Excellent quality slate house number and very easy to fit if you follow the supplied instructions.
We’ve now bought two signs for two different houses and have had no issues at all.
The process does take a couple of weeks, which is clearly stated on the website, so some of the poor reviews seem undeserved — people just don’t want to wait for quality anymore.
Highly recommended, just be patient with the process and you’ll be very pleased with the result.

I have used this company a few times commercially and they have produced a good product. However the last 2 order experiences have been terrible. They state that orders are dispatched within 7 - 10 working days. Ordered 24/4/25 arrived 25/5/25. Ordered 18/11/25, apparently now with courier due 18/12/25. Please insist on a realistic del date with them or you will be disappointed. If they had been honest when I ordered it then that wouldn't be so bad, but when chasing I felt like I was a being a nuisance to them. Their reason for lateness was because it was a busy time at Xmas. not sure what was on in April that it took a month then too.

I bought two signs and they are absolutely beautiful and high quality. I can't believe the value with these and I would not go anywhere else. I highly recommend these signs.

I ordered an item at the end of July, I'm now at the end of August and still waiting for this item, the 7-10 days turn around is un-true, I had a delivery notification on the 7th August and then an update from Evri that there was a delay on the delivery on the 15th August and it just never arrived.

I've chased this company firstly for an update and they said the Courier were unable to deliver (they didn't even try) it needs to be returned before they can do anything, a few weeks later and more chasing I asked for a refund - again they are insisting that the item needs to be returned before they can issue a refund, so I've had to raise a dispute with my bank.

Absolutely terrible service.

Update based on feedback; no item refused, wasn't event attempted, Michael our Evri driver delivers to this address at least twice a week. 1 star is absolutely spot on and sums up overall serice, poor service, me having to chase, seems to be a common complaint. Not good service.

Well chuffed (Yorkshire slang!)with the slate house sign. Beautifully crafted. White Yorkshire Rose with number. Thick slate and heavier than I thought as the quality is exceptional.

Great company to deal with ,keep us up to date and did just what we requested. Very good price. 5 star.

Awful company to deal with and got seriously let down. Ordered well within delivery timeframe for Christmas 2024. Chased on 18th Dec, to be told it wouldn't be arriving before Christmas. I sent screenshots of their delivery times and website banner but they weren't interested in helping me. Now waiting for a refund 4 days before Christmas, with no way of being able to order from elsewhere in time. Seriously sad experience 😞

Although delivery took a little longer than hoped, we were always informed of progress. Sign was exceptional, looks absolutely fantastic on the wall.
Would definitely recommend as price and quality cannot be bettered.

Please read other reviews on late delivery time and poor customer service,I wish I had. Firstly I had to chase for a delivery date, which was much longer than stated, it took just short of a month to arrive. You blamed it on a flood not the festive period (in September ) Then on arrival the quality of finish was poor. One tile the type was crooked, the other the paint had spilled, the paint was so thin, and not thick and glossy like you claim, you could see the bumps through it. Both were covered in what looked like water marks. They claim the vegetable oil finish would go, BUT they would not agree, saying there was nothing wrong, absolutely ridiculous. I had to constantly chase for the refund and then they wouldn't pay for the return postage of £9. My advice is to buy elsewhere, it'll be quicker, better customer service, and in the unfortunate event of a problem, you'll be able to get a satisfactory conclusion. Only concluded today from September.

Absolutely delighted with the house sign. Delivered to the Isle of Man

General feeling is a little disappointing, .Placed an order on 18 th Sept and after chasing twice it finally arrived on 14 th October. So the 7. - 10 days on the order form was way off.
The slate is good quality and the engraving good but the finish of the painting especially round the border has blotches as though the paint was too thin or has been rubbed off on the packaging. Luckily I have some gold paint and fine brush so I was able to rectify the problem but I think the quality control needs to be better, it shouldn't have left the factoryinw this.

Excellent service from the web based editor through to draft versions and final product.

Signs look great on high quality slate and precise engraving and lettering.

I was provided with help to get the design exactly as I envisioned it, with emails all being answered promptly. The sign far exceeds my expectations. A chunky slab of slate with discreet fittings ( so no more ugly nails) and the engraving is superb. Great value for money. I highly recommend this company.

A really nice looking house sign with house number and road name, easy to install on a wall.
After a couple of days with a little sunshine the battery is charged then as night falls the sign is illuminated which can be easily read for 30 to 50 metres away.
It's a great sign for a low cost

I needed to replace an old wooden house plaque for a property I have recently moved into and the new slate sign made by Housesigns was perfect. I also needed 2 'Private Parking' signs which Housesigns provided and which are equally perfect. Top quality engraved slate signs and I am totally delighted.

The slate house sign I wanted for the property needed to be slightly bigger than the standard sizes Housesigns offer on their website. Lucy was very helpful and quick to respond with a quote for providing the slightly bigger slate.

Couldn’t be more delighted with my sign, exactly as I was hoping for and made very quickly. Lucy was v patient in amending things for me and I don’t hesitate to recommend Housesigns Wales to anyone looking for a beautiful and tasteful sign for their home.

I would like to start by saying that the sign I received was excellent and beautiful quality. The reason I have deducted 2 stars is that despite providing exact measurements of the bracket the sign was to hang from, the u bolts sent with my sign didn’t fit and I had to source the bolts elsewhere. Then instead of providing a return label and proper return instructions, I was just told to post the bolts back for a refund, which I did and provided proof of posting. Now they have apparently not arrived and I have to claim for a refund from the post office. I should have sent recorded and let them pay the extra postage. Not very good customer service. What a shame.

Absolutely thrilled with the hanging house sign which arrived just a week or so after ordering. The quality of the product is excellent, can’t wait to see it in position.
