DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had a property rented out in Milton Keynes with Leaders as the property managers. During this time, I also put the property on the market using the sales side of Leaders. 3 months after the end of tenancy, with the property still on the market, I visited the now vacant flat to do a final clean and paint, meeting the sales representative to collect the keys from the tenants from him. It was at this point I realised that leaders never had the keys from the tenant returned to them. Not only did nobody within Leaders property management team not mention this, they did not know this. It took my all afternoon calling parties within Leaders, and then contacting one of the former tenants directly I found that the keys were never handed back in. I raised this immediately with Leaders, expressing my intense disappointment as the bare minimum I would expect would be collection of keys, which they not only failed at, they did not know about it.
3 months later, there is still a set of unaccounted keys and this is not resolved. Correspondence throughout has been slow and I have had multiple emails unanswered. Do not use this company.
It is worth also mentioning that after being on the market with leaders for 8 months, being marketed poorly and sometimes incorrectly, no buyer was found. I then put the property on the market with a different estate agency who successfully found a buyer in 1 day.

Jane is an outstanding member of the Team at Leaders, she goes above and beyond to keep Tennents and Landlords happy.

Daniel Dixon has recently taken over as Property Manager for our rental property and has been very professional in dealing with a very quick turn around for new tenants moving into the house. His proactive approach and communication has been excellent and combined with a very friendly manner. Thank you.

Alex Eldred recently oversaw an issue we were experiencing with a leak to an external water pipe which was affecting our water usage bills. He arranged for all of the work to be carried out. He kept us updated on a regular. The matter has now been fully resolved. Many thanks. Fiona Newman

I had a mixed experience with Leaders when they took over the property I was renting. They were slow to respond to the repairs I reported and they did not inform me about a rent increase. This resulted in a threat of a charge for late payment when I underpaid for one month. However, they did not follow through with the charge after I complained. My experience improved significantly when Annalise Collins became my property manager. She promptly responded to my emails and quickly arranged repairs. Most importantly, she demonstrated exceptional professionalism when we moved out. Due to previous property managers losing our inventory check-in, misplacing half of our deposit, and getting the start date of our tenancy wrong, we faced a lot of difficulties. Annalise swiftly resolved all these complications and kept me informed throughout the process. Thanks to her excellent service, I am leaving a 5-star review rather than a 1-star review.

Property manager Daniel has been a breath of fresh air since taking over management of the property I rent. He takes ownership of issues promptly with an honest, fair and proactive lead, and always keeps me in the loop. I have been very impressed and reassured by both his professionalism and friendliness. Worst Letting Company we have ever dealt with.
We left our rental property at the end of February 2023, paid the rent on time over a 3 year period .
It took 3 months to receive part of our deposit back.
Had to send them a copy of dilapidations from the previous inventory as they had lost the original.
After a number of weeks they sent us ( Through the Depositary scheme ) a settlement figure of 75%
( £ 1500 ) of the deposit we left. More than 90 % of this figure was for damages which were on the original Inventory list caused by the previous tenants so the had either not read the Inventory list we sent through or chose to ignore it.
Eventually after we sent them highlighted copies of the original list showing previous tenants damages we agreed on a figure which frankly was not worth the time and effort fighting over so the depositary informed us the money would be in our account within 5 working days.
After numerous emails and calls eventually received the funds 3 weeks later.
If you were desperate for the return of deposits and want to deal with a efficient and professional company don't use Leaders. The most unprofessional company I have dealt with in 50 years

Annalise has been my property manager for a few months now and she is simply amazing. I had a few maintaince issues in my flat and she managed to chase things up for me and sort them out in no time. She always gets back to me if I have any queries. I am really grateful and thankful to her.

I have not been a tenant for more than 40 years, so I have found Alex's advice and support very helpful. In the 6 weeks since I moved in to Flat 2, Rothsay Gardens, Bedford he has -
facilitated the the replacement of the old gas cooker with an electric one and the installation of an electric smart meter. Though I directly organised these events, I kept Alex advised.
He organised and then informed me of repair work to be carried out. This was done on the agreed date and to my satisfaction.
He organised and the informed me of appointments relating to Energy Performance Certificate and the Gas Safety Certificate. The first of these took place on 2nd May. The second is scheduled for 24th May.

To date, I am entirely satisfied with Alex as the Property Manager. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that there has been no real emergency for him to deal with so far. Should the occasion arise, I will update my review.

After nearly a year renting through leaders, where we have had some issues with PMs, Daniel is clearly a cut above the rest.
