Don't go near them! Arranged a same day collection of a 4 seater sofa and they failed to tell me that they were not collecting having told me it was a definite collection. Utterly useless company. Avoid at all costs!

Very happy with the service I received.
I shopped around before choosing this company. I spoke to Jessie on the phone to get a price for the three items of furniture I wanted removed. The price was confirmed by email. I had read other reviews which said that the price quoted goes up when the workers arrive, so I called back again to make sure that the price quoted was exactly what I would pay with no hidden extras. I was assured by Jessie that the price was correct. Milena and Runen came 30 minutes before the appointed time which was great for me. They were polite and helpful, and moved the items without any damage to walls in my narrow hallway. Milena took photos before and after collecting my items. All in all I was very happy, both with the price quoted and with the service I received from Milena and Rumen. I would use this company again. The price quoted was much better than others I called.

Sent photos, agreed a price at £200 and then get a call as they arrive on site to say that £200 is now £450 as there is a 'tonne' of rubbish. Absolute nonsense since it was a bit of turf and about 4 black bags of cardboard and paper. Sheer price gouging from a bunch of rogue traders. Avoid at all costs.

Our phone/email quotes are guide estimates; the final price is confirmed on site once the crew assess actual volume/weight, access/loading distance, and any local charges. That said, any large change must be explained clearly and agreed before loading so you can make an informed choice.
For context, turf/soil is charged by heavier bands because disposal is weight-based, while cardboard/paper is lighter and typically cheaper. Still, moving from £200 to £450 is a big jump and should be justified against the measured volume/weight on arrival.

We’ll audit the call notes, crew photos and on-site assessment to check whether our process and pricing bands were applied correctly. Prompt and efficient rubbish collection
Good experience with this company - the phone call came immediately after I sent an online query. I sent pictures of our rubbish and was given a quote. They turned up when they said they would, and by that point we'd added a few things to the pile, which increased the price but it was still reasonable. The rubbish was also in several piles in different places in the garden and they were happy to collect all of it from different places and take it away,

Terrible experience. I called them up to arrange a collection for waste at my mums house. Told them the items they quoted me £180. I then went and read reviews here and I saw that often they would come to collect and increase the price. So to avoid this, I drove to my mums house and took pictures from every angle and wrote a list of every item. She then quoted me in writing that the collection would be £200. Next day they come to collect and I drive down to be there, the waste men take pictures send it to head office and the head office call me to say it’s now £330 based on the assessment. I LOST IT. How could you increase the price based off of pictures he sent you that are the EXACT same pictures that I sent yesterday. I told the head office woman I will not pay a penny above the agreed price of £200. She then comes back with I have negotiated down to £280. I said NO. I’m not paying more than £200 out of principle. They wasted my time when I drove to take the pictures so I wouldn’t be in this situation. So I said tell your drivers to leave.
I’d rather use a company who sticks to their word (even if the initial quote is higher)than this deceptive company.

Great, friendly and prompt clearance.
We paid more than we hoped as we'd forgotten how packed our garage had become but Yordan and David were excellent at advising and guiding us about the items we planned to retain and those we wanted them to clear. This meant we used the capacity wisely and they were also friendly, professional, flexible and patient whilst we surveyed the items being cleared. Would definitely use them again without hesitation.

They arranged a team next day on a weekend. Had other prices but they could do first. They worked from pictures I sent, no extras. May not have used if seen the reviews but mine was excellent. Commercial flytipping waste with a waste transfer note. Can't ask for more and they sent completed works pictures. Will use again

Avoid! I engaged with what I thought was a local waste business but all the comms then came from this company. Quoted from photos I had sent. One guy turned up, not two; he sent same photos back to the office and office then said price would be more than double the quote. I said no. The driver guy also expected it to be the original quote, so the guy in the office was the one gouging the price. He then tried to offer to reduce price a bit but I had had enough of his scamming so I declined and will look elsewhere for someone reputable.

Please do not use this company to remove your rubbish. I beg you out of respect for my family and the damage this company has done to our flat that you please find another company to remove your rubbish.
I requested Handy Rubbish to remove Rubbish from my loft space. They put their foot through not 1 but 2 ceilings. They did not tell me about the damage and called me for payment and left the premises without telling me. My Builder turned up in the afternoon to find the mess they had left.
The carpet needed replacing and two ceilings needed to be re-plastered and painted. Damage was also noted to furniture. They offered me zero compensation despite on their website stating that they would pay for any damage caused. I had to pay for all of the repairs out of my own pocket totalling thousands.
During my complaint, they removed the section on the website that stated they would repair any damage caused by their team which tells you everything you need to know about this company. Luckily, I took screenshots.
When I asked the lady who worked for the company, what she would do in my position, she stated that I should have cleared the loft space myself.
The company was unbearably rude and offered no remorse. If you are considering using them, please contact me and I will come and clear your rubbish for free to stop these people earning any more money for a disgustingly poor service.

One Star – Aggressive, Rude, and Incompetent: Avoid Handy Rubbish
I booked Handy Rubbish to collect some gardening waste, and it turned out to be one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. Two extremely rude and dismissive men showed up, clearly not interested in doing the job properly. After a long back-and-forth, they half-heartedly started working, and even then, they left about a quarter of the rubbish behind. It felt like they just wanted to finish as quickly as possible with the least effort.
But what truly shocked me was what followed. Within just three hours of finishing the job and sending the invoice, they called me three times—once every hour—aggressively demanding payment. I had already told them I was out shopping and would settle it as soon as I returned, which I did. The tone of these calls felt less like a service provider and more like harassment from a pushy debt collector or criminal gang.
Out of curiosity, I checked their reviews afterward—and I wish I had done it before. They have dozens of one-star reviews describing similar experiences: rudeness, poor quality work, and aggressive follow-up tactics. Clearly, this is not a one-off but a pattern of awful service.
Avoid this company at all costs. Unprofessional, unpleasant, and completely lacking in basic customer service. I regret ever dealing with them.
Let me know if you'd like a punchier version for social media or a more formal one for something like a letter to the council or ombudsman.

Be prepared to haggle
Rang the company after sending pictures, and agreed a price. When the van arrived they took pictures and rand the office . I then got a call from the office saying the price was now £140 originally £90. I told them I had spoken to another company, and I only called them because the other company couldn't do same day. He then lowered the price to £120, I said if they weren't prepared to do it for the quoted price I would use the other company. After some more haggling they agreed to the original price. The guys that took away the rubbish did a good job.
