My previous review was deleted by house signs after having my first review "verified".

Bought two signs from House signs. I received confirmation via email about the purchase and nothing else. I chased to find out when I will receive the signs, I was told it was still with house signs and should be with me in X amount of weeks. Today I emailed to asked when the signs would be due only to be told that it was still at House signs and would be with me later this week. Came home this afternoon to find the signs… however missing bolts and washers. Clearly Woman whom I spoke to DID NOT check to see where my signs were and just fobbed me off. Told that email confirmations have been sent and to check spam… seems like this is her standard response to customers when she can’t be bothered to check orders.

I contacted her to ask where the bolts and washers were - very irate at this point especially as I was being lied to. She had an appallingly bad attitude. I will never buy a sign from this company and strongly recommend future buyers steer clear unless you are happy to be lied to and fobbed off. All in all the signs are good but not worth the hassle. Will go else where in future.

Apparently washers and bolts are now being sent. Will see if and when this happens.

Just replying to your response - your member of staff didn’t even apologise and was extremely vague when I questioned her about lying about checking where my signs were - uncalled for and unprofessional - She was merely dismissive. I was irate as I paid for a service I did not receive.
As I said I checked all spam trash folders and did not receive any emails. I checked daily.

Beautiful, high quality signs which provide the perfect finishing touch to our property that we have spent several years renovating. The personal customer service was excellent - I needed two signs to match and Lucy was very helpful in assisting with the production of one sign with one line of text and another with two lines of text. Superb finish, fantastic value for money with engraved silver lettering. Carefully packaged - we are delighted. Having a house sign made is generally something you only do once, and the beautiful Welsh slate and quality engraving is fantastic. Fixing to a brick wall was easy with some ‘no more nails’ and a drill which made it invisible. Thank you Lucy and team.

We are over the moon with our new house sign, the slate is of excellent quality and the lettering, styling and finish are perfect! It is really quite a beautiful sign. The service has been excellent, we wanted something a little different from what I could see on the website, and all communication around this was quick, helpful and friendly. We would certainly recommend housesignes Wales, and would use them again!

So pleased with the house sign we have received and very reasonably priced as well. Did take a little longer than expected however it was worth the wait. Would definitely use this company again as the finished product is wonderful.

I originally emailed this company as no-one else responded to my enquiry as I wanted something a little different. Lucy answered me within 30 mins (prob less) and stayed in touch throughout until I was happy with the proof which took less than 24 hours. Lucy also made it very clear in her emails to me that my order would take 3/4 weeks Lucy also emailed me my tracking email (which I "lost" so she resent it). I received my order last night and I am thrilled with what they have done.
However, Lucy is the one I give all the credit to as she has constantly responded to every single email I sent to her. Well done Housesigns and very well done Lucy.

The order did take a while to arrive, longer than I was told - However, for the price they charge in comparison to other companies, they are amazing value for money. We are really pleased we waited and trusted it would arrive.

I designed my own sign and they were really accomodating, the finish is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The weight of the sign is substantial too, and the way it was packaged and delivered was really safe. I would use them again.

Just moved to a new house and needed to replace a couple of signs that were frankly falling off the wall. Found housesigns.wales via Google. Thought I couldn't go wrong with the best raw material in the world, made contact and found very helpful admin staff, so placed an order for one. It duly arrived, surpassing all expectations on quality so immediately ordered another. I would sum up their product and service in one word, Brilliant.

Prior to ordering my signs from Slatesign I looked at Trustpilot and was put off by some of the negative reviews. Despite this, I placed my order as I was still attracted to the product images and descriptions on their website. Thankfully my experience was the complete opposite of what the reviews here say which leaves me to wonder who leaves such reviews or if only those who have a negative experience bother to write about it in detail. I orderd 4 slate signs, 1 with posts, 2 medium and 1 large. They arrived really well packaged and are stunning in design, exactly as I hoped. I received excellent customer service from Lucy throughout, to the point where she redid my design 3 times as I changed things and also implemented exact measurements for the fixings on the large sign that was going onto a preset mounting frame. All in all, excellent product, great packaging and superb customer support. Yes, it took a few weeks to arrive but Lucy informed me of that in advance and just in case everyone has forgotten there is an unprecedented global pandemic going on and supply chains around the world are massively impacted so just give these guys and other small businesses a break...

Buyer beware!!

We ordered a sign on 18 May and we had no communication or confirmation thereafter until we chased the order. We were promised by Lucy "We will be emailing you the proof for approval either later today or tomorrow, keep an eye on the spam folder just in case." however it wasn't until several emails that we got the proof for approval 5 days later.

Delivery was promised to be within 3 weeks thereafter, however, 3 weeks later on 15 June and no communication or order delivery, I was promised" Still with us at the moment sorry, but will leave us this week, you will receive an email when it leaves with all the tracking info.........."

Today is 23 June, more than a month after placing the order, no communication whatsoever and order has still not arrived. Very disappointed by the lack of customer service and adequate service. The phone number provided on their website rings continuously and no one will pick up.

I would not recommend Housesigns.wales to anyone, if you need a house sign, please go elsewhere or you might be disappointed like we have.

We have since ordered a similar sign elsewhere which it has since arrived.

I recommend Housesigns.wales to review their current processes.

Albiet Housesigns.wales claim to have emailed tracking information and the sign has been delivered, they know none of that has happened otherwise I wouldn't be leaving this review.

Housesigns.wales, please resend the email you claim to contain the tracking details? We had the same issue before where you added an extra character to my email address to make it seem you sent an email to the wrong email address.

These people are liers and this is echoed by other reviews here, they clearly know what they are doing!

Please provide the tracking details you claim you have emailed us, you have my correct email address!

Just wanted to give an update from my review below as a refund has now been supplied for the postage (I had to send the sign back for fixings to be mended). I have now received the refund so well done House Signs - as mentioned in the previous review the sign itself is excellent but the after sales service needed improving so perhaps they have taken notice and upped their game. Well done to them.

We ordered some new house signs for our property in Bermuda and I must say, they are FANTASTIC! The customer service was brilliant throughout, always prompt at responding to our emails and changes/questions. Very well done and thank you again, we already have friends in Bermuda asking who made our signs!

Perfect from start to finish so moved by the finished sign it was better than expected which was a nice surprise. Fantastic workmanship and service.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering!
Signs have not arrived despite waiting for 4 weeks now.
When I have chased up via the chat facility to find out when they would arrive I was initially lied to and then told to send an email and wait for a responce.
I can only hope that the signs are worth the wait if and when they eventually arrive and advise anyone else to use another company for signs if they want them within a defined period of time.
28/06/21 - Signs have now arrived and are excellent quality.

I ordered a bespoke house sign. Lucy was really friendly and helpful. The sign did take longer than expected but it was worth the wait. It arrived well packaged and clear instruction on mounting on the wall with hidden fitting . It is truly a beautiful and unique house sign and i am absolutely over the moon delighted . Competitively priced too

This is no doubt a quality product. I could not find the motif I wanted on the website so asked if they could personalise this for me. This was no problem and I was sent a proof which with a little adjustment was perfect. I did have to wait a while for the house sign to arrive, so if you are prepared to wait you should not be disappointed. The slate is a good thickness and quite weighty, the engraving is deep and nicely painted in. Very easy to fix with the secret fixings. All in all, an excellent quality product and I would purchase from them again.

Purchased a house sign online and the customer service was excellent in adjusting the proofs of the sign until I got the house name exactly as I wanted. The finished sign looks superb and the lettering is well engraved and then painted.
I would certainly buy from them again and recommend them to other people looking for a quality sign and good service.

Excellent service and a superb house sign. Lucy was particularly helpful. I'm so pleased that I'm considering buying another house just so that I can buy another sign 🙂
