Got to agree with a lot of the other reviews in that it's an excellent product and can't really fault the website and ordering process but the after sales leaves a lot to be desired.

The sign took quite a long time to deliver but I was really pleased with it so worth the wait but I did have a problem in fixing it to the wall, maybe because the wall is rough quarry stones and not regular brickwork but anyway the plastic lugs snapped off when I inserted it into the holes I drilled.

I contacted Welsh signs and they asked me to send back and they would fix it and reimburse me for the postage. The sign came back within a few days and I was able to fix to the wall although it's still not really solid and I think it would work better with drilled holes through the sign itself rather than these 'invisible' fixings but it looks good so generally happy with it.

However, no sign of the reimbursement that was promised and despite several emails and a message left on their phone absolutely no response whatsoever. So yes, good product, poor customer service.

We were so thrilled with our free standing house sign that we ordered a matching slate one for the house. The quality and finish is excellent, customer service prompt, efficient and polite and the interactive website a great help. I would gladly promote this company.

Decided which sign to have using the site sign designer . When the sign was delivered, we were over the moon with it. Far better in real life. Excellent quality/workmanship for such a low price. Very good customer service with quick reply.

An excellent product and well worth the money. We absolutely love our new slate house sign. It looks really smart. Although there was a slight delay with the dispatch, we were kept informed as required. Thanks to all involved.

Really like the interactive part of the website that allows you to get the design you want. Delivery was a little longer than expected, but definitely worth the wait as the quality is second to none. Would definitely use them again and recommend them with no hesitation..

Awful costumer service! Gives you the option for international delivery only to then tell you they do not deliver internationally and to keep asking for a UK address. I do not need the item to be sent to the Uk! Very rude reply from their costumer service so had to start a dispute with PayPal as they are now ignoring my emails about the refund. I would not recommend them and I will not be buying anything off them again! All I want is my refund for the item I have never received..

The title sums it up really. 5 stars for the signs, 1 star for customer service.

I loved the ordering process and the fact I could test the text against the designs before ordering. And the price was high, but it seemed worth it given the personal nature and size of the item. But, from moments after I ordered and throughout the entire process, the customer service from one person in particular (named on other reviews) was the worst I have ever experienced. I have written to that individual to explain all of this, but I have had no reply - apology or explanation- to that email which leads me to write this review.

Issues that are far from what is expected of any company include:
- Repeatative, blunt and/or rude responses to queries on the website chat and by email.
- Ignoring my repeated request to change the order email address.
- No apology for a one week delay in the item being posted despite being told it was about to go (noting this was also well outside the maximum window mentioned on the website)
- A default response to all email queries to 'check spam' before providing an actual answer with no offer of help unless pushed.

So, whilst the end product is lovely - beautifully made, robust and comes with fittings that do the job perfectly - the negative feeling of being seen as a burden rather than a valuable customer that I felt from day one did not make for a pleasant experience and has put a dampner on any recommendations I would have made to others. I see other reviews with similar points which leads me to believe this situation will never change. Order because you will love your sign when you receive, but be prepared for the worst customer service if you ask any questions.

I decided to purchase a house sign for a birthday present. The communication and help designing the sign was great. However, following payment I’ve noticed a huge deterioration in the lack of communication. Numerous emails have been sent, with a guarantee that the sign was on its way over a week ago. I’ve tried calling a number of times, but sadly unable to speak to anyone. I understand the pressures on all businesses at the moment, and I also understand the potential for possible delays in receiving the order. However, good communication doesn’t hurt anyone. Should I ever receive the sign, I’ll gladly leave feedback on its quality.

Following on from your speedy reply, I would like to raise your attention to an email received dated the 28th of April stating “the sign will leave us next week and you will receive an email with a tracking number”. We are now two weeks on from the 28th of April and still no sign. That email, which is in my inbox and not spam box, is the last communication received from yourselves. I feel keeping customers up to date with any type of delay is highly important and good customer service.

Really happy with our sign - looks amazing. Have dropped from 5 to 4 stars as first sign received wasn't very good, but the factory agreed it wasn't to their standards and remade it - now a very happy customer. The invisible fixings look much better and wasn't hard to fix, stone looks great and the lettering and overall quality is great.

I have been promised twice that this will be sent out on separate occasions.
This has not happened.
I am now taking out a VISA dispute to get my money back that they are fraudulently holding

Nothing but praise. Very pleased with the product - great quality. A handsome chunk of slate with precision-engraved characters. The enamelled characters last forever (as opposed to paint). We can vouch for this since we had one from this company many years ago which still looks new.

The whole process is user-friendly with email verification of the design before production so you see exactly what you are going to get. It is also very reasonably priced in our opinion. Great service.

Received my slate house sign. Beautifully made and looks lovely. Ordered 18th March, received it last week (19th April) that was my fault as didn't look in junk mail for the proof - so would have had it quicker!! Thank you :)

I have ordered two slates sign from this company. The first was a house number and name, which I was delighted with. It is really good quality with a clear border. It can be viewed from the main road, which has really helped delivery people, during lockdown. My second order was slightly different, as it was a sign for a special section of my garden and was being fitted to a wooden fence. I wanted something less formal and chose the rustic edging and was delighted with the result. I have recommended this company to family and friends.

Received my sign, looks lovely. Brilliant quality, everything i expected from the proof. Delivery was later than anticipated but in these trying times, is understandable. Brilliant product and service.

I have just taken delivery of my house name sign.
Very impressed with the quality and clarity of the sign, just what I needed & wanted. I fitted it to a block of Oak sitting it on the wall marking the entrance to my home. It is clear to see from 20 metres and looks great.

Same as all the other negative reviews on here unfortunately. Quick to respond to my initial enquiry, proof confirmed, advised 2 weeks lead time and then........nothing. Chased up by email several times, told item will be sent out with tracking, nothing, then told they have no record of my order?!?!?!? I then got very cross and requested a refund as sign is clearly not coming and am now being ignored. Lucy seems to be the only point of contact and is shocking on customer service. Not quite sure how this company are still going. Just be honest and stop ignoring and lying to people, it’s so unprofessional. I’m now having to spend every day chasing and start proceedings to get my money back which I could do without to be honest. What a waste of time and effort, a terrible company to deal with. You have being warned!!!!!

The sign was just what we were looking for and exactly the same as the proof sent prior to manufacture. It came with clear fixing instructions and was very easy to put up next to the house door. Just mark the end of the nylon rods with a dot of paint, varnish etc, hold up to the wall (with spirit level on top) let the paint mark two points on the wall. Then drill the holes where the marks are, squeeze in some glue (I used hard as nails type), insert the rods and job done. Took very little time. The sign is very good quality and looks great. Highly recommended.

Paid the money via PayPal for security. Email shortly followed with a proof of my design. Adjustments made to suit my specific requirements. Prompt manufacturing. Easy collection. Recipient loved the product. Very high quality with a superb finish. Highly reccomend. Will use again if required. Couldn’t have been easier
