What is FibreNest? FibreNest is a new provider of ultrafast, full-fibre broadband and voice communication services. We deliver 100%, totally unlimited full-fibre optic internet access directly into new Persimmon Group homes across mainland England, Wales and Scotland - supported with excellent standards of customer service. Why is FibreNest being installed on my development? The decision to deploy FibreNest to new Persimmon and Charles Church developments was made in specific response to a long history of customer complaints regarding existing mainstream communications providers’ performance. An unacceptable number of delays have been experienced by customers when using existing providers to deliver connectivity to new build homes, leading to dissatisfaction amongst customers when they were unable to access broadband services for long periods of time. Furthermore, once connected, some customers have then been provided with poor speeds, leading to unsatisfactory online experiences. FibreNest is being delivered to new developments to address these issues. We do this by helping ensure that Persimmon Group’s customers have more timely access to exceptional full-fibre broadband speeds and at great prices. When will my service be live? We endeavour to have your service ready for the day you move in to your new home. In the unlikely event that your service is not delivered in time you may be due a credit under our Late Installation Guarantee. Our Customer Support Team will be able to assist you.

Email and response

Had an outrage at 2100 hrs Friday night sent e mail knowing it would get seen am Sat morning which was the case still got an e mail reply from Anna saying it had been checked and all working now which is the case well pleased with the reply shows they notice and acknowledge very good service been with them now got 18 months all good

Great customer service

To be honest, the customer service is terrific. You always end up dealing with the same people because I would imagine they are a small team, but they seem to respond quicker than bigger companies, and always resolve the issues. Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to do business with. Positive mention for Kieran who I have dealt with a few times but all of the customer service staff are excellent.

Back up to speed

Had a problem with our speed but Pawel the engineer came and was very helpful and friendly. Spotted an old bit of equipment straight away and got it sorted for us. 10/10

Just avoid

If you move into a Persimmon estate, be aware that you may be limited to using Fibernest as your sole broadband provider for several years. Their service quality can be poor: wait times to reach a technician are often long, and the internet connection frequently drops. Additionally, they do not offer compensation unless an outage lasts longer than two working days (bad luck if the internet is down during the weekend).

Too expensive

Fibrenest appears to have a monopoly in this area, with no alternative providers available at my address.

The pricing is considerably higher than other full fibre providers, and there is no competitive pressure to offer better value.

Given that neighbouring properties have access to more affordable FTTP options, I do not feel the current pricing is reasonable.

If you are considering moving to an alternative supplier when the opportunity becomes available, you may wish to use the following link for further information on the ISPs that might become available to you.

I recognise your dissatisfaction to our pricing, unfortunately our prices are fixed & as stated on our website.

Spoke to a very knowledgeable and patient customer service guy called Jacob Lockart, who talked us through the whole process from opening an account to activation. This involved him calling us back promptly on two occasions, he made us feel valued as he put up with our very poor telephone reception and our lack of IT knowledge but he got a very frustrated couple up and running with internet, thank you

Kieran took my call, dealt with the transfer of the broadband from one property to another within 30 minutes and even provided a courtesy call to ensure that all was working - brilliant service!

Young man just been to fix internet issue. Lovely to chat to, very respectful and has got out internet back up and running fine. Router needed to be exchanged to a pod. All is good 😊
