Why hasn't this been done sooner!!!

Not only do they find ads you put on Gumtree and ask you if you can "rent it on fatlama.com" (the number who sent me that message was 07492885223), they are also obviously putting "bad reviews" on Trust Pilot that aren't actually aimed towards the company, most of them say how it "wasn't the companies fault" or the review is too ridiculous to consider. They're doing this so when you look at the bad reviews you don't see the actual reviews, and people trust them. Absolutely disgusting.

This is truly revolutionary for photographers like me..... I used to use a swapping site to get the kit I needed but often people didnt have the right lens or stand. These guys have everything..... Would definitely recommend.

THE best customer service and this is something that you really need in a business like this.

If I'm totally honest I was a bit worried when I heard about this idea. My sister said that she had heard about it online and thought that I could use it to borrow some props for my business (events).

Anyway, skip forward 3 months and I don't know where I'd be without this service! So handy for picking things up last minute and way cheaper than anywhere else :)

Saw this advertised on facebook for renting a campervan. Such a good idea! My and my hubbie rented a VW from Jimmy to head out into the peaks and had no problems.

Highly recommend!

Pros - Really easy to use and cheap!
Cons - Hard to verify - they don't let any old person on

I use this for my events business on the reg. Makes things so so much cheaper.

I rent out my Mavic and get loads of requests for it. My friends have used it to rent camera gear before and said that it worked like a charm

I'm super grateful for this website and app. I have been renting out my binoculars and guitar on the site for a while and pretty much made my money back on them - great stuff!

Found out about this website from which and also a friend. Just rented some speakers for NYE and it was all sorted in about 15 minuites. Not to say it's the smoothest website in the world (let's not get started about the name...) but I got them for much cheaper than I'd been quoted at rentpasystems.com

Have been renting out my Mavic drone for quite a while now and been earning quite a bit of extra mons, but now there's two more lenders in my area who have under cut me and taken all of my customers 😠 Not impressed

Total meltdown! I borrowed a drill to catch up with some DIY over the holiday period and completely destroyed my wall!!! Now completely unusable and can't hang anything on it!

Bad experience here, went to book and item and booked the wrong one. Ended up borrowing it and cycling around the living room on a unicicle - not what I was expecting at all!

Fat Lama rocks! So far I've earnt over £2000 renting out my electronics, with the live search feature I'm able to see what people need in my area live! Never seen that before. Exciting time for the sharing economy market place

Yeeesss to fat lama. Literally just saved my ashh. Had a shoot scheduled this afternoon and needed a gimbal. My booking got cancelled last minute by the lender - not happy about, but fat lama found me an alternative only about 10 more minutes away. They also paid for the extra costs as this lender was more expensive.

Nice idea, but not for me thanks. Why would anyone rent out their stuff to strangers???

Absolutely LOVE this company. They helped me find a laptop for my son who needed one for an internship he did. Such a funny name and when I spoke to some of the team members they were so accommodating and helpful. 5 stars all day, every day!!!
