Just an introductory company that use random man in van. Quoted price doubled when they arrived, settled on a price I was ok with/expected.
The guys in the van were great and really reasonable, just the office that wanted more money.

They increased the price when they arrived as I had more rubbish than expected, sounds reasonable except the price was more than double! We did not realise we need to supervise them throughout the process, they ended up leaving without removing all the rubbish, they just left a pallet on our driveway, the heaviest item which was supposed to incur the extra cost.
Complained and asked them to come back and finish the job but they refused.

Update 1st October- this company wrote a very nice response on Trust pilot months later to look helpful but they are not, we spoke on the phone the day after the collection and they refused to acknowledge any concerns. Be warned.

Prior to the collection, I sent a photo of the items to be removed and was quoted £160. However, when the team arrived, I was informed that the price had increased to £450 — almost triple the original quote. After some discussion, this was reduced to £350, which I still believe to be excessive.

I was told the photo "didn't really show the job," yet at no point was I asked to provide additional pictures or clarification. I would have been happy to provide more detail had I been asked. Additionally, the rubbish filled less than half of your truck and the work was completed quickly by two people, further calling into question the final charge.

While I felt pressured to agree to the higher amount on the spot, I do not believe the final price fairly reflects the scope of the job or the initial agreement.

Avoid this company at all costs! Very unprofessional rubbish collector. They stole my brand new travel suitcase and refused to return despite me calling them just 2 minutes after they left my property.

Easy to make booking via website.
Good communication. Collection team were polite, friendly and arrived on time.

I called them on a Sunday for a last-minute urgent job, and everything,from booking to pick-up, was arranged within the hour. They were polite, respectful, and professional. Highly recommended.

This company is a complete scam. They quote you a low price at first and then massively increase it once they turn up. They also left a lot of damage to the property - probably deliberately

I couldn't be more disappointed with a company I have dealt with here in the UK. This has been a bad experience and I would not work with this company again in the future.

WARNING THE WORST COMPANY EVER : (
I am absolutely disgusted with Handy Rubbish. I am extremely stressed and will be taking them to court. they asked for me to pay £500 deposit upfront for rubbish collection and I agreed, however when I checked my bank account they took the whole amount of £1150 before the job had even started. They then failed to turn up to collect the rubbish and I have been waiting 13 days for the items to be collected. I was shocked when the advisor on the phone John told me that he was based in the call centre in the Philippines and the owners are based in Poland and there is no physical presence in the UK. Had I known this at the start I would have not instructed Handy Rubbish. I called another company called London Waste Removal and the guys came to my property within 2 hours and removed all of the rubbish. I spoke to the director Neil and he was very understanding regarding my situation. I would highly recommend using his company for rubbish removal - 02071013418

Not great you send them pictures and they tell you £250 and then turn up later than said and say its more money so wouldn't use them

I received an awful service. Called & made a next day appointment for a removal of a large item. I received a callback and a confirmation email of the appointment. Made sure on the morning that everything was set up for an easy process. The Handy Removers never showed up, didn’t call or anything. I can see from other reviews that I am not the only one who’s been ignored but at least they didn’t show up & double the price or cause any issues. Will not be using this business again as they’re obviously inadequate to run an actual business!

Communication was excellent with the team, they were responsive, professional and contacted us when they promised. The price of the job did go up on the day, but it was completely understandable as there was so much to clear from the house. The very best thing about the experience was the two guys who did the removal. Yordan Dichev and his colleague were just GREAT, they cleared the house so quickly, took two loads and they left the house in absolutely IMMACULATE condition. Considering the house had been occupied for over 60 years they left it so clean. We were so impressed. Thank you from Kate & Neal xx

The online booking was very quick and streamlined. While they said it can up to 24 hours, they got back to me within an hour or so. Following my booking I was sent a confirmation e-mail and the office person I worked with also followed up with me on the day of my rubbish pickup letting me know when the pick up people will be arriving.

The two guys that did my rubbish pickup showed up on time and did a quick assessment of my pick up and provided me a finalized quote.

They then got to work and quickly picked up all of the rubbish (boxes, packaging, and some wood) and cleared the area.

The whole process from booking the pickup to having it done within a few days was very easy.

Absolutely useless. Submitted pictures online and was called quickly by Sherwin who said £250. He said can he come and look, I said sure or I can send videos or pictures. He then said "it's ok I can actually see clearly from the pictures". He said he would come Wednesday between 9-11am. That time came and went - nothing. We chased, they said the price is only an estimate and they will decide a final price and come back to us for 1pm attendance. 1pm came and went, we called - they said the price is now £370. I can hire a bloody skip for that price! Horrible service, Horrible communication - would not recommend.

Terrible service. We booked a job for 12.30pm, several weeks in advance and confirmed during the week that the job was still happening. 12.30 came and went and when I called they said the team were caught up on another job and unable to get there until 2pm. Then we get to 2pm and they call me to say that their van is full and they can't come to us at all. Unacceptable behaviour when you have booked an appointment and they shouldn't have booked in another job ahead of ours if they knew their van would be too full to use. The guy on the phone was incredibly unhelpful and just kept saying sorry but they can only come tomorrow, which is not at all useful when clearing a garage on a day deadline. I had to book another company last minute at higher cost so please avoid using this company at all costs. Not worth the hassle

3 bed house clearance over 3 floors.
Very good communication on email and phone.
Excellent portal to load photos and instructions so they know what they are collecting.
Guys called to advise arrival time and were on time. Cleared everything out and were quick, clean, polite and really good.
Arranged payment before they left and was very pleased with the service.
Price was the same as quoted and no issues.

My experience was not good. Driver arrived over 90 minutes late. By this time it was raining and the matress was getting wet. After discussion, we realized there was no room in the van for my rubbish despite sending photos and receiving a quote. Pick up was rearranged for the next morning. As I live 1 hour's drive away, I was not pleased. I was told that the agreed price was not guaranteed, and it would now cost between £300 and £400!!! We had agreed £156. I told them to forget it. We think it's a call centre based abroad despite English names. Poor driver, who didn't speak English, was embarassed. All discussions were made on driver's phone. I've now chosen a local company.

Suggest do not use this company. I had the same experience as others. Although had firmly agreed on quote and added nothing to the list, price was nearly twice as much after the men arrived. The men were polite but their office put the price up. I would not budge on the price and after an hour negotiating they left, not having done the job. Very deceptive operation.

Arranged to meet at 11.30, they even called the day prior to confirm.
Waited for their arrival - nothing.
I had a call from them at 15.11 to say sorry couldn't do the job that day.
It was picking up 1 x mattress.
No one picks up the phone, very difficult to contact, time wasters.

Avoid if you want to do honest business. Sent a picture was given a quote. This was reneged on at the time of the job. The workmen left a horrendous mess and were argumentative. Would give zero stars if I could.
