McCafferty from the Northwich branch has been amazing to us. We moved in earlier this year and we're straight away assigned Paula as our main contact. We had an issue with a leak which was dealt with quickly, followed by an issue with a leaking shower which was resolved by fitting a brand new shower within a couple of days. Since moving in to now, any issues we've had have been dealt with quickly and professionally, the best rental company that we've rented from by a mile!

As a landlord renting property is not always easy and there can be challenges along the way. I have to give credit to my property manager Paula McCafferty at the Northwich branch. She is a shining light at the branch, very responsive, actively working to give the best service to both myself as a landlord and the tenants. I cannot recommend her services enough. I was thinking of moving agents but Paula's professionalism retained my business.

With the support of Ms Paula and her team at Northwich branch we were able to secure our new home. I will definitely recommend Leaders as they are supportive, informative, gets the job completed and definitely leaves you with a feeling of satisfaction.

If you’re after a stress free letting agent, then don’t use leaders. This is for either a tenant or landlord I wouldn’t use these. Multiple issues over the a few years and I can no longer give the a second chance. Very happy to now be free of this agency.

We rent a property from them in March but it was our nightmare. Day 1, no hot water for bath/shower... but telling us to check boiler, top up issue (no good understanding about the property or no good communication with the landlord)... but all they told me to do, didnt work, until we called the utility company and sorted it out by ourself , and our whole family got no hot water/boiler over 4 days. During the startup, they told us 2 deposit schemes but we were new about renting house in UK and choosing the one which we were not fully understand. At that moment, we wanted to change it but they told me we cannot be changed and start with this zero deposit scheme, it is not good(at least to our family) because each month we paid £42 extra related to the deposit but finally, we were told we got nothing from the deposite. It doesnt make any sense if they could not fully explain to me and didnt allow us to quit about this scheme.
After moving in, problem of the electricity, water leakage....pops up but we were asked to pay for the electricity checking fee because they blamed on us. We know the reason now and we think they should help me to get back the money from the landlord.
Last month, we moved out because it was too hard if the house keep fixing and without allowed us to use shower.... ok, we hope the nightmare gone but after about 2-3 weeks, they send me an email telling us to pay over £400 for a long list about fixing wall mark, additional clean up, toilet board, light bulbs...... all asking moneys but without good proof they are our liability. Now, we wanted to talk to the landlord and they just told me they cannot get any feedback from the landlord but keep sending email telling me to pay this over £400 fixing cost or they will pass it to debt collector.......
It looks like they are not helpful to their customers even we got their reply. They keep asking you to pay without telling you any good reason to pay...
